What do you think of Tammy Faye Messner?

Tammy Faye and Jim Bakker rose to prominence in the 1970s and ’80s on their Christian talk show, “The PTL Club.” Then, in 1987, their ministry collapsed amid sexual and financial scandals that eventually landed Jim in prison.

Tammy Faye eventually returned to television. Her combination of disarming frankness, undying cheerfulness and self-deprecating humor won her a new host of fans.

What do you think of her rise, fall and return to the airwaves?

What’s next for Vick, Falcons?

We’re re-opening commenting on the Michael Vick indictment. Today, we want to ask, what do you think the Falcons will do?

Should they ride the legal storm out, hoping their $130-million quarterback can avoid jail time and a long-term NFL suspension? Is the investment too great to simply cut bait?

Or is it time to move on, and with whom as quarterback? Joey Harrington? Dante Culpepper?

How would you fix Grady?

Grady Memorial Hospital is in a financial crisis. A task force recently released a report predicting Grady Health System will shut its doors, flooding other Atlanta hospitals with a “patient tsunami” of indigent patients unless its governing system is overhauled and it lines up new funding sources.

One idea is to add $1 to the 911 surcharge on phone bills to pay for trauma care at hospitals like Grady.

What do you this of this idea? Do you have other suggestions?
