The fact that I have loast over 130lbs motivates me. Yes it was a slow process and has taken about a year to get to it, but I was tired of having to pay extra for big mans clothes. I was unable to purchase life insurance due to hight blood pressure and cholesterol. Anyone that tells me they don’t have time is copping out. If you really wanted to lose the weight you will find the time. I get up at 4am to go to the gym and do my 3 mile run before I go to work. So please don’t give me a sob story about not finding the time. If it is improtant to you, you find the time.

Ever since getting married seven years ago my weight had been up and down about 20 - 30 pounds. Finally over two and a half years ago after a trip to Aspen, Colorado it hit me. The photographs of me looking pregnant and like a linebacker did it. Those photos is what motivates me. I don’t want to look like that EVER AGAIN and I want be healthy. I hired a personal trainer right after that Aspen trip and am down 35 pounds and have maintained that for over a year. I work out 4 - 5 days a week with cardio. I do 3 pilates classes a week and 2 days of strength training.. and I don’t have my personal trainer anymore - after I met my goal weight last April - I knew how to do it on my own!
If your not ready to do it - you won’t do it. You have to do it for YOURSELF !

As a busy working mother, finding time to exercise has been a challenge. Knowing the importance of exercising, however, I’ve joined a women’s 30 minute workout “gym” and go on my lunch time 2-3 days a week. Not only am I getting exercise, it keeps me out of the local high calorie restaurants!
