Back to the Track
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
I am pleased to report that projects which have required most of my attention and energy over the past month have reached their conclusion. The past several days have been spent in reflection, recuperation and relief.
I have been WAY out of my exercise routine for weeks, but still somehow have managed to lose a total of 18 pounds since January 1. The blahs will surely go away when I hit the track in the morning, rain or shine.
Here’s hoping that our scheduled meeting with a personal trainer will provide additional motivation to get back to work!

Joye, The runnning part can be hard especially with the weather we are having. Jut returned from a trip to San Francisco where it was a pleasant 55 degrees when I did my 6 mile morning runs along the waterfront. Then I return to Atlanta and the mornings are below freezing making it hard to get motivated. So I do my runs after work when it is at least in the mid 40’s. But there is something about a run in the morning and seeing the sun come up that makes it special. Just waiting for better temperatures to return to my morning runs. Keep it up… John Tackett
