I have no problem if there is a separate family boarding. I do support having a family section on the plane. I think every parent should experience little dancing feet on the back of their seat for hours on end!

Flying? I’ll drive 8 hours first. I LOVED to be up in the air, but I used to joke that they have taken all the fun out of flying and will soon paint over the windows for those of us who enjoy the view. Now, they are too cheap to run the AC, and ask that the shades stay down instead. Like hell!

I’ve found that it’s adults who make flying uncomfortable. Whether it’s the knees in my back for eight hours on more than one flight or the heavy man who put all his weight on his seat in front of me when he had to go to the bathroom, the old woman who watched comedies all night on a transatlatic flight and thought every scene was so funny she just had to laugh or the guy who had too much wine to drink and had to get up half a dozen times from his window seat. Flying is to be endured so I can make it to my destination.

Children are rarely a problem. In fact, it’s the parents who make things more difficult. Maybe children should be entertained by the rest of the passengers while the parents get an isolated section all to themselves.

Everyone on flights need to realize they’re not in their own living rooms and some behavior is better left at home. At least try to preserve the illusion that you’re not a total wanker.
