E-mail: A firing offense

Being a propeller head is a dangerous business. Just sending e-mail can get a guy fired. And, uh oh, blogging increases your risk of losing your job.

Luckily the blogging danger comes from employees who blog while at work. Not me. I hardly ever go there.

There’s an interesting study online here that says, among other things, that 26% of employers have fired workers for e-mail misuse. It makes for interesting reading, especially since most of us do use work e-mail for personal purposes at times.
