No fear of an upset

I’ve heard the chatter about the Tech-Troy game — Troy’s got a great QB… they’ll spread you out with their receivers… tons of speed… two big corners that can guard Calvin… they gave Florida State all they could handle…

I’m not buying it.

We are too good to make this a close game. The only way we win by less than 10 points is if we turn the ball over four times like FSU. Besides, that was clearly a sandwich game for the Seminoles (Miami-Troy-Clemson).

We have too much speed, size, skill, and depth for these guys. I’m glad we’re not taking them lightly, because that’s when you get your head handed to you. Still, I’m seeing a decisive victory for the Jackets.

I say Tech 35-17.

I’d agree with that… 35-17 sounds almost right… I’d probably guess 32-13… Gailey puts in the second and third strings against his old team when they’re down 32-6, the score a td late. Let’s go Jackets! The only team that’s going to be upset is Troy after running their mouths off about their band for the last week.

Ball passes for 225 yards, Choice finally has a big game with 100+ yards, Calvin only plays first half and catches 6 with 2 TD. Tech shows up on defense again with 1 int. and 1 fumble recovery and only allow 150 total yards. 35-3 at half and 45-10 final score. Troy scores because of a long kickoff return.

If you are going to bet this one, take Troy & the 18 points. Troy will play better than you think. IE 1960.

I don’t expect the 2nd or 3rd teamers to see the field (barring any injuries) on Saturday. That’s not to say that the game will be a nail biter. I just think Gailey won’t take a chance of letting Troy get back into the game against the B team. Samford was out manned at every position. Troy will be out manned at most positions, but they have some speed and Tech won’t take it for granted even with a big lead. That being said, with Troy winging it all over the field, I see plenty of opportunities for turnovers like last weekend. I say Tech gets one defensive TD to go with 4 offensive ones. 35-10.

Who goes all the way back to 1960? All the players from back then are in their 60’s.

Troy will not be able to stop the Calvin Johnson show. Calvin Johnson may be the best receiver I’ve ever seen.

Wow, you bugs fans are unreal! I could see you talking $h!t with FSU, UGA, or Miami fans, but T-R-O-Y????? Well, I guess it makes sense, when you finish 7-5 annually and are 3rd dog in the state (behind UGA and Ga. Southern), it gives you great priveledge to stoop so low as to talk smack with Troy! What losers!

I hope br gets in my way so I can run over him on my way to claim some of the hedges after we stomp UGAy this year. Now the fleabags schedule is the biggest joke in the SEC…Play SOMEBODY!!!!!

UT will pound you mutts in the ground since you have no idea what it’s like to play someone better than Parkview HS.

All this smack from the fan of a team that has victories over Troy and Samford? From the team that got beat by ND who got smacked down by the only good team THEY have played this year. Ramble ON, you continuously prove that you are a true idiot. Keep it up moron. You reinforce every stereotype out there about Tech fans.

It’s called “bragging rights”,…something Tech has not earned since 2000! So, all those little “stomp UGAy” comments are a complete joke,….just like your senior QB!!
