I know there are many fans out there, like myself, who are out of state or are too far from Clarke County to attend today’s game. My plans are to catch up with a GT buddy at a place called Mulligan’s in Longwood Florida.
Where are you watching the game today and what are your predictions?
Before I hit the road en route to the Orlando area I’ll leave you with the following thoughts…
Oh well it’s up with the White and Gold
Down with the Red and Black
Georgia Tech is out for the victory
We’ll drop the battle axe on Georgia’s head
When we meet her, our team is sure to beat her
Down on the old farm there will be no sound
Till our bow-wows rip through the air
When the battle is over, Georgia’s team will be found
With the Yellow Jackets swarming around.

I’ve got my Dwyer Jersey on and ready to hit a sports bar. Going to a bar called JP looneys in Greensboro. Was looking for a good sports bar and almost made the trip to Raleigh where sports bars are more like the ones in Atlanta.
It should be the main game at noon I would assume. The sound will not matter as the entire game will be UGA biased being the SEC homer covered by CBS.
Got a lot a of sports analysts picking us over the Dogs. I like what I have been hearing from the players and even the ACC fans who know nothing about football give us no chance. But that is how I like it. I want everyone to be shocked when we go in there and take care of business…..To Hell with Georiga!!

Good chance for Tech to grab a win, they better take it, because,the fact that they have a good coach now,will not automatically mean Lots and Lots of wins vs UGA.
Football don’t work like that.
Three wins per decade would be good.
Four means CPJ is the next Bear Bryant.
More than Four? C’mon. Please.

Congratulations to Tech! You guys played one heck of a game. You were the better team. You should be very happy with Paul Johnson. He is a great coach. Good luck in the bowl, and we will get you next year. GO DOGS!

bamadawgsc- Thanks very much. I’ll start looking for less-commented articles more often now. It seems that the civility level decreases with number of comments.
It was good to break that streak to get the focus back to one game at a time in this series. It will be nice to have a competitive rivalry again.
Best of luck in your bowl, too. SEC-ACC is fun to talk about amongst ourselves, but we have to stick together against the Big-whatevers.

Shout out to out of state fans? Aren’t they ALL out of country fans. I’ve been around the campus before and didn’t see many people looking like their parents were born in America. Lots of Indians, Saudi’s, and Chinese…but that’s it.
Well, here’s a shout out to them. Go Jackets! Beat those dirty capitalist pigs from Athens!!!!! Get em’!

I think BamaDawgSC and Charlotte Jacket should get a room. BamaDawgSC, are you really giving props to a bunch of band geeks that don’t deserve our warm p** if they were on fire? Jesus Christ(whom Tech thinks just arrived)! Pretty soon they’ll think they belong at the cool table. THEY DON’T. They belong in their “own” area. Don’t get them thinking it is safe to peak their head out of hiding.
Don’t show any class b/c they don’t show any to us. These are the same people that refused to change the scoreboard when Bobo threw the last second TD pass to Allen. These are the same people that threw fish at Notre Dame when they played them on Friday in 1980.
do you actually respect a GT program that calls me for season tickets b/c I bought a pair a few years ago dirt cheap to attend the Georgia game at the Joke by Coke? Good god! THEY ARE STILL CALLING ME! OH GOD, I’M GOING TO MAKE ONE CRY ONE DAY AS SOON AS i GET ONE THAT DOESN’T HAVE AN ASIAN ACCENT I CAN UNDERSTAND!
You don’t have to be some condescending prick like me(I enjoy it)…but please don’t make them think they belong. They don’t. It was one freak year where we had players that were soft and can’t tackle. Don’t let them believe. Please don’t.
