Hotel Victor and the Delano are both immaculate hotels!! They are great vacation destinations if your not tight on cash because it sure is pricey down there!! But I will say I have had some of the best times of my life in SOBE :)

Hyatt Beach House Key West. It is on the quiet side of the island for those who just want to relax but still close enough to get to the action quickly.

My vote is for ‘Tween Waters Inn, Captiva Island but I don’t remember it on Captiva but on another island accessible only by boat in the pine island area. It was the stuff dreams are made of. A long boat ride made it almost ethereal - not your usual transportation. Because it was off the beaten path made it really special. The food was great and drinks to write home about. Everything seemed almost perfect - and then you had to leave and go home. Very unusual and just wonderful in a relaxed atmosphere. Thanks for the memory trip.

Tween waters inn and cabbage key are OK,The Tarpon Lodge is great. The absolute most fantastic place I know about is, I really should keep quiet about it, is Cayo Costa. Back in the 70s and early 80s we lived in Bokeelia Fl.near Cayo Costa and visited almost every week and camped at least once a month. Now we live in the atlanta area but we still visit 3 or 4 times a year, its the subject of my daydreams almost every day. I wish I were there now cooking my fish on a stick over the fire. Its as close as you can get to being a castaway, there almost never a crowd but if you go on a week day theres a chance you can have the island to yourself, thats really nice. theres park rangers but you might never see them.OH yeah, theres wild hogs and some wild horses, decendents of horses & hogs left by the Spaniards centries ago.hurricane Charlie did some damage a couple of yrs. ago but 99% of it has grown back.
