Framed by Chinese hackers

Do you have a digital picture frame - used to display your photos without the use of a computer? If you do, you may have a big problem.

Chinese hackers have planted a stealthy program in some of the frames made there. The purpose: To steal your passwords.

The frames in question seem to have been sold at Sam’s Club, Best Buy, Target and Costco.

Here’s a link to the story.

Not a pretty picture.

The stealth program that Chinese hackers have implanted also has a trick cookie attached to it that draws a moustache on the digital picture of your mother or wife or sister. This is worse than stealing any passwords as it makes visitors think that you’re either Italian, or an Islamist Terrorist (or gay).

But there is a chink in the Chinese cyber-armor, and with a simple fix of hitting the delete, alt, and control button at the same time you cap-lock, tab, and press F6, then the chinese worm is deleted.

Of course a half hour later you have to repeat the process, but it works pretty good.

sign, Bill Gates.
