No one is safe in Falcons’ rebuilding project
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
By the time this is over, when the locker room in Flowery Branch looks like Main St. in Tombstone, there are going to be players and agents who will say that Thomas Dimitroff has blood on his hands.
Don’t listen.
A team falls apart. A franchise crumbles with it. The win column shrinks from 11 to 8 to 7 to 4. Home games slide so far off the radar that the marketing department can’t even fabricate numbers about a season-ticket waiting list any more.
If there is any absolute about the state of the Falcons these days, it’s this: Nobody is indispensable. Some teams have a nucleus to build around. The Falcons barely have an embryo. So if you see suspicious looking wires running from the locker room to Dimitroff’s office, and the general manager pushes down on the plunger as early as today, don’t feel the need to cover your eyes.
You’ve already seen the worst.
You’ve seen the games.
Some general managers have options when they start a rebuilding project. But when you’re looking at a condemned city block, it doesn’t make sense to level every second building. Dimitroff is about to pick the only real option he has: Just level everything and start over.
Don’t think of the Falcons losing so many “good guys.” Think of it as a necessary turning of the page. Arthur Blank, by all appearances, has taken a step back. Dimitroff has assumed construction duties from Rich McKay. Mike Smith is the new coach, replacing some passing apparition from the nether world.
A new structure and a new plan require new heartbeats. Some players will keep their jobs, either because they’re actually pretty good or at least have the potential to be: Michael Boley, Roddy White, John Abraham and Jerious Norwood among them. But most will fall into one of two categories: 1) Bad; 2) Average or below, and possibly not worth what ever they’re being paid. The number of players Dimitroff and Smith keep from the second category depends largely on the draft and what bargains they can find among street free agents
The endangered list reads like the jersey rack at a fans-wear store: Dunn, Brooking, Milloy, Crumpler, Coleman. You know them, you love them, but trust me — you can live without them. If you start to feel bad when the plunger is pushed, just think about the 24-3 loss at Minnesota that opened the season, or the 34-point loss at Tampa Bay, or the 20-point home loss to New Orleans. Think of the second-half collapses that buried playoff hopes in 2005 and 2006.
Yes, there were significant issues: The dog-fighting quarterback. The draft busts. The injuries. An increasingly lax attitude under Jim Mora. Discontentment and disorganization under Bobby Petrino. But when there are so many fizzles and so few victories, it becomes clear that the team lacks more than just talent. It lacks bonding agents. In short, none of the veterans so often cast as leaders were able to lead this team to much.
The Falcons won four games with them. They can win four games without them.
Dimitroff will have nine picks in seven rounds this draft, including four among the first some-100 players taken (pending compensatory picks). They could have a shot at either Arkansas running back Darren McFadden or LSU defensive tackle Glenn Dorsey, or both. Either would be a rarity — a building block.
There is a decision to make on cornerback DeAngelo Hall, who, for all the baggage, probably is the team’s best player. Tight end Crumpler would be the best talent on the offensive side of the ball if he weren’t injured so often. The question is whether it’s worth the risk releasing the tight end, only to suddenly have his knees not creak on another team’s roster.
But beyond a select few, most of these cuts won’t be difficult. Sentimentality became a non-factor a long time ago. Cover your ears, but not your eyes.

I love Warrick Dunn, and he is the best role model the Falcons have, but it’s time to let Jerrious Norwood show what he can do.

I can’t argue with a thing you say, but I do hate to see Keith Brooking go. He is one of those players who should be able to determine his own retirement date.

Sounds like the new guys withing the organization are sick and tired of watching overpaid, underachieveing, and unmotivated Falcon players as well. Brooking has been done for the last two years. He may be the most overrated LB in the league. Dunn gave it all every year he has played for the Falsons, and he is a real pro. But his day as a Falcon is over. Move on Warrick, and the best to you. I hope you go to the Colts and win an Super Bowl. You deserve it. None of the other players mentioned are worth mentioning here. Get ride of the bunch and bring in some new blood, and hopefully Smith can make them hungry to bring a title to Atlanta.

Hi y’all! This was coming, no doubt. Even though we’ve been behind these boys for years, let them go find a good place to end their careers. We are at least three years away, anyone not capable of playing years further is expendable. We need to get the young blood out there, let them make the rookie mistakes and start to comprehend the ways of playing…and winning. DimiSmith is going to have to go thru some tougher times as we tear down what will not carry us into the future. For the aging veterans on this team, I wish you the best. I hope you understand what will be accomplished here.

Dave,
I understand that fans like Keith Brooking’s personality but he should’ve been cut or traded 3 years ago. He has not been an impact player for at least the last 3 years. The Falcons history of being sentimental with average players is the biggest reason we’re in the position we’re in now. That along with the lack of development of talent or lack thereof acquired in the draft….

Keith Brooking should be the 1st player cut. For those butts who don’t see the Deangelo is the best player on our team is blind and biased based upon ignorance. There is NO talent on this team. Period!

Watch they are going to draft a bigger line so they have some beef up the middle get a QB in free agency then Vick will be back in 09 and as a season ticket holder I can’t WAIT!!! Those games were completely boring with out him and showed that he was the bubble gum that held that team together in the first place!!!

Bye, bye Brooking- go drag down RBs 10 yrds down field for another team.
Bye, bye Dunn. Bye, bye Coleman- go ride you SeaDo in celebration. Bye, Bye Crocker- go blow coverage for someone else. Bye, Bye Joe Horn- go love on Vick in prison.
Bye, Bye all of the remaining 275 lb midget lineman on both sides of the line.

It’s somewhat regretable, but it’s absolutely NECESSARY! Dunn, Forney, Weiner, Horn, Crumpler (trade), Roddy (trade), Brooking, Coleman, Milloy, and, yes, Cairo, Hall (trade). Here’s a sure way to learn whether the Birds ought to cut a player: can they trade him for something valuable? is there a MARKET in that player? If the answer is “no,” then CUT HIM! The only players being mentioned who have market value anywhere close to the salary the Falcons are paying them are White and Hall and Crumpler. The rest of them are done.

how many of you critics have ever impacted or played a snap of football. every team needs leaders and role models. these guys might not be the fastest or strongest in the league but the are professional football players and amazing athletes. warrick and keith namely, two hard workers and pure gamers every snap, every play no matter what the score. they are also great men in the community and on the field. so a bunch of young guns like mike vick is not the answer. cut big play ray bucchanon jr, who plays great every other play or when his mouth is shut and mind on the game.

I wish the best for Warrick Dunn. He is a class act, both on and off the field. The Falcons organization has been very privileged to count him as one of their own. I hope that Warrick gets his chance to be on a championship team. I read that Warrick’s desire, if cut by the Falcons, is either to go to Indy to be with Coach Dungy, or return to Tampa. Best to you Warrick. You deserve it!!

Uh…. thanks but no thanks, I think I’ll keep Hall. Even if Hall is this Terrell Owens-Chad Johnson personality who is that big of a distraction to his team, it’s still foolish to cut a shut down corner in his prime (VERY rare in the NFL) without even trying to trade him. If the Falcons trade him for a high draft pick or an established star at another rare position (offensive tackle for example) then fine. But if they cut him, clearly they are as stupid as some of the people posting here.
Everyone over 30 needs to be cut. You don’t rebuild teams with over-the-hill veterans. Goodbye #28, #36, #87, #75, #56, etc. etc. #83 might have something left in the tank — if he agrees to take a pay cut or restructure his deal I’d consider keeping him, otherwise he’s out the door too.
Michael Boley is really the only player on this team who can be built around. They should try to keep him as much as possible, or at least make it very painful for another team to sign him. Every other young player is a good part time player or change of pace player (Norwood) or is useless (Jenkins). Still, since players like that are getting paid rookie salaries, unless you can draft someone better they are worth keeping around in case they become better.
Oh yeah… #7 ain’t 30 yet is he? Nope… keep him. At least for now. At least until the Falcons know how much cap room they need. Like I have said before, it makes zero business sense to cut one of the most talented players to ever play this game without at least seeing what’s left in the tank, or to trade him at his lowest possible trade value.

The key to the rebuilding process is the draft. They already have nine picks this year, and with some smart trades during this draft they could accumulate more picks next year too. This is where Dimitroff has to earn his money. Teams are built from the lines out — no team knows this better than Dimitroff’s old team (Logan Mankins, Vince Wilfork, Ty Warren, Richard Seymour are all linemen and were picked in the first round — Matt Light and Nick Kaczur were also first day picks). A couple of high picks on linemen this year and next will build the foundation for a yearly contender. Jake Long and Glenn Dorsey are good first-round picks for this team. Matt Ryan and Darren McFadden are not. You don’t draft skill position players without having a line to protect them, this only slows down their development. I honestly wouldn’t mind if every pick this year was spent on an offensive or defensive lineman.

Purge it. The coin toss is HUGE. If ATL wins it and picks 3rd then the Dallas offer of Barber and picks 22 and 28 will have to be seriously considered even though McFadden will be a stud.
Ship MeAngelo to Detroit for their 15th and that leaves us with our 20-23 million to spend on FA’s, Marion Barber and 6 picks in the top 100. Henne and Flacco will be around in the 2nd round after we’ve drafted linemen (off. and def. with first 4 picks) then take Coutu in the 4th round and we’re beginning to form an NFL roster.

Niraq, Of course he’s good but not so good he’s irreplaceable add all of his baggage and I think the new administration would be wise to trade him. Take his salary off the book and Asante (one of Dimitroff’s Patriots) wouldn’t cost too much over that. But even without Asante I think it’s in the organization’s best interest to trade him.
Let me know what you think about what I wrote in previous post — I think Dimitroff builds this team’s future through the draft and with our cap space could be competitive this year with a bright future. The money we save by not having to sign the #3 overall would pay for the other THREE first round picks.

Not only do the Falcons need to cut Vick, they need to cut all the players who made a spectacle of themselves saluting that criminal on Monday Night football! It’s time for a new, positive beginning and you can’t do that with any of those losers on the team. Blow this team up, start over and watch the team grow up and grow good together. It will take some time but this franchise has been around for more than forty years and has not won a single league championship. The Cowboys, who had known success did that when they traded away Herschel Walker. It took going 1-15 initially but progress was steady and relatively quick. That edition of the cowboys won three Super Bowls. The temptation is to ameliorate the pain but it’s better to experience the pain and keep upon the path to greatness. It’s been forty-plus years of, mostly, pain without any glory. That can change but the Falcons must become comfortable with the idea of suffering for a deferred goal instead of just suffering because they are the Falcons.

All of you people that think we will allow Vick to step foot on the field in a Falcons uniform are in fantasyland. Brooking should have been cut his last contract year. Dunn never amounted to an every down back. 3rd and 1 give it to Dunn up the middle and then punt. Boley and Hall are the only guys worth keeping and meangelo needs to shut up and play. Hopefully we’ll use the FB we signed last year as a lead blocker and not a decoy receiver. As a season ticket holder since this franchise’s inception I would have to say that we liked the scab team from the strike years better than this bunch of bums. The only person I can think of that has had more girly injuries is Chipper Jones. Build through the draft like GB,NE and NYG have done. Please don’t blow the 1st pick on a QB. Either DT or OT (Dorsey LSU or Long Mich) Hopefully DimiSmith can break the spell of losing.

It’s been clear for yrs that the Falcons don’t have the talent to compete consistently in the NFL. Vick covered that up somewhat. It will take 2 or 3 yrs to rebuild the Falcons. If the new staff really is going to weed out the unable and unwilling, congratulations. I would trade D. Hall. The guy is a cancer.

Between the local racists and all the non-talented sports experts here, it is good to see why this country still has so many problems. I encourage my son and all his sports playing friends to read these blogs, because while they are out there playing this is what people think of athletes. Remember play for yourself not those no talented clowns sitting in the stands. And if these young athletes ever need a reminder, just read a blog like this to put things in perspective.

I agree. Let’s clean THE HOUSE and cut all the high priced verterans and all the MV7 lovers. Trade DHall and Crumpler. Get some draft picks for them. We need bodies. If we could have at least 11 or 12 picks it would be awesome. 10 ain’t bad either. Draft DL, OL, QB, RB, LB, CB, and safeties in the draft. Man we do need a lot, don’t we. I’ll take a 1 & 15 season as long as we move forward. Start from scratch and revamp the roster. TD and Smith has realized this is the only way.

wholesale changes are needed, it’s time. bye-bye Alge Grumpler and your knees that sound like two ratchets, bye-bye Rod Coleman and your lack of focus, send Babineaux to Vick, good riddance half of the offensive line, Jenkins and White are too inconsistent and just aren’t going to bring it to another level. defensive backfield, well, what can say about an Atlanta falcon defensive backfield that hasn’t already been said. Demorrio has talent but is probably gone because he has in between size. Brooking could stay if he takes a pay cut and realizes he could be a 2nd string player. Dunn could stay as a utility player if he will take a pay cut or restructuring. Redman should stay as a 2nd string QB. LB’s, TE’s and RB’s can all be obtained later in the draft. OL and NT should be first on the draft, then QB and then DB/S or WR.

It is a shame to lose the few “character” guys that we have on the team that are true Falcons such as Brooking, Dunn, and Kerney. It would prefer an attempt to renegotiate their contracts than cut them. Remember Jesse Tuggle? D Hall is the first that I would cut. He is in the mold of the Jerry Glanville - June Jones Falcons of old, and I don’t care to ever watch that kind of a team. We should send him packing for all that we can get for him. The new coach and GM should get 2-3 years to rebuild the team, and we should start young and build for the future like Green Bay, San Fransico have done. It can’t be much worse. He need to look for some stability and potential. We should go ahead and loose Leftwich as well; however, the Jax coaching times may screw that up.

About 30 years ago I received some advice that fits this situation. A former GM/Pres of an Ohio based franchise said you must remove the evil from your dressing room regardless of his talent. It is not as easy as it sounds. Only people in that dressing room know whom that player is, and many times it takes time to identify that player. Evil players can be sneaky and hard to detect. We may all believe that D. Hall is that player. We are not in that dressing room. Let the new guys find out for themselves, it may shock us all who that player(s) is. Releasing players for $ and lost talent is done all the time by all teams and is just business. Outing the “bad egg” is more delicate and difficult. Nonetheless, the evil MUST go regardless of talent or popularity as soon as it is identified. We all agree there is some real bad MOJO out there on Sunday afternoons.

Will everyone quit saying how good D. Hall is. Yes he has talent, but he hasn’t used it in 2 years. I am sure that if we cut him he will get a chip on his shoulder and whatever team he lands with he will produce for. For the first year that is. Then he will get comfortable and be lazy again. If he is on the team next year, I will not be re=newing my season tickets.
Another topic: Thumbs down on the open air new stadium. The dome is great. How many games have I walked to in September and been sweating only to walk into the comforts of a great Georgia Dome. You want open air? Become a Braves fan.

All cuts will be made in light of the draft and free-agancy plan, that part is obvious.
Replacing Dunn with Norwood is a concern for me. Norwood does not seem to be a guy that can give you 20+ carries a game without wearing down or getting injured. That’s why Dunn has the starter’s job. Not sure McFadden is the answer either. In teh games I watched, his counterpart on the Ark offense actually did better.
I think the formula has to be what was mentioned: be strong up the middle, both offense and defense.
So I say: Keep Coleman.
Let Brooking go, he’s lost a step in coverage and he’s not really big enough to play MLB.
Keep Dunn and Crumpler, Matt Ryan’s got to have some throwing options.
Let Crocker and Milloy go, they didn’t have an impact.
Let the aging and injured tackles go, they can’t handle the athletic types at the corners anyway.
Much tho I hate the guy, keep MeAngelo. He just needs to be told to shut his mouth and do his job.
Get rid of Harrington and Leftwich. Neither is going to lead us anywhere. But keep Redmond as a backup.
Get as much money back as possible from convicted criminal MV7, and sign some high-quality free agent DTs and safeties.

Funny, I was talking about this to friends just the other day. Bad attitude is like a virus that can run through the locker room like you-know-what through a goose. Get rid of all of them and start all over again. This is not a vendetta - just being real. Too bad about Brooking - great guy, but at the end of his career. Hall and Crumpler should be at the top of the list - big mouths and all. I’d rather start all over with a bunch of rookies that will practice hard, play hard and learn than these cry-babies we have. All but Brooking - see ‘ya ‘round.

If Jake Long is there when the Falcons pick, it absolutely must be him. If not, then McFadden. But under no circumstances should a QB be taken with the first pick. First, because there’s not a top-10 pick QB in this draft. Second, there’s a really good upside potential SEC guy who will be available later, Erik Ainge of Tennessee. All the rest of the picks must be linemen, LBs or DBs.

Hall has been told more than once to shut his mouth and he don’t understand English. I for one will not attend anymore games as long as Hall is on team. If Hall is so great, we should get a good draft pick or trade for him.

Hooooooray! Finally, we have got someone with enough guts to say “YOU SUCK!!!! and you’re not even close to the salary you’re being paid. Pack up your stuff and GET OUT!” This was a long time coming. Now if they can just get “The Draft” and “Free Agency” right, this team could be in the playoff at 2008 seasons end. However, that remains to be seen. We shall soon see. GO FALCONS!!!!!!!!!

Keith Brooking is doing his job he has 110 tackles you would be stupid to get rid of him. Crumpler has had so many different QBs its hard for him to adjust to different QBs I would keep him. Milloy maybe has 1 year left in him but I would let him go.

It’s too bad that big salaries dictate that a person must go. That’s the way it is in the business world too. It seems that taking on a backup role with less pay is never an option. An eleven year vet like Brooking still has something to give. You lose a lot of knowledge when vets are cut. It’s definitely a balancing act.

This team wont be any good for the next 3 to 4 years. While we keep racking up the 4 and 5 win seasons we will miss those 8 win seasons people on here keep bringing up. For all that is holy, PLEASE DON’T DRAFT A FIRST ROUND QB! The time has come to build this team in a way that will resemble true winning football: running the ball and stopping it up the middle.
That tells me that they’re not going to draft Matt Ryan should they end up with the third pick. They are going after McFadden unless Dallas pulls off the mother of all deals with Miami in the draft. If he’s not available then they’re going for Glenn Dorsey. With nine picks I expect a lot of them to be along the O-lines and D-lines.
The Falcons’ should, however, spend a second round pick on Chad Henne, who is rising up the draft charts. Another pick should be on a running back like Jamaal Charles.
That said, I think it will be better to have the veterans go to teams where they have a shot at winning a title in their waning years, especially Brooking and Dunn.
It’s not going to be pretty, but necessary.

Great blog Jeff; as a life long fan, I agree with you. TD and Smitty are building a TEAM here. Just look at the coaching selections; review the men and the pedigree of work they have in their respective areas. TD was the master of finding new talent while preparing for drafts for New England; Samuel, Wolfork, Koppen, and Mankins to name a few. And they were Pro Bowlers this year too! What is needed in Falcon land is someone who will make tough, sound decisions and TD appears ready for that task. Keep up the good work TD! The best is yet to come! Hoooo-ah.

These falcon fans continue to be in denial…..scrap the team, get rid of the MV supporters, etc….D. Hall is easily the most talented player on this team….get rid of him and see how that secondary loses another step…..Dunn was a beast, its time for him to go but....Norwood cant rush 20 times a game like that…he`s not built for it….Get rid of Crumpler and you can cancel another 2 wins next season…Atlanta has little to no leverage for big trades…who else is on this team that people want….no one! MV needs to get out of prison, go to another team…..and be successful!!! I will still be a fan….

The Falcons need to cut the overpaid, past their prime vets and rebuild through the draft and a few good free agents. Get quality character players that you dont have to worry about running their mouths off to whoever will listen or getting arrested a the club. Vick is gone and if you can’t accepth that I am sorry. He was a great athlete, just not a good QB. He is one of those lack of character tpes Atlanta cannot afford to sign. Lastly to those that agree with Chumpler and the rest not playing hard; what will happen to you if you don’t produce at work or run your mouth off at management. FIRED!!!!

I agree, MeAngelo Hall is the best player on the team. Being the best on a sub-par team isn’t saying much. He barely would be average if he were a New England Patriot.
All the over 30 gang needs to go. I would trade a couple of veterans for draft picks, and try to improve the team via the draft. Warren is a class act. Maybe he can play another year or two with a good team and see a Super Bowl!

Some of our fans the hate players on there feelings that has nothing to do with football. you keep the best players. like him or not Hall is one of the NFL best DB in the game. Hall is not the problem.
The Management of this team has been the problem for years. Who would you get that is better ( BE REAL) WHO ? I want our team to win. and you don’t cut your best players because clueless fans hate them.
That why Hall will not be cut or traded, watch football people. Yes it is time for good player to be drafted . Defense should be first to rebuild.
Our defense line is weak in the middle the DT ( no middle pass rush)is a real need ,then middle line backer(we don’t have one), then safety. On offense we need a truck load of powerhouse linemen. we have weak tackles and that where you must be strong to win . Pass blocking and run blocking . Dan Reeves has been the only coach /GM that had any clue the last 20 years of this team history. Now It’s time to see if our snowboard geek GM knows football.
I like the first cut . That tell me he is going to draft a Defensive tackle . Sounds like my man from LSU or southern cal or maybe Jake Long.

I don’t think the FALCONS need to concede to rebuilding the whole team. Let me give you my reasoning. The NFC South never has the team that finished first repeat. With the proper moves we can go from last to first. Secondly with an eroding fan base we can’t take a MIAMI type situation 1-13, the fans patience will not go for that. It scares me that all these Coaches were hired from Miami. And rebuilding is not a sure thing because of injuries etc. What you project in 4 years we are back in the playoffs? You can’t guarantee that. Plus how much of last years dismal season can be attributed to Petrino, a man who had no love for Blank or the Falcons and had O-line and D-line Coaches who never coached pro. We do need to release some players but by aquiring the right free agents, a great draft and if Smith can rally the troops we are right back in the hunt.

My team BECAME, for a period of time, the low-class, drug-using, herpes-spreading, bird-flipping, mouth-running, dog-killing, lie-telling kind of organization that I was ashamed to call “MY” team.
The ownership of this team is taking the CORRECT AND NECESSARY steps needed to right the ship, and I applaud them for doing so.
I am a Falcons Fan…come what may.
I will continue to support MY team, winning or losing, as I have done since 1972, when, as a first-grader, I discovered the game of football.
I’ll celebrate our victories, lament our losses, and coach and cheer from my recliner.
All folks who wish to do the same are welcome at my house…
All people who won’t be happy until we erect a statue in honor of poor character risks who are paying the bill for their past transgressions, are part of the problem…not the solution, but you’re also welcome to watch.

While Hall has talent, his attitude has been a negative for this team.Seems to want to play hard, and b*** all the time. The trio incident on MNF was a joke, disrepectful to the city of Atlanta and the fans of the Falcons. It was not a support Mvick moment but more a “look at me, while I make an a* of my self,my team, and city” moment.

D.Hall has suspect skills, running a good 40 and promoting yourself as great doesn’t make it so.I have not seen him cover tight or fight thru for a ball. Most picks have been mistakes by opp. or D.Hall out of position.CAN U SAY BYBY.Brookings has been an asset most of his career because of his tenacity. But having to play out of position because of team inj.& bad coaching cost him.At his age and cost to cap he should be released.Dunn is top shelf as a person & player but age again makes him a liability. I only can see 5 starters on defense&4 maybe 5 on offense that are definite keepers.Everyone else is expendable.Rebuild DEFENSE first Every good team has top 5 defense. To find out what happened to this team would probably require cogresssional investigation but I beleive A.B. tried to appeal to the wrong crowd.Football belongs to entire fan base not just one segment.A lot of changes are needed from players to fan appeal. This franchise imploded and M.V. was just 1 reason.M.V. pulled the pin on his grenade, noone did it to him & now he is HISTORY. In the Falcons case Change can only equal, some and hopefully lasting, discipline and solidity. D Hall’s got gangsta written all over him. Good luck getting what you can for him in a trade. Suck it up fans say goodbye to the millionaire over the hill gang. I don’t think any of our high pick WR’s have had a chance to transition into pro ball, don’t even call Atlanta’s past offensive schemes professional. Don’t get too thin with the receivers, draft or trade up the middle on OFFENSE and defense, who knows maybe the birds can find a later round (remember Schaub?) QB to play catch with. * before we roll the dice in the draft and take a proven troublemaker like mcfadden or another potential thug in dorsey, we need to take a long hard look at matt ryan and howie long’s son. I dont think we will have any character issues with those 2 men. its been proven that once you give a blackman money he will not know how to act. he thinks he is above the law. hence the dogfighting, dui’s, stripclub fights, weapons and drug charges.Eli or peyton have never been arrested, nor has brady or lienart. but pacman,mv7,tank johnson etc stay in the news for crimes. I hope dimitrioff is smart enough to see this. If insanity can be classified as a disease, so should racism. What is it about football that attracts racist misfits like DAVID PUKE/TITO, for example? His one dimensional approach is always negative and antagonistic. He’s obcessed with negative backward thinking, which might explain the little fruitcake’s sexual orientaton.
Why does that little tinkerbell hate Black people so much, especially Black men. Do you think he once got a case of jungle fever and found out too late that his partner’s ship was more than his little ocean could handle? HOLLA, HEH, HEH, HEH!

ken Strychnine, still up to your old boring tricks I see. I don’t hate all black men Thick Lips. I just hate black, lying, insulting, homosexually panicked, intellectually inferior, loud talking, uninformed, uneducable, illiterate, pretentious, silly and swishy nut jobs such as yourself. You are the epitome of insufficiency in your race. Now, go put on that lingerie you bought to please yo man, get into bed and do whatever yo gay a* does. So long aggotfa.

I can’t help but be amused when people question whether fans will have patience for rebuilding. Has a team been built in the last 30 years that has not been a one hit wonder? I say keep the meddling owner out of the way, let Thomas build his team, and in 3 years lets see where we are. It can’t be much worse than the last 30 years. i personally don’t think they cut enough of the chumps today!(Keith Brooking)

YOU MUST BE A CRACKHEAD OR JUST A PLAIN MORRON. VICK DID CARRY THIS TEAM AND HE DID FILL THE DOME. SO IF THE FALCONS CUT HIM THEY ARE AS DUMB AS YOU ARE. STOP HATING AND GET MOTIVATED. WHEN VICK COMES BACK ITS ON. AND IF THEY DO GET RID OF HIM AND HE LANDS WITH ANOTHER TEAM WATCH OUT.

Ken Strychnine, you are simian in your comments and actions. You remind me of the venerable Cheetah who just turned 75 and who, in his long life, is like you and can’t even spell his own name. Don’t you have bananas to peel or fleas to remove from yo man mate? Stop monkeying around on this blog and get back to the zoo. Ken Strychnine in the mist, good title for all your primitively hacked out excretions on this blog boy!

Maybe people aren’t insane Ken. Perhaps they are sick and tired of 50 years of your peeps going nowhere. Jews, Italians, Irish, etc. have all assimilated and done quite well. Your culture sees that as a “sell out” and cost everyone because of the victim mentality. Nice one the big **ck myth Ken. Perhaps we’re tired of paying for section 8 housing from a lady with 5 kids out of our tax dollars! But I guess that makes me racist!

50 years? More like 400 years. People complain about the Mexicans coming to take jobs and I understand why. These people like to work and they work hard and they work well. The operative word here is work. Those that work do well. Those that shy away from it find alternative, often illegal, ways to make money. Those who don’t become robbers, grifters, dope dealers and the like get on the public dole.

Can somebody straighten me out? Are we talking football, politics, or uniforms here? I for one think (read ‘sincerely hope’) that team management may for once finally have a grasp on the NFL / football side of things; politics and race are not the issue in this space; and the uniforms are the only thing left for us to have a voice on here. I’m with springman - make the overhaul complete.

Springman? That sounds really gay! Why are you worrying about uniforms. The Giants don’t have the snazziest uniforms in the world but they are World Champions. The Patriots have cool uniforms, an 18-1 record and no championship. I will comment as i please on here. You don’t set the agenda for me or for anyone else. What are you trying to start here, Queer Eye for the Uniform Guy? Buzz off BBBBBruce.

No, Al character has never won a Super Bowl. The lack of it, however, has contributed to several losses in the Super Bowl. The lack of character in Mike Vick contributed mightily to the horrible season the Falcons just completed. They wouldn’t have won any more games with him but it was a huge embarrassment. Let’s hope the team will install a principled person of porcelain complexion as their quarterback.

DAVID PUKE/TITO-What’s up fruitcake? In your 6:40PM post, mentioned how you didn’t hate all Black men(I’m certain you’ve had relationships, or hope to, with the ones you do like). In the next sentence you went on a tirade about how you hated Black lying, insulting, homosexually panicked, intellectually inferior, loud talking, etc. Sounds like you don’t have a problem with guys possessing these qualities as long as they’re not Black? You also made it clear you don’t have a problem with Black men that are homosexual, as long as they’re not homosexually panicked. Keep talking you little fairy, you’re revealing yourself.
MR T-Since my statement was about racism and racist in general, and didn’t single anyone out, you identified yourself by your response. Jews, Irish, Italians, etc. didn’t come to this country in chains and enslaved while being deprived of their human rights for over 4 centuries. They didn’t have laws passed that allowed them to be put to death for learning how to read and/or write. Even Jews, Irish, Italians or any other White person could also be put to death for teaching a Black person how to read and/or write. Although the groups you mentioned have suffered discrimination, they didn’t have segration laws passed specificially targeting them.
It’s funny how Moronic White’s like you complain about being victims of afirmative action. Afirmative action has been in place since the 1964 civil rights bill was passed. You find fault if Blacks for feel they have been victimized of 400+yrs of mans greatest inhumanity to man. Yet, You have no problem seeing yourself as a victim of 44yrs of Afirmative Action, WOW.
Buy the way, Whites receive 51% of all welfare benefits(more than all other recipients combined)and that includes section 8, you moron. Are you so mentally dulled by your racist mentality that you think your taxes are paying for Black welfare recipients only? Are you stupid enough to think Whites are the only ones who’s taxes support welfare?
Why aren’t you concerned about your peeps who comprise over 90% of all serial rapists, murders, bombers, child molestation, internet predators, mass murderers, teen and preteen mass murderers, children killing their parents, parents killing their children, people committing incest, bestiality and documated cannabilism? Let’s not talk about percentage of White clergy committing these crimes. FORTUNATELY, MOST BLACKS REALIZE THIS VILE UNCIVILIZED BEHAVIOR ISN’T REPRESENTIVE OF MOST WHITES. IT JUST HIGHLIGHTS A VERY SICK, DERANGED SEGMENT OF WHITE CULTURE, WHICH INCLUDES YOU AND RACIST ANAL MINDED MORONS LIKE YOU.
