Moose loose tonight
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Johan Hedberg gets his first start of the season in net as the Thrashers play their eighth game, at Boston. It will be interesting to see how he does after sitting out so long; his only action of 2008-09 aside from 3:37 at Florida when Kari Lehtonen lost a contact lens.
Hedberg, who appeared in 36 games last season, is likely to get a lot less action this year.
Thrashers coach John Anderson said Marty Reasoner is available for today’s game. Anderson declined at a 5 p.m. meeting with the media to say which skaters he’ll scratch from tonight’s lineup.

Watched last night game and while a win would have been nice I am more impressed with the composure and character of Coach Anderson and the team. They never gave up.
I just wonder whats going on with Kovy.

Tough game tonight. Bs played Thursday night at home (and lost to TO) so they will be rested, determined, tough and looking for 2 in regulation against a team they probably figure is weaker than them.
Time to show this year’s team can compete in back-to-backs on the road.

BAD ICE: The ice at TD Banknorth Garden was marked incorrectly, with the two face-off dots 24 feet from the goal line rather than the regulation 20 feet required by the NHL. The error occurred Sept. 9 but wasn’t noticed until Saturday morning. As a result, the NHL mandated that the teams switch ends at the first stoppage in play after the 10-minute mark of the third period so neither team would be at an advantage or disadvantage. The ice sheet will be replaced before the Bruins’ next home game Nov. 1, arena officials said in a release issued by the team.

We got hammered 18 shots to 6 and goals 3 to 1 in the 2nd. Whew, I hope they have the legs to finish strong tonight. Hope they score anothe PP right away.
I thought the call on Toby and the non-call for the Thornton dive really sucked, that just seemed like homer calls to me….but I’m seeing it biased, maybe.
Oh, the FO circles being off 4’ are really noticable! How could that ever go w/o being seen from Sept. 9th? Amazing.

4-4. Kozlov got the goal, but Armstrong made it happen, with a centering pass after getting the *&^% knocked out of him and the helmet knocked off him. He looked woozy as he left the ice but somehow steadied himself to make the pass first.

First order of business: Dump Moose and What’s-His-Name immediately. Neither one of these frauds has a damn bit of talent! **Send Coach John Petrino packing. The guy is a loser! Unload Ilya “Bags Are Packed” Kovalchuk to any deluded team which STILL thinks he is worth a damn! Thrasher defense laughable! Thrasher offense far below average. Goaltending? What damn goaltending? No, this bunch has no pride, heart, guts, fire, balls, desire or talent! Sad to say this unit of scum barf bags represents Atlanta in the NHL. Can we bring the original Flames back? Playoffs, Mr Petrino? When Hell freezes over. The losing streak lives on. The Thrashers are in the cellar to stay. Oh apologists, yjese WERE NOT the unbeatable Red Wings. GO FALCONS!

No, stendec. You were right on cue. You exploded all over the place, and you continue to do so.
Please, change the record or something, because the one you’ve currently got on the turntable is broken.
The difference is, I don’t explode. I try to think rationally about the game. Your tired and bored commentary is an explosion of something. People might call it emotion, but I’ll refer to it as a bunch of filth grappled up in tired hands and thrown across the computer screen like a “modern art” project.

Wow, for an elderly man you sure have nailed the term “juvenile”.
Your stuff used to be funny, but this year it’s already become pathetic.
