8:32 1st quarter. Penalties cost Dogs big again. Reshad Jones had caused a fumble which Georgia recovered but the play was overturned because Akeem Dent was called for roughing the passer. A pretty cheap call, in my opinion, because Dent had his hand up to block the screen pass and it happened to hit John Parker Wilson’s facemask. Not that hard either. But the rule is you can’t hit a QB about the helmet with hands… .

So instead of Georgia ball it was first-and-10 Bama at the Dogs 12. They scored on Mark Ingram 7-yard run two plays later.

I really get tired of all the personal fouls in college football today. They need to let these kids play a little more. No one comes out to see refs throw there little orange flags around.

That said, it was only a matter of time before these stupid penalties came home to roost on the dawgs. You cant make mistakes like that if you want to be an elite team. It’s absurd at this point.

Once again a penalty helps Georgia’s opponent. DT Brandon Wood called for roughing the passer to get Bama to the 13 first-and-10. Defense bowed but 8 plays, 60 yards on the drive… .

Starting MLB Dannell Ellerbe has not returned to game. Riding a stationary bike on the sideline… .

Other than limiting Tide to that field goal the game could not have gotten off to a worse start for Dogs. Reminds me a lot of last year in Tuscaloosa in the inverse.

Before the game started, it was known that Alabama should dominate the Dawgs on the offensive and defensive lines…. I just didn’t think they would dominate us this bad…. Down 24-0, we need a lot to go our way in order to come back, meaning getting turnovers and stopping them on 3rd down….. Long way to go, but so far, nothing is working for the Dawgs…

I am about to turn a UGA game off for the first time ever. This is totally embarrassing and I am sooo tired of Saint Richt and his lack of discipline on this team. He might be a great recruiter, but he consistently comes up short with regard to game day coaching and preparation and he is getting his a* handed to him by a real college football coach. UGA consistently commits stupid penalties and that’s coaching and preparation and I’m tired of it. I thought he showed some signs of getting some stones last year but I guess I was wrong. I am just so tired of Richt getting a pass all the time.

Worst beating I’ve ever seen Georgia take at home. Last time they fell behind this bad at home was in 1999 against Auburn. Georgia lost that one 38-21… .

Of course Georgia trailed W. Va. 28-0 in the second quarter in the 2006 Sugar Bowl. Lost that one, too, but it was 38-35… .

The good news is even though we may not win tonight, we still control our own destiny in the East division. Florida went down, UT has 2 conf. losses. So while congrats to bama may be in order tonight, the season is not over by a long shot.

Georgia is successful defensively when they can pin their ears back and get after the quarterback. Alabama is running so much more than they are throwing that it’s impossible to blitz. That said, Willie Martinez is being embarrassed again as he usually is once or twice a year. Now the goal needs to be try to make the score closer so Georgia doesn’t fall so far down the polls. What a shame that the defensive coordinator can’t get this team more prepared.

This game should have been close. UGA simply didn’t show up. The score does not indicate that they are overrated or a bad team. All teams have experienced this at one time or another. I might “go to my own board” since I’m an LSU fan but UGA has done nothing but smack talk us since we went to the BCS NC in January and they have whined ever since. It was a very pleasant surprise, make that a pleasant shock, to see the Gators fall to Ole Miss by one point (Tebow - your ego and vanity always comes back to bite you in the butt and it’s biting you now). Ooops, have to go right now, LSU scored again. It wasn’t pretty but it is a TD! And I wish the announcer would stop saying a ball thrown to LaFell that was intercepted caused us to lose against Auburn last year. We did not lose to Auburn last year! As for the comments about “us” going to our own boards, you prefer to talk bull for about 9 months now about other teams especially LSU without them responding? Kind of surprised Georgia settled for a short field goal there, down 31 points at home. But they did so now the Dogs are on the scoreboard just a few minutes into the third.

Since PMR [Pimp Mark Rictus] is in so tight with the Lord, the Lord God, the Lord & Saviour Jesus X. Christ, why did his Lord forsake him and let him be so humilated on national tv?
