A new PC for $100?

PC prices keep dipping - pretty soon you’ll spend more for a fill-up than you would for a new computer.

But a $100 PC?

Well, you guessed it, there’s a catch. Check out this video.

Even with the catch, PC Magazine thinks the concept has potential.

Hey Bill,

We believe that your links to the May 30th, 2007 Blog is not working.

Anyway, speaking of this $100 PC…its too good to be true.

About 1 minute 43 seconds into the 6 minute video, we discovered that this computer would be apart of your Broadband Internet Connection with a Internet Service Provider (ISP).

Which means you end up paying a subscription fee for the device and you must be online to get a portion of it or all of it to function.

Even though it has a linux type operating system….I would be very conservative in recommending this device.

Furthermore, I would recommend due diligence on the development of the concept.

Plus, privacy regarding files is at question.

Just a thought.
