College picks: Mediocrity won’t beat Canes
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
In his four seasons as coach at the Georgia Institute of Technology and Modest Football Expectations, Chan Gailey will have gone 4-4, 4-4, 4-4 and — I’m going to live dangerously here and project — 4-4 in the ACC.
This scientifically improbable run of so-so-ness moved athletics director Dave Braine to reward Gailey in a way generally unforeseen in competitive athletics, at least here on Earth. With a five-year contract extension.
The deal actually had been in the works for weeks by Braine, and is expected to be made into a pilot for a new Jefferson-Pilot reality show, scheduled to debut next fall: “Congratulations! The Glass Is Half Full!
Braine had planned to launch the show in September by rewarding Terrell Owens with a five-year contract extension and a $20 million signing bonus. But the shock value was considered insufficient.
“We expect Dave’s catch phrase, ‘You’ve Got A New Deal!’ to become as familiar as Donald Trump saying, ‘You’re fired!’ â€? voices told Weekend Predictions. “But, ‘You’re Fired’ is such a downer. We’re all about sunshine. Do you like our new stadium expansion? The seats are so clean. Never been used. Could I interest you in a bon-bon? Some ABBA, perhaps?â€?
In future episodes, Braine is expected to give five-year extensions to Dan Kolb, the executive director of FEMA and the cast of any show produced by MTV.
“We have also been in discussions with government officials on giving President Bush a new five-year extension, voices said. “Our faculty athletics rep, George O’Leary, has found a loophole in the Constitution. Really. Say, have you seen my pet rabbit? Goes about 6-foot-3.
This week, the Rambling Wreckage goes to Miami. The line is 17 1/2. If Tech pulls an upset, there will be another TV pilot in the works.
In Fantasyland.
Canes win and cover.
Bonus six-pack
Cats and Dogs: Georgia gets a third chance to lock up the SEC East. Funny. Nobody seems that excited about it anymore. And about the Auburn game: There’s way too much attention being paid to the offense and botching a two-point decision when the game came down to letting the Tigers drive down the field in the final minute. You’re looking at the wrong side of the ball, folks. Didn’t think Doggies could cover 27, then I remembered last year (Georgia 62, Rich Brooks 17). Doggies cover.
Clemson at South Carolina: The last time these two met, they brawled after the game, ending Lou Holtz’s career on a wonderfully awful note. This week, Steve Spurrier’s post-Florida high was punctured by the ever-present Lou Holtz Sack of Reality: 11 NCAA violations leading to three years probation. The good news is, it doesn’t affect Lou’s retirement fund. Or conscience. Take Gamecocks and 2 1/2 — and in a straight upset.
Iron [Deficiency] Bowl: Alabama is so beat up that Mike Shula decided to have his players practice without pads the week of the Auburn game. That’s believed to be a felony in Tuscaloosa, at least the kind that are actually prosecuted. The over/under on “The Bear wouldn’t have done that! shouts this week: 137 million. Auburn covers 7.
VaTech at Virginia: The Hokies have had a week off since getting smacked by Miami. Hope Al Groh wasn’t counting on a long winning streak. VaTech covers 7.
LSU at Mississippi: Guess wins over Memphis, The Citadel and Kentucky haven’t fired up the troops in Oxford. Four players quit this week, bringing the number of exits to 12 since summer. Coach Ed Orgeron questioned their talent level. Problem: He brought in 7 of the 12. Oops. LSU covers 17.
Vandy at Tennessee: The Vowels dumped Memphis by four points last week. Dave Braine rewarded Phil Fulmer with a five-year extension. Tennessee wins, but take Vandy and the 12.
Kiss the accountant
(Nailed the South Carolina upset. Wasn’t really serious about anything else, but then you knew that.)
Last week: 5-3 straight up, 3-4-1 against the line.
Fiscal season: 60-16 straight up 45-29-2 against the line.

As a UGA fan I am shocked-SHOCKED that we have to be in the same state as those rule breaking Yellow Jackets and their NCAA violations. I’m sure all of the Tech fans out there will stick to their principles and immediately abandon the team. Because academics are more important than giving football players special treatment, right? Right? Hello? Is this thing on?

Too funny Schultz! Thought the same thing about the extension, what are they thinking? Obviously, they are not. While we are talking about Tech, to all fans - DO NOT come preaching to the Dawg fans about how properly things are done at your school! Face it, you cheat (like a lot of the others) and yet are still mediocre at best. Pitiful!
About the Dawgs, Schultz makes a great point, “nobody seems that excited about it (SEC Champ. game) anymore.” Hate to call my own out, but get over it. Of course, two in a row to UF and AU hurt, but they are in the past. Support and cheer the Dawgs on against the Cats for the East. Take care of Tech next week and we are 9-2 going in to the Dome. Now, about the Dome, I can’t believe the hype LSU is getting. According to the sports media (ESPN, SI, CBS Sportsline), we might as well hand LSU the SEC title and send them on to the Sugar? Give me a break! When the Dawgs line-up to play in Atlanta on Dec. 3rd, they will do just fine. However, (if people could get off of MR and others and the two losses)your support would be greatly appreciated.
Go Dawgs!!!

TennDawg, Right on. I for one am hyped about the Championship game for a couple of reasons. One reason is that Shockley has done extremely well this year and he deserves the chance to play for the SEC ring. Second, after being picked 3rd in our division we are going to win it and Florida and Tennesse gets to watch from home. LSU will be a tough game but I think our chances are just as good as anybody elses.
As for GA Tech you said it best TennDawg. Besides we get to see former Bulldogs playing on Sunday afternoons in the NFL.

i guess i am among the minority of dawg fans who pulls for all football programs in the state of georgia including tech when they do not play goergia. tech/georgia rivalry has been a classic and i for one do not want to see the tech program lowering itself to midiocrity because it would tarish our great series!
Bobby Dodd AND Bobby Ross worked together very well with then presidents of the school and were able to develop a football program that work very successfully with tech’s academic world and the same can happen again. if tech could locate a ATHLETIC DIRECTOR and PRESIDENT of the school who are committed to achieving this goal it can be done!
it has been done in the past and it can be done once again. this is one dawg fan who hopes it will!

Dave Braine managed to put Tech on probation for the first time ever. I think it’s time for him to move on. As for Gailey, name someone else who could do a better job and would actually accept the job offer.

Right on, Dawgpound. Like to see those Techies put up a good fight. It’s kinda like the Ford, Chevy, and Dodge dealerships all on the same block. If Tech and UGA are succeeding, then maybe there’s enough football here at home to give the blue-chippers no reason to leave.

Georgia Tech violated NCAA rules? Say it isn’t so! Oh if I could only participate on the HIVE again. All those years of hearing about UGA football violations, Jan Kemp et. al. Well, sorry Techies but the worm has turned for you. It’s time for Tech to turn there football stadium into a calculator manufacturing plant because football ain’t your sport!
Hey Jeff, get a clue. Georgia lost to Auburn because of two critical fumbles. If we don’t cough up the ball the 4th and ten is moot and Kenny Iron’s yardage is meaningless.

This probation along with our drug dealin’ corner may actually help GT’s recruiting. We need some good ole publicity (good or bad). Hell, It can’t hurt. Other than Calvin, we’ve had nothing to work with over the past few years. We need things like this to get the word out that we have thugs too, just not as many as every other program.
You can take the wins away on paper, but those three straight woopin’s the Dawgs took 98-00 can never be erased from my memory.

The reason I question SC’s eligibility is the Gator’s had the SEC conference championship taken away in 1984. As I remember, they had the trophy and refused to give it back. Good ole Charley Pell RIP, he learned well from Bear Bryant.

Jeff, you are an abomination to your profession. If you knew a damn thing about sports, you might could creep up to the level of crap, but you can’t even muster that. Might you want to research before you rant? AJC, this is sad, and for those of us with a pulse, I think we’re getting tired of hearing Mr. Schultz’s opinions validated by no fact or brainwork. I am a Tech fan, and I am livid with Dave Braine right now, but to watch Jeff Redneck go on his UGA-driven tirade about Tech every week, your the reason that someone came up with the word hate. I hope Rich Brooks delivers a personal punch to your face, but then again maybe not, because I wouldn’t dare want you to feel inspired to write anything about it if that happened. What a joke

C’mon now Pat, don’t be sore. That’s a wee bit harsh. If you read Jeff regularly, you’ll find that he is unbiased in his mocking of all sports teams/figures when they’re deserving, and sometimes just for the hell of it. (Re: Trembling Chihuahuas, Phoney-Niners, Jim Para-Morya, Vowels so on and so on..) I always get a good chuckle out of Jeff’s articles, like him or not. And I have to admit, 45-29 ATS is damned good. Keep up the good work, Jeff!

Let’s get real people! If you told any UGA fan that this year you would be 9-2 with a spot in the SEC Championship game, would ANY of you say “No thanks”? Win 2 more, then beat the West, and you are in a BCS bowl. That’s what it’s all about. NOBODY was going to get a sniff at the National Championship this year other than TX and USC. Get over it! We win out and go 11-2, then we’re Top 5. I’d wager about 200 other schools would love to be “disappointed” like some of these geniuses who post here. If we play up to our talent, we can win out. I’ve been watching UGA since i was a baby (i’m 46) and Dooley was amazing, and he won 6 SEC titles. We are in a VERY difficult league, folks. If Richt wins this year, that’s 2 titles in 4 or five years. Be happy-we have a good coach and a good program.

All you stupid U(sic)GA fans are idiots. Saying you are embarassed to be in the same state, I remember times when your AD tried to force teachers to pass students and let’s not even talk about the Bball coaching final exam (diagram the half court line, how many points are in a 3 point shot).
gdawg, you are also an idiot. As a tech fan, I also watch former players on Sunday. And I watch former tech golfers on Sunday, former Tech baseball players in MLB, and even former players running the court in the NBA. If football is so great at your school, why has your last national championship been 25 years ago, and ours was 15 years ago? How many bowls has UGA been to? What is your winning percentage in bowls? Hmmm…..less than Tech. I also can’t wait for Bobby Bowden to retire. You will see what kind of loyalty Richt has, loyalty to his mentor that is. Why is it that all U(sic)GA fans seem uneducated and are just all around mrorns?

I already said it was zero recently, sorry, I forgot, you can’t interpret anything because you went to a school that doesn’t teach you anything. Did you even go to school there? At Tech, we actually care more than how good the person is at sports. We want them to get an education and a degree. Calvin Johnson didn’t go to Georgia because he is smart and wanted to get a good education. U(sic)GA will usually have a better season than Tech because you can recruit whoever you want. Since we go to a superior academic school, we actually have to recruit a smart student athlete. What do your athlete’s do after they graduate if they don’t go on to the next level? Work for our graduates. I will enjoy giving orders to those with a U(sic)GA degree.

TechFanInTheFlats - reading your nonsense makes me feel like I am watching a bad movie with bad actors - embarrased. Dude, your dribble about Calvin Johnson and his desire to attend a “superior academic school” is unbelievable. As for those fine “student athletes” at Tech, have you gotten so bored with your sheer brilliance that you have taken-up off season drug trafficking? Help me here, was it 10 or 11, ah hah, 11 football players (“superior student/athletes”) that helped put your education-first, football-second university on probation. Finally, let me answer your question personally about what Georgia’s athlete’s “do after they graduate.” Let’s see (not too brag, but that comment really set me off),I am thirty-one, I own two independent insurance agencies, I own a home, a vacation river house, have three kids and a fantastic wife. AustinDog,maybe it’s that “never get the girl” complex. Or maybe it is “the close but no cigar” or the “always the bride’s maid, never the bride” syndrome. Or maybe it is just what happens when you just lost every excuse that you ever invented for losing. All those 51-7s and 41-17s, and the numerous other thrashings that they take each and every year takes a horrible toll on their little psyches. Imagine what it must feel like to those with that false sense of superiority when each and every sentence and paragraph of their academic mantra has proven to be the equivalent of football plagiarism. And then on top of all that when Dave Braine couldn’t find anyone who wanted the Head job at Tech he gave Chan another 5 years. They are now experiencing their own little hell. They now know the truth, but it didn’t set them free. They have nothing more to justify the arrogance they have displayed over the years. Oh well. The chickens finally came home to roost on the flats.

Braine retaining Gailey has a lot of people perplexed, but I think there’s something more going on. Braine might be putting the GT football program into position to move to Division II. That way GT can still tout academics AND be competitive on the football field. Gailey won the Div II title in ‘84 with Troy State and there’s nothing that says he can’t do it again. I think a lot of GT fans would oppose the move, but the switch will be made. GT could still play Georgia every year and the game would be a nice payday for their athletic dept.

El Jeffe’,
The jibes regarding Braine are right on target. Anyone that has a modicum of business sense knows that there’s no need to lock down something with a long-term contract unless it’s in demand and the demand is likely to increase. I certainly don’t hear of read reports of other colleges beating down our doors to sign Gailey away.
Braine lays out an ultimatum for Gailey to show improvement in the program and shows what he and the ultimatum are made of. Nothing.
Thanks for the chuckles. I need them. I’ve never been quite so angry and disillusioned at the same time.
For all my life as a Tech fan and an Atlanta native, I’ve grown up with Bulldog fans as friends and relatives. My Bulldog buddies have told me for years how we Tech alumni are nothing but a big bunch of hypocrites and snobs.
Of course, I denied it vehemently and sneered with glee with each transgression of the wayward doggies from Athens.
Turns out they’re right.
Maybe not in past administrations, but this administration makes all of the pups’ claims true. We claim to have a top notch academic school and at the same time our administration has the gall to claim that the rules are too difficult to understand (the same rules that every other college in the nation seemed to figure out how to follow).
It’s clear that they either didn’t care enough to try to understand and follow the rules or they turned their heads the other way and figured that no one would ever bother to check out good old clean Georgia Tech. If you don’t understand the rules, it takes a couple of days to take a trip over to a sister school and see how they are doing things. Of course that requires abandoning a little bit of your arrogance.
I remember seeing a picture of Bill Curry sitting behind his desk with a copy of the NCAA rule book on his desk. Homer Rice certainly cared about the rules. Joe Petit cared. Bill Curry cared. When did Tech get so arrogant that we decided to quit caring?
So when they are caught what does this administration do? They point to the spotless reputation built by those that came before them and arrogantly expect leniency and cry foul when they get what they deserve.
It’s purely hilarious to me that Dave Braine can decry the harshness of the NCAA penalties out of one side of his mouth and then simultaneously act holier-than-thou regarding the Reuben Houston court decision.
We laugh about UGA’s recruiting transgressions, but go out and sign this blue-chip bball kid out of Memphis that already comes with baggage. Why not go get Harrick Jr. to come in and coach him? I don’t care how good a player he is, with this baggage, we will deserve whatever we get down the road from this case.
Truth is, if the Georgia Tech administration doesn’t react swiftly by imposing harsh sanctions on the members of the athletic department responsible for the probation (starting with Braine himself), we are doing nothing but proving the puppies’ claims of hypocrisy and snobbery for them.
It’s a dark day for my alma mater. Shame on us.

Ok, here’s the upset bid of the year. Vandy over Tennessee by at least 7, maybe 14. Just calling a hunch.

GTNE80, Good post. I truly am a fan of GT when they aren’t playing UGA. I find the whole Brainy to Charley Chan hand-off so insanely blatant in light of the NCAA ruling. Surely Brainy should have seen the irony in his actions. Both of them need to go!

Jeff Schultz says it all about Brainy here.
“Braine started the week by announcing that football coach Chan Gailey is being awarded a new five-year contract. Everyone waited for the punch line.
If Braine didn’t lose everybody with the show of support for Gailey, he took care of the rest by publicly stating the Jackets “will never win nine or 10 games consistently. As AD, you just don’t say that. It undermines everything a coach or a player works for. I’ve never ever heard general managers of expansion teams state, “We’ve got no chance.
How do you feel if you’re a season-ticket holder — or a donor who helped pay for a certain stadium expansion? If Braine’s goal was to help Gailey, he made it worse. What’s an opposing recruiter going to do with that quote?”
WHAT WAS HE THINKING! Enough about this.

Ok, lets settle this, cuz I get sick of hearing it. Georgia students are good, and they end up doing fine after graduation. Do they do better than Tech grads? Relatively, statistically, no. But, they still do fine. Does GaTech cheat? They said unknowingly. But we all know that Tech doesn’t cheat nearly as much as UGA. So lets stop acting holier-than-though dawg fans. Plain and simple, UGA alumns do fine, but on average not as good as Tech. Face it! I bet a UGA fan will still post trying to argue by giving a specific example stating how he owns 5 houses, 3 of them beach houses, 2 BMWs, a boat, a plane, and 5 acres of land. And Tech cheats, but not as much as UGA. DOes anyone want to complain about that? No, so lets stop and focus on talking trash about football. UGA, you guys are overrated. You lost to a horrible Florida team (again) who is your biggest rivalry, yet you guys lose all the time. You lost to Auburn, at home, by virtue of horrible defense. You almost lost to a VERY average South Carolina team and almost lost to a terrible Arkansas team. I’m calling it, you’re going to get beat by Tech. Our defense is good and will stall your offense and maybe even score some points. Your defense sucks, which means that you will hold our horrible offense to field goals. But, our defense scores puts us ahead. Jackets win baby!

Football Fan, I’m not trying to argue, just the facts. I am not sure where I went wrong but my daughter is now enrolled in GT. Thank goodness for the lottery. She also was accepted at FS, UNC, and Georgetown, but not Georgia. Why is that Football Fan?

GTNE80- feel for you definitely. Long way to go until we overcome Harrick’s debacle at UGA within the b-ball program. Like all else in life though, “time heals all wounds.” Tech will be just fine (contrary to earlier blogs which were directed at the disillusioned) and compete at the highest level. Be good.
Sorry, but as always…Go DAWGS!!!

Thank you for calling out idiot Braine. I wish more of the writers would hold him to the flame over this. He should be run out of town by our media. I have said it to all of my buddies who are Georgia friends that they win. I will no longer argue or defend GT as long as Braine is there. After eight seasons of getting season tickets with my dad we will no longer do so next year. Braine has ruined one of the great things me and my dad did together on Saturday’s. To Hell with Braine. Also, for once in my life go Dawgs in two weeks.

The volume of pure venom that people spew in blogs such as this one simply floors me. Obviously, there is a constitutional right to free speech, but apparently the internet lends itself to people feeling that they have the license to post an unsubstantiated diatribe that is not even remotely rooted in fact.
To paraphrase Football Fan, let’s settle this, cuz I am tired of hearing it.
FIRST, I challenge you to provide any data that Tech students in similar professions outperform Georgia students. You have to compare apples to apples. If you looked at Tech students that ultimately went into business, for example, or law or medicine, I would doubt that you would find any difference at all. To compare professions in terms of income that differ by virtue of the nature of their profession is simply not valid. Does anyone know an elementary school teacher who earns as much as the average electrical engineer? I don’t. But that does not mean that the elementary school teacher is not a valuable contributor to society. I think most of us with children would agree that our educators are underpaid. My point is that to make unsubstantiated claims that Georgia graduates do well, but not as well as Tech graduates, “statistically speaking,” is a bunch of crap. You don’t have the data that you refer to because they aren’t out there. To gauge how well someone “does” on the basis of income is one metric that could be used, but you don’t provide those data. You certainly cannot provide the data regarding people in similar professions, as I noted above. But then, success in a profession is not always just about income. It can be about impact on others’ lives, or on society, or influence in making the world we live in a better place. And those things are virtually impossible to quantify for any population of graduates.
It seems to me that people who denigrate the worth of the lives of others on the basis of which school they went to (as opposed to looking at them as individuals) have some unresolved issues regarding self-esteem. This blog is supposed to be about football. Intelligent, thoughtful commentary like GTNE80’s post is, unfortunately, crowded out by volumes of hateful and unsubstantiated crap by both Tech and Georgia fans that serve little purpose.
As a professional and the owner of my own corporation, I am grateful for the fact that the state of Georgia has institutions of higher learning the caliber of Ga. Tech and U.Ga. that our in-state students can attend free of tuition charge via the HOPE scholarship. This allows us to keep our best and brightest in-state, whereby people like myself can employ them. As a Board member of the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences at U. Ga., I am an avid supporter of ALL higher education in this great state we live in.
With regard to football (the intent of this blog), a few observations about the Georgia season. We’ve lost a couple we shouldn’t have, but we have a unique opportunity in the next four games. There are four games left—all potentially in-state. Win today in Athens and we win the SEC East. Win the next week against Tech in Atlanta and we win the state title. Win against LSU (or whoever) in the SEC Championship and we win the SEC. Win the Sugar Bowl (in Atlanta) and we win that bowl game. Four winnable games, all in-state. Four championships. And the potential end result? An outstanding 11-2 SEC championship team. That trek starts now. It will not be easy. But if the Dawgs can complete it, they will be the winningest senior class in Georgia history (45 wins in 4 years, with two SEC titles, three SEC East titles, four bowl wins and four wins over Tech).
Now, THAT’s something to bark about!
Go Dawgs!

Sometimes you’ve got to dig through the manure to find the pony. Thanks TennDawg and “the other Murphy” for the intelligent and thoughtful posts. A few posts such as those from “Football Fan” have to be passed over. It’s a free blog and he’s got a right to his opinion like the rest of us.
It’s a dated opinion. Things have changed quite a bit academically at both institutions over the past 40 years. When I was a kid in Atlanta, people spoke in hushed tones of awe regarding local Tech grads. “He’s a Tech man,” carried some real cache’. The joke after a tough Physics or Calculus test when I was at Tech was “there’s always UGA,” and the joke wasn’t totally unfounded.
The last decade, with the advent of the lottery scholarships and other developments has changed the dynamic between the schools. UGA will always be a much larger school with a much more diverse curriculum. But Tech’s curriculum has broadened of late with the advent of the alliance with Ga. State. Admission to UGA can be as difficult as admission to Tech, depending on the course of study.
Sense is that the size of the University and the breadth of curriculum will always give UGA an edge in recruiting especially for football. For teams that don’t require as many players such as baseball and basketball, Tech can compete very well. For football it will always be a challenge.
I enjoy the Tech-UGA rivalry. I bristle when I hear UGA fans claim that Tech is not their #1 rival. Ray Goff nailed it. There are teams that UGA fans might claim that they’d rather beat, but there’s NO team that they would rather not lose to. Good fans from both sides know this is true. I enjoy it when Tech beats Clempson. I’ll dance in the street when, and if, we ever beat the Criminoles. But I get to keep a warm feeling all year when we kick the Dawgies.
The good word is, and always will be, “To Hell With Georgia”, just like the last line to Glory, Glory is “to hell with Georgia Tech”.
Long live the rivalry!
To hell with Braine!

I have never been so proud of a team in my life. With everyone against them, even many of our fans and alumni, Tech punks Miami, 14-10. That’s #3 Miami. And what was the highest rank team Muttland played this year?
I think this shows Braine knew what he was doing. I think this shows Gailey knows what he is doing. I guess this shows a shortage of crow in the Peach State right now.
This is why I am a Tech fan and would rather walk through hell in a gasoline suit, than be a Mutt.
Props to Tenuta!

GT 14 Miami 10, and TO HELL WITH GEORGIA. At least Georgia is better academically than most of state schools in the surrounding states. You can’t win them all. Take consolation in where you can. Even our easy school(Management) has managed to be ranked higher than Athen’s version. 2nd place is not the worse thing in the world. You guys are better than Ga Southern. Those same conspirators who do this ranking have also infiltrated the Street and Smith’s staff as well? I am proud to be an alum of the 16th greatest program of all time. I’ll ask for forgiveness in advance if my comments are not thoughtful enough. 26th. Some of you GT fans have got to stop kissing with these dogs. Over and out.

I am so proud of our players and coaches! I am so proud to be a Jacket! If you guys at the ACJ would ever take the time to get to know Chan and give him a chance you would see why so many of us are thankful he is our coach. He has character and our players are the better for it…and character won tonight! He has had to deal with so much already as our coach and has a plate full ahead of him. But I am certain he can lead us through this mess with much more than mediocrity!

It seems that the only qualifications you have to have to write for the AJC are to 1) be a mutt fan, and 2) be able to express your opinions with an air of overconfidence, no matter how stupid your opinions might be. I think Helen Keller could have done a better job writing an article for this game than you did.

Where are all the UGA fans now? For the record, Reuben is only guilty of introducing two friends, not dealing in his dorm room. Once he found out drugs were in the car, he immediately got out of the car. I completely think what he did was wrong, but he wasn’t an actual dealer, had to set the facts straight. Also, we did not blatantly cheat with academics, we counted a grade of D for 17 athletes where they actually needed a C. And that was only 11 football players, most of whom did not start.
To all those who said I am a “wanna-bee”, or I need to “get some”, I am a Tech student who is graduating in December with a 3.14 gpa and I am engaged, so shut up.
Oh, I almost forgot. For those Dawg fans who are at a friends house b/c they can’t afford a computer and didnt see they game b/c they couldnt get to the bar b/c their tractor broke down, Tech beat the #3 Miami Hurricanes tonight. Just wanted to let you know.
