What gadgets do you crave?
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
There are all sorts of things - including gadgets - that I really want.
That’s why I was surprised, when I read the Cnet.com list of most wanted gadgets, that few of the gadgets I lust for were included.
Some of the top 20 on Cnet were fairly obvious - HDTV (I have one) and the Apple iPhone (I don’t want one, I don’t even enjoy carrying my regular cellphone) - and some caught me by surprise.
But none of them hit my “want” button. Take a look and feel free to post if there are gadgets that you crave that weren’t included on the list.

Those Jawbone bluetooth headsets are nice.
I’m pretty much broke, so any of those things would be cool for me, save for Zone Alarm (wtf?).
I’m craving a Harman Kardon Drive+Play2.

The gadget I need most is a good GPS, I’m directionally challenged. The gadget I want most is a fine telescope (I have a small Scmidt-Cassagrain telescope - but I’d love to have a modern big scope with GPS tracking)

A nice GPS is definitely a must. Another device not on that list (that doesn’t exist yet) is an Apple MacBook Pro with a TV tuner…basically a Mac notebook version of the Windows Media Center PCs. Even if the tuner is external, I would love a device like that.
I would want an iPhone if I hadn’t just bought a new RAZR and if the storage was more than 4 or 8 GB. That won’t even hold my entire CD library.

I want a version of my Fossil Abacus PalmOS watch that holds a charge for more than two days. I have to recharge this darn thing every night!
