Does Tech have Miami’s number?
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
If past results mean anything, Georgia Tech is in good shape Thursday.
The Jackets have won three straight over the Hurricanes, seven of the last nine.
And as Craig Handel of The News-Press in Fort Myers, Fla., points out, the last three games have all been painful for Miami.
Tech’s 14-10 win in 2005 cost Miami a chance to reach the ACC title game.
Tech’s 30-23 win in 2006 started the Canes on a four-game skid that took them out of ACC contention.
Tech’s 17-14 win last year cost Miami a bowl game.
Now Miami comes to town controlling its own destiny in the Coastal Division.
CPJ was asked yesterday whether Tech’s recent success gives the Jackets an edge.
“I don’t know. I think that’s water under the bridge,” he said. “They have a lot of different players and we have a lot of different players. We have had success against them defensively for the last couple of years. Last year was a hard-fought game down there, so I wouldn’t put too much stock in that. Both teams are different this year in that they have a different defensive coach and we have a whole different staff.”
Tech ranks eighth nationally with 251 rushing yards per game. Miami ranks 19th nationally in rushing defense, allowing 107 yards per game.
Ranked No. 23, Miami is on a five-game winning streak. The Canes are healthier than Tech, despite the Jackets’ extra rest. And if the game comes down to a field goal, Miami probably has the edge there.
Sophomore Matt Bosher nailed three field goals last week against Virginia Tech and is 16-for-18 this season. He’s a Lou Groza Award semifinalist.
Tech’s three-game win streak over Miami might not be all that relevant on Thursday, but it has to give the Jackets confidence.
How much of a factor do you think it will be?

It appears the weather might prohibit an outdoor Tickle pile this Thursday. We are attempting to work with the administration to move inside. We’ll keep everyone posted on what is decided. Don’t worry we’ll get something worked out. We know a Yellow Jacket victory without a Tickle Pile is anti “climatic”.

Biggest factor is the health of Nesbitt. If Jaybo starts Miami will put everybody and their brother in the box forcing him to throw. We need the defense to create turnovers. This will be a low scoring game.

The news about Nesbitt has me furious. I blame the coaching staff for rushing him back or allowing him to convince them that he was ready for UNC.
This seals our fate for the remainder of the regular season. We will lose to UM and UGA and face another trip to the Humiliation bowl.
It’s good enough for us. Maybe we will learn to think strategically in the future. Nesbitt should have been held out of the UNC game, a game that was a long-shot to begin with and given the extended week to get fully healthy for UM and UGA.
This is terrible. I have tickets for the UM game and was planning to drive the 3 hours to the game and spend a night in Atlanta to be there. I’m ditching my tickets and saving myself the trouble.
Don’t talk to me about Jaybo and don’t talk about the UGA game. We have just sealed our fate for another 7-5 year, losing the last 3, and getting sent to the blue carpet and more humiliation.
Being a Tech fan means getting kicked in the crotch on a consistent basis. I’m tired of it!!!!

For the life of me, I can’t understand how we are favored by 3.5 points in this game. We are playing against the hottest team in the conference with a starting a quarterback that, at best, is less than 100% and at worst, is a true freshman.
I hope the bookmakers are correct but I would be hard pressed to be laying points on this game.
Our defense needs to play their best game of the season and whoever is at quarterback needs to HOLD ON TO THE BALL! If we give Miami a short field, this game will get out of hand in a hurry.
GO JACKETS! THWG!

No, I don’t think the recent success against Miami gives us an edge, beyond the fact that they’ve had some sub-par years and lost their swagger overall.
To Not a beeliever: Sorry, but I’ll trust the coaching and training staff before you on this one. If you thought that UNC game was a long shot you didn’t watch the same game I did. If we don’t play without 4 of our starting 5 o-line and, as usual, make critical fumbles, that game was more than winnable. I’m glad we don’t have a coaching staff who thinks we should mail one in because a game isn’t winnable.

The 3 game win streak is nothing but a confidence booster for a pregame speach. These next 2 games basically come down to our turnovers. We can withstand 1 turnover and maybe 2 if we have some take aways. If Nesbitt isn’t 100%, we need to save him for the UGA game. We are not going to be lucky enough to beat UM and have UNC, UVA and VT all lose. So the UM win means very little. SAVE NESBITT! Get Jaybo and Booker ready and change the game plan accordingly.

If I’m not mistaken, Nesbit hurt his other ankle in the UNC game not the one that was injured vs. FSU. A true competitor wants to be in the game. I am proud that GT has a quarterback that wants to compete. It is a shame that he seems injury prone this year. I guess it comes with the territory of running the option offense.

I didn’t say to mail one in because a game isn’t winnable. You always put your best team on the field for every game and do your best to win with that squad.
However, the success or failure of a season always rests on the compilation of work, NOT on one game (unless it’s the UGA game). What I said was that we’ve got to think past the end of our noses. You’ve got 3 games left in the year and you’ve got a hobbled QB and a beat up offensive line. Get your QB well!
Yes, I watched the game. I saw Nesbitt working at 3/4 speed from the start. Playing at less than 100 percent only leads to more injuries. Nesbitt was NOT ready for that game.
and….Mr. Ramble On, KISS MY AZZZ.

Not a beeliever - yet, you’re an idiot. Mainly because Nesbitt’s hurt ankle is NOT the one he had previously injured. It was a new injury during the game that happens and was not a re-injury of his already hurt ankle.
And if you don’t want your tickets, feel free to send them my way. Maybe I can find a few people off the street that can actually stand behind a team instead of turning their backs.

We are in a tough spot. If Josh plays, he could get hurt preventing him from playing in a more important game on the 29th. If he doesnt play, then we could lose. I think if Josh was fully healthy, we would win.
This isnt easy for me to say, but we need to rest Josh.
Im shocked that we wont have a sold out game. Miami has a huge fanbase in Atlanta, and this is a Thursday night game. How is this game not sold out?

Tired of “negative comments”? Then stay off of blogs. You guys sound like the brainless University of Tennessee fans that used to call in the post-game radio show and make such insightful comments as “I’m Jethro from Maryville, TN, and I just wanted to say “Go Big Orange!”
Just because someone has a differing point of view or asks a pointed question doesn’t mean that they are “negative.” Sometimes they are the most concerned and devoted fans of the program.
We’ve got a lot of pie-eyed optimists on these blogs who want to read continuous entries of how everything is going to be okay and that CPJ is going to pull a miracle out of his bag. I honestly hope that we pull out wins against UM and UGA.
I believe that Coach Johnson has made major strides toward improving the program. I look forward to the future. However, I fear that we’ve made some decisions toward the end of this year that could have cost us the chance to have made it an even better year than it turned out to be.

You are right. Nesbitt’s ankle injury was not a recurrent injury and if you will read my previous post, I didn’t say that it was.
However anyone who has played sports on a bad ankle/knee knows that it just puts that much more pressure on the other leg. Nesbitt’s previously injured ankle was NOT fully healed and made him susceptible to the injury that he sustained.

Just FYI everyone….GT is not eligible for the Humanitarian Bowl. Been there within the last 3 years. ACC retains rights to alter bowl picks to place teams to where they don’t have to make west coast trips to the same bowl within a 3 year span.
If GT wins out they are going to the Gator Bowl. Any other combination and they will be in the Music City, Meinike, or Champs Bowl. Chickfila is also not an option as it is very doubtful that they will finish as the #2 pick from the ACC even if they win out. UNC and VT would have to lose their remaining two games. UNC plays NC State & Duke while VT plays Duke & Virginia both at home.
If GT beats Miami, VT should win the Coastal regardless of what UNC does since VT holds the tie-breaker over UNC & GT. A GT win would place them in a 3rd place finish in the Coastal behind VT & UNC. A GT loss would put Miami in the drivers seat and put GT in a tie with Virginia for fourth. UVA most likely will lose to VT at VT leaving GT as the 4th place team in the Coastal.
A lot of scenarios but none that would put Tech in an ACC tie-in bowl out west.

Not a beeliever: I again will defer to the training/coaching staff on whether a player’s health is being put at risk. My criticism was your pessimism that the UNC game was a long shot, as if they’re some juggernaut. That game was within reach, as was every loss we’ve had this year. I understand your point that the season matters, not the individual games. But the season is made up of individual games, and there isn’t a game left on our schedule that I will assume to be a loss, including UNC last week or Thursday night against Miami. I’m glad our coaching staff has the same attitude. It’s not your logic I’m criticizing, it’s your pessimism.

I’m reading tea leaves, but I’d say there’s a good possibility Nesbitt doesn’t play. And it is correct that Nesbitt sprained his right ankle against Florida State and his left against North Carolina. Beeliever’s supposition that he got hurt against the Tar Heels because he was already hurt is certainly possible, but I don’t know if I’d make the connection unless I were Nesbitt, his coach or his trainer. But if Tech or any football team waited until its players were 100 percent before getting them on the field, then there’d probably be no offensive or defensive linemen on the field.
I’ll encourage everyone to maintain a tone of civility. Beeliever has a right to his opinion and while we’re free to disagree, let’s avoid flaming each other, and that goes for Beeliever, as well.

Does anyone remember that we had over 450 yards of offense againist Duke with Jaybo at the helm? During the Duke game, the game announcer commented that Jaybo ran the offense like a senior. Josh is a great runner; however, Jaybo does a better overall job of running the triple option. I welcome Jaybo starting Thursday.
Let Josh fully heal and we should have both quarterbacks ready for Georgia. With or without Josh we beat Miami.
Miami is an exciting game in that we could be 8 and 3 and still have an outside shot of winning the division. I wouldn’t be driving 6 hours from Destin if I didn’t think we had a good shot of winning the game.

By the way…the 10:10am post was someone else posting with my handle…real classy.
Good post, Mr. Sugiura. You are right. We need to maintain an air of civility on the post. For my part, I apologize to Mr. Ramble On for my “KMA retort.” I was out of line. I am sorry.
I figured that someone would get around to calling me a UGA fan posing as a Tech fan (thanks to “sage” for making that prediction come true)
My supposition that Nesbitt’s current injury comes from my observation that he (while not very noticeably limping at the beginning of the UNC game), appeared to be not at full speed. Yes, it is a supposition on my part that the earlier injury contributed to the current one. I think it’s one that’s backed up with evidence and experience.
Mr. Ramble On, at least real fans BUY tickets. 3 Seats down low in the upper east stands and a parking pass didn’t come cheap. A day and a half off of work to drive to Atlanta and stay overnight after a late night game is also a sacrifice.
Challenge my standing as a “real fan” if you’d like. I’ve followed the program since I was a kid growing up in Atlanta (born there). I have a GT diploma on the wall that says I have all the rights and privileges of a graduate of the Institute (you may read the fine print on your diploma and find those same words). I take that to include pointing out when I think they have made a bad decision.

Another reason Tech would not be invited to play in the CFA bowl in Atlanta? Lack of ticket sales. If Tech cannot fill their own small stadium for a prime time, nationally televised game against “The U”, no way will they sell enough tickets to please the Atlanta Sports Council and the CFA bowl. Can’t blame the bowl guys for that. All of ya’ll talk all this smack……..back your boys and show up to support them on Thursday night.

EL Gato..su madre has your lunch ready. Run along now and eat. Que Punta!!
For the very juvenile and uninformed bloggers like our Gato. 1990 was the year GT was UNDEFEATED. Colorado was GIFTED a co-championship that never should have been. Given 5 downs to score a TD against Missouri on referee error. The AP voters could have corrected the mistake by punishing Colorado which they didn’t do. 1990 was a black mark on college football and it remains for ever stained by the incident. For those that don’t remember it was nasty and GT went public with the outcry. I blame the AP pollsters as much as I do the refs for the injustice rendered.
Also in 1990, the Citrus was a higher profile bowl than the Orlando bowl is now. At that time the ACC had no major tie-ins. Traditional conference champion matchups dominated the major bowls. GT had no options but to accept the Citrus. They dismantled Nebraska in a game that wasn’t even as close as the score.
Oh yeah, and Miami. Sure they could win but to say they are BETTER on paper well not really sure what paper you are looking at. Let’s see, is this the same Miami team that beat Virginia due to a complete UVA meltdown in the last 5 minutes of the game? Miami could do NOTHING against Virginia’s defense for most of that game. Trust me. Miami strikes no fear in Tech’s players. They respect Miami for sure but IF NESBITT PLAYS EFFECTIVELY they will beat Miami. Miami will have a very hard time scoring in this game unless we don’t protect the ball.
I can’t believe that so many on this blog are downright juvenile idiots. A game can go either way but to get history wrong well you just have to be darn near ignorant.

I was not born in Atlanta (Northern Indiana), and did not go to GT (they don’t have education degrees). I would take your tickets in a heartbeat if I didn’t live 10 hours away. I am disappointed in your outlook of our team because I spend so much time up here defending us. I have to defend the Jackets against Notre Dame fans! If you thought Tennessee fans followed blindly, you haven’t seen anything. Take a 10 hours car ride home with a couple of ND fans after a close lose and you will have a little more loyalty to your team. You can have your opinion and it can be negative, but with so many positives that have happened this year, I ask you to stick it out and stay positive so we can carry on this success in the future. Have some faith. Remember, the sports “geniuses” and Sports Illustrated picked us to be 3-9 this year! Stick with us because I think that you will eventually drop the “not” off of you name!

It shows a lack of loyalty and wekaness of character. The greatest single game I ever went to was a 3-3 TIE with a then # 1 Notre Dame that knocked them out of the National Championship race. We had stunk all year. The game was great because we weren’t expected to even stay in the game and we over came adversity to nearly beat a team that was bigger, stronger, faster, and better financed than we were. I did not give away my tickets, you should go to the game; It has the potential to be a great memory for you. 8,000 seats remain for Thursday’s BIG game against Miami? Are you people that pathetic? You have a little 55,000 seat high school stadium and you can’t see it out on a Thursday night for a huge game? Wow. How proud you must be nerds.

Did anyone notice all of the empty seats at the UM-VT Thursday night game last week??? It looked pretty empty around the top of the stadium when they went to the shots from the blimp.
Official attendance was 46838. Capacity is 76,500 for football.
I don’t hear anyone trashing Miami for not selling out their game.
Even with being 8,000 short of the 55,000 capacity of BDS@HGF, we’ve already got more tickets sold than UM had against Va Tech last week, and we’re expecting another 2000-3000.
Does no good to play in a 76,500 seat stadium (Miami) if you put less fannies in the seats.
Thursday’s game may not sell out, but the seats that will go empty will be around the upper ring of the North Stands and West stands. Unlikely that you’ll see much difference from the TV cameras.

I’m just mad that we failed to take care of business against a basketball school (UNC) and clinch our conference/division. More and more this team is headed to another 7 win season and Boise and that does not sit well with me.
If Nesbitt is out then Shaw will probably fumble at least 2 or 3 times and give the ball right to Miami. Their fans are classless thugs and while I realize there will be more than 8,000 empty seats on Thursday night I do not appreciate their thuggery in Bobby Dodd.
If we don’t beat UgaG then none of this matter.

Actually we can not go to the blue field this year everyone. We will likely end up in the champs bowl but there are other options. There is still a chance to play in the acc champ. We would have to Beat Miama. UNC would need to looses to NC State or Duke and nc state is playing well right now. We wpuld then need either Clemson beat Virginia and then virginia beat virginia tech or duke beat virginia tech and then virginia tech beat virginia. Clemson could pull one out there too so the main problem will be virginia beating virginia tech.

You are an idiot closs of 87. Go hang out with Reuben Houston or get a ride home from the game from Joe Hamilton. Also Miami sold as many tickets as Tech and our stadium is 45 min away from the campus!! Its ok bc well have fun filling your stadium and well be the only ones around after halftime!!!

dwyer, ESPN’s prognosticaor Feldman has us headed to Boise to take on undefeated Boise State. That would give our program some natioal recognition to take on an undefeated Bowl Subdivision school and while I’ve enjoyed snowmobiling in Boise I am NOT looking forward to third trip but I will support this team. I refuse to give up just because of continuous 7-win seasons.
And StaffordLooker, as for you do you support the mutts or the thugs cause I can’t quite put a finger on it.

Miami couldn’t score enough points against the likes of Arkansas to send fans home by halftime. Miami wins with a strong and speedy defense. This game will not be a blowout either way.

Cautious optomism is the byword. Shaw played almost the whole game against Miss. State and we hung up 38 points on a team that held Auburn to 3 points the week before. We also got 27 when Shaw started against Duke. Presumably, he’s been getting a lot of reps in practice since the UNC game and if he goes into the game understanding he will start, I expect him to be ok. If Nesbitt can go, all the better but we can win with Shaw.
As for not a beeleiver, I don’t care if he goes or not.
As for El Gato, no, hablo espanol, compadre.
As for ACC stinks, check the Sagarin conference rankings: Big twelve first, ACC second, SEC third.
Ten ACC teams in the top 43 and all 12 in the top 70. Put another way, twenty five percent of the top 40+ programs in the country are in our little old conference. SEC has seven teams in top 40 and only 9 in top 70, with the bottom feeders in triple digits.
As for Yellowblood, hey, pal, take one for the team and jump off the 72nd floor of the Peachtree plaza. I’ve seen dozens of people call for this guy to be banned from the site. If he won’t jump, at least the AJC can and should yank his privileges to post here.

Tech is in for a shock this Thursday. The Canes D is going to pick up where it left off last week. Jaybo Shaw will be in a stretcher by halftime. Tech’s offense will fizzle out once everybody sees it enough. Tech’s D line is on the way out and so is their future. Tech will get handled this week and next by the Dawgs. 7-5 ain’t that bad though. MIAMI IS COMING YOU BETTER WATCH OUT! PAUL JOHNSON WILL BE DROPPING MORE F BOMBS THAN EVER BEFORE THIS THURSDAY. HE THINKS HE IS SO AWESOME. GO CANES!!

If number 9 doesn’t play then it will get ugly. I’m not trashing Jaybow, but let’s get serious here…. REGGIE was 5 times the QB this kid will ever be. Sorry, but the kid belongs at MTSU or Navy! For coach Johnson to recruit him was as bad as Chan Gailey allowing REGGIE to play QB for four LONG years!

Good grief not a beeliever, I can see why you chose your name. Great Tech fan ditching your tickets. You SHOULD go home you don’t sound like a Tech fan at all. We don’t want your damn negativity, it gives off bad vibes. This is the first year with a new coach and a new style offense, these guys are use to the pro style set and to do what they have done so far is an accomplishment most teams can’t say they have achieved. Your the type of person that I would have to say STFU to at a game. A players parent might be listening and what if that were you kid out there playing?

As a Dawg fan, I really expect for ya’ll (Tech) to beat Miami. Tech’s D is solid and Miami is awful offensively. Get after their young QB’s early and you’ll mentally get them out of the game. Miami’s D is fast but if don’t play sound, assignment football, you’ll run right past them every time.
This might be the last time Miami is not the favorite for the ACC title. Randy Shannon is doing one helluva job bringing “The U” back. His D is almost there……if someone can develop his young QB’s and WR’s, they’ll be hard to beat in the coming years.

That’s right I’m using my real name so that I can be called out. I’ve been to every game, home and away, and so far the only difference I see between Gailey and Johnson is that Johnson runs his mouth and can’t back it up. If you’ve got a problem with that, you know where I can be reached.

My friends in Miami are confident that the Hurricanes will win decisively. The Miami team may be over confident after Tech’s blowout by UNC. It could be a very close game with or without Nesbitt, if Tech’s defense shows up. It didn’t show up, when the game was on the line at VT, Virginia and UNC.

gtforever, totally agree with you about Jaybow Shaw. The kid has no business at a school ranked in the top 40. He has shown a penchant for turnovers and from what I hear from friends on campus is about the most arrogrant freshman on campus since Reggie.
Hopefully CPJ will cuss him out and set him straight.

Should be some big paychecks from the bowls the acc has to play in….LMAO. In the SEC we like to put two teams in BCS games as well as multiple teams playing on Jan. 1. This seems to generate more interest….no need to worry though, we will have a representative from the SEC beat down someone from the acc in the Chick Fil A bowl (as usual). You keep those Sagarin rankings because the entire media is wrong in believing the SEC is the strongest conference….again LMAO!!

El Gato, Miami has out-National Championshiped Tech, 5 NC’s to our 4 NC’s, all-time. Not exactly overwhelming. On the other hand, Tech has whipped the Hurricanes, head-to-head, all-time: 9 wins for Tech, 4 wins for Miami. This one looks like a Miami win, though, if Josh Nesbitt is still limping. to

To answer Larry’s question, our prior dominance in the series (including winning last 3) should not have a significant bearing on this game, other than to demonstrate to the players that UM is beatable at any time. I like that they have shaky QB play, and overconfidence bordering on arrogance. I think their speed can be a problem, but our coaches and players have dealt with that before. I can see us winning this game, but am concerned w/ our QB situation.
To Not a Beeliever: at first I thought you were a UGA fan stirring things up, but now it appears you really believe that we should’ve thrown a game now to maybe win one later. I’ll never understand that logic, and I’m sure most others don’t either. LET’S GO JACKETS, BEAT UM!!!

MoDawg,
I too like to check and see what the geeks are up to some times. I really like when they start spouting off about how “this year” they are going to beat UGA. SOS, different day. Will be same old results Nov. 29 “Insects lose again”. It also appears they like to toss names around to the Miami fans….heard some new ones on the blog….actually got a chuckle out of a few. I think if the nerds have Miami’s number they should call them up and ask them to buy some tickets because apparently the insects are too poor to afford the ticket price for the game. Looks like that architect/city planner degree is not working out. Oh well they still have the belief they are sooooo smart.

It’s simple, if you’ve got better players and coaches, you have their number. Even Chan Gailey’s teams were better than Miami’s, but that’s not true now. By the way, here we go again with musical QB’s, Nesbitt might play or not. You know, you’ve got to know early in the week who’s actually playing. We saw the fiasco at UNC, having neither ready. If he goes into the Miami game with neither ready, then it’s going to be a long day at the flats.

Once again ACC Stinks is on the wrong blog. His complex about the weakness of the SEC this year and lack of a job continues to drive him to the Jackets blog non stop. It makes feel better to talk bad about other peoples actual school of record. This must be the way he digests how averave his beloved Dogs are and the SEC is in general.
The difference between the Gt fans and the idiots like him is simple. We do not claim to be that good. We also do not yell about how great we are compared to the teams that have actually performed to an exceptional level. Please ACC Stiinks one note to you, you use the word “We” when you speak of the SEC and the Dogs. To use the word WE you need to have actually attended a SEC school. It is quite obvious you have never attended any University not along UGA. Even UGA would not have you. Your envy of the graduates of GT becomes more and more evident evry time you spew your garbage on OUR blogs. And yes I have earned the right to use the word OUR in both attending GT and graduating and also having the honor of playing at Tech and beating my friends that played at UGA.

I never advocated throwing a game.
I advocated holding out a player that was, at best, marginally ready to play in a game. I suggested that a factor in the decision should be the overall perspective of the whole season, rather than focusing on the immediate game at hand.
If Nesbitt was really 100 percent ready to play in that game, my point does not apply.
That is a piece of information that only our coaching staff, our trainers, and Josh himself really know.
It’s hard for a tough, talented 20 year-old kid to admit that he’s not ready to play. I think Josh is a good, talented kid that we are lucky to have on our team. I’m glad that he’s got the attitude that makes him want to be on the field any time that he can get out there. I’m not bashing Josh in any way. The kid plays with heart and gave it his very best even after he rolled his other ankle during the game. If he can limp back onto the field on Thursday night, I’m sure that he’d be chomping at the bit to do it.
Surprisingly, the reaction to such a suggestion was similar to a suggestion of burning a flag or spitting on Mom and her apple pie.
The other thing that I dared to say was that although I had invested in tickets to Thursday night’s game and made arrangements to drive some distance to be there, I didn’t care to further my investment to see a game that appears lost before it begins. For that suggestion, I’ve been called an idiot, a coward, a closet Dawg fan, and had my allegiance to my alma mater questioned.
It’s a pleasure to engage in an open exchange of ideas with people of such intelligence.

Let Jaybo Shaw start at QB against UGA, he’s already beaten one SEC team. Matter of fact, Tech beat Mississippi State worse than Bama. At halftime, Mississippi State was still in the game at Bama. Mississippi State was already packing up their gear at halftime at Bobby Dodd Stadium. How could that possibly happen to an SEC team?

This is freaking hilarious….I suppose ESPN did not check the Sagarin rankings and find out the acc was such a powerhouse!! LMAO…. The Atlantic Coast Conference (11) was supposed to be Clemson (12) and a bunch of schmoes. Instead, it’s a bunch of schmoes and a sub-schmo Clemson train wreck. What happened: The Tigers have staggered to a coach-firing 5-5, leaving the league to an indistinguishable muddle of 7-3 and 6-4 teams — one of which will stumble its way into a BCS bowl. Which should assure the ACC of a 10th BCS bowl loss in 11 tries. Only Miami currently is riding anything longer than a two-game winning streak. You can view this on ESPN’s website under NCAA…Pat Forde article. acc, the laughing stock of college football……
