I predict…
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
- One year from today, the Braves will still be for sale and Steve Greenberg, the investment banker handling the case, will still claim “phones are ringing off the hook.” Never mind that the only thing that will really energize the fan base - and therefore increase the value of the team — is winning another World Series.
- Terrell Owens will have only one team make him an offer this off-season, and he’ll take it. Fortunately, he’ll will be somewhat humbled by the market and the Dallas Cowboys will get one of the best receivers in football for $6.50 an hour — plus tips.
- The Indianapolis Colts will not win the Super Bowl. They won’t even get there. (It’s all about going against the grain.)
- The Atlanta Spirit will go 1 for 2. The Hawks will lose the lottery. The Thrashers will make the playoffs for the first time in franchise history — and they’ll win a round, setting up a second-round series with Ottawa and Dany Heatley.
- Dan Kolb returns to Atlanta as the Milwaukee Brewers’ closer, blows a save opportunity in the ninth — and for the first time at Turner Field gets a standing ovation.

Jeff, Where is your prediction for the Dawgs winning the SEC East again. Half of their conference games are against, MSU, Ole Miss, Kentucky, and Vandy. Florida has, Auburn, Bama, and LSU. UT has LSU, Bama, and Arkansas. The schedule makes the difference.
