Lots of miles, nothing to show…yet

I had a great week. With Christmas behind me I refocused on my training. Through the week I swam 3x, lifted 2x, did 2 bike trainers sessions and did my first track workout since Ironman. Knees are feeling better, so over the weekend I managed to get my long run up to 75 minutes through Kennesaw Battlefield Park. On Sunday, to celebrate my 45th birthday, I set out to ride 100 miles on my bike but settled for 85 after finding out my map and directions were a little short.

I ate about 20,000 calories this week (2,800per day) but burned almost 7,000 more than I took in. I should be 1-2 lbs lighter today but it has not yet appeared on the scale. I know that it might take 2 or even 3 weeks for it show up us my body flushes the Christmas junk.
