Not sure what’s next for Hillary Clinton
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Denver — We are entering the final day of the 2008 Democratic National Convention, which will culminate with Barack Obama’s acceptance for the Democratic Party’s nomination for president of the United States of America.
When a bruising primary season crowned Obama the presumptive nominee, Hillary Clinton supporters immediately were concerned about how their candidate would be treated at the DNC and during the general election.
Many Clinton supporters argued that Hillary should be Obama’s VP pick, but when that didn’t happen the nation turned its attention to Denver to see what Clinton’s role at the convention would be.
With many Clinton supporters still wary of Obama, it was obvious what Hillary Clinton had to accomplish when she addressed the convention Tuesday night. She had to rally her supporters behind Barack Obama so that Democrats would leave the convention unified and ready to elect him in November, no matter who they voted for in the primaries.
Clinton’s speech was well received by her audience, however was it enough to unify the party? Will former Hillary supporters who have vowed to cast their vote for McCain shift their support to Senator Obama? What do you think is next for Hillary Clinton’s political career?

Joshua…….you need to read the bio of Richard Nixon & learn some political history……RMN sets the blueprint for Hillary..Nixon lost to JFK & even as a private citizen, Nixon spent the next four years collecting political IOUs, & globeTrotting. After McCain is sworn in the MSM will give Hillary more attention thsn the president. The MSM will fall in love with HRC again. HRC will collect IOUs & widen her base of 18 Million-plus.

I my opinion Joshua, her speech was perfectly orchestrated to allow herself to be percieved as the gracious looser. This was done because she still has her eye on the presidency in 4 years - which means that inside she expects Obama to lose. She did not say one word praising Obama. In that, I guess, she retained some faction of honesty; because, she was certain that he was NOT presidential material during the primary. Her husband however walked all over his previous bad words on Obama in the name of Unity. In that he was not honest (wait a minute, your post on Bill has not arrived… guess we’ll discuss him later)
by the way young man, your writing is very impressive. you are certainly opening avenues for your future…. keep it up…

Hillary supporters who are still vowing to vote for McCain follow no form of reasoned thought processes, they are emotional, bitter and vindictive to the point of self-destructive, and possibly and likely racist. The Clinton’s plea for the staunch supporters to follow with them in support of Obama is sincere and with great reason and much reasoned thought. The pantsuit brigade was her targeted audience when she asked for their allegiance to be directed to the goals of the Democratic Party, not to putting her (a female) in the White House. It’s easy to see that the die hards are made up of crazed feminists and others simply afraid of skin color and a name.

Senator Hillary is a great speaker. She has delivered probably the most difficult speech yet in her life. Anyhow, I will request an absentee ballot and my hero Senator Hillary will be written on the ballot as my choice for president. That is an idea for those that believe in Senator Hillary!!!
