Final pre-Miami thoughts

Gonna keep it short.

Barring the unusual, like a bunch of turnovers or strange special teams plays, if Tech slows the run the way the Jackets did in the first give games (including a major slowdown of Va. Tech’s Branden Ore) and the offense plays the way it can and should, Tech wins.

I don’t know if Chan Gailey really would leave Reggie Ball in if he were to get beat up like last week. Kind of hard to believe that might happen two weeks in a row. Miami’s defense is still very, very fast and athletic. Probably four to six future pros there.

Look out for the tight end. The U likes to use them.

One miss, and Travis Bell is probably out.

A personal plea: Fools are going to post on these blogs. Please, ignore them. Pretend their garbage isn’t even there. You merely encourage them, or justify their existence. Thanks.

Hi Fellas,

The Man is feeling his oats today. He won Employee of the Week at our chicken processing plant. The Man gutted 2,133 chickens this week - a plant record. Guess what? He gets a pay increase to $7.75 per hour!! We’ve hit the Big Time!!! We’re cel’bratin’ tonight abd going to Long Dong (tee-hee) Silver’s for dinner. I crave their fish ‘n chips.

Bye,

Ruby

Matt, why not just post a bullseye with The Man on it and we can all aim for it? Tech rolls today, Ugag gets rolled over! Everything will be right in the world!

Damn The Man,

That cheap li’l SOB stuck me with the check last night at Long John Silver’s. I was washin’ down my third slice of apple pie (burp) and The Man excused himself to go to the potty. Thirty minutes later, I discovered that he had made a break out the men’s room window. BUT, I had the keys to the car, so the li’l gimp had to hobble home to his card board lean-to.

I hope Reggie’s leg is okay. If it isn’t, he’s in for a very tough (but I hope not long)day. Miami’s defense is just as fast as Clemson’s. If Ball can’t elude the pass rush or run effectively, the coaches should go to “Plan B”. Who is calling the substitution shot, Nix or Gailey? Hopefully, Ball is physically well and we won’t have to resort to “Plane B”.
