An HDTV just right for sports

As I keep trying to explain to my wife, an HDTV that is fine for watching something unimportant - like a movie - may not be perfect for watching something important, like sports.

Finally I’m getting some reinforcements. Cnet has a complete section on tech for sports — you can find information on gadgets used to help you workout, tips for online fantasy leagues, even the best way to equip yourself for jogging.

But, it also includes reviews of the best HDTVs for watching sports … what a deal.

You can click here to take a look at the complete package.

This jock I dated in college later tested postive for HDTV. Should I not be doing sports or anything?

I don’t think so… an HDTV you can’t watch sports on is just a crappy HDTV. There are so many cheap and bad ones on the market now that people have a tough time finding a good one - that’s the problem.

Walmart and Circuit City has numerous LCD or plasma HCTV’s and the prices are going down all the time. LCD is better I believe in the long run but always get at least a 33 inch flat screen HCTV and get a stand for the TV to sit on. Circuit City even will come out and set it up but you will have to call your cable company to install the cable signal.
