Regional MLS listings go online

Ask any longtime Realtor about the MLS book, and you’ll hear a story about the good old days when the only way for a buyer to see property listings was to visit a real estate office and page through an ink-on-paper inventory.

The Internet has forced Realtors to relinquish control of listing information. In the latest evidence of that trend, the Regional Multiple Listing Service today launched HomeToFlorida.com, a site that lets shoppers search some 40,000 listings in Palm Beach, Martin and St. Lucie counties.

The site was created by Boca Raton-based eNeighborhoods.

“There has been some debate in the real estate industry over making multiple listing service data available directly to the public, but recent research has shown that public MLS Web sites are gaining favor with both consumers and real estate professionals,” eNeighborhoods writes in a release.

It should be available, what’s the MLS members worried about? What real estate sales-hole hasn’t given the book to a prospect/customer… Clients is the term a Lawyer uses.

That’s just too funny.

We all know the worst criminals are the ones in uniform; police uniform that is.

They think they are above the law and I laugh my a*s off when they get busted.

What about the overtime scam that hit PBSO?

Just one more waste/abuse of those tax dollars. After all, if you don’t pay the taxes, they just take your home.

Although you vote for these criminals, they have the upper hand. The worst part is…..

You elect them to steal from you.
