My Take On The Elite 8
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
So the Lions will not be in action this Friday, though they should be (but we won’t go there again). Anyways here is my take on the remaining games in AAAAA.
Camden vs Grayson: Grayson has been the surprise team, in my opinion. I think they have having somewhat of a “cinderella run” similar to the Peachtree Ridge last year. that Rams defense is stout, but I just don’t know if they can handle those boys from Camden. I think it’ll be extremely difficult to win in Camden. If the game were at a nuetral site or in Gwinnett, I think Grayson would be much better off, but becuase it is not I will pick the Wildcats by a Touchdown.
North Gwinnett vs Newnan: I know very little about Newnan, but i do know how powerful the Bulldogs are. And NG was my pick from the beginning of the playoffs to go to the Championship and i’ll stick with them. Bulldogs win it by 10 points.
Walton vs ML King: The one undefeated team left is ML King but that Walton team sure has soem firepower. That have beaten some very good teams, and have lost to North Gwinnett. I think taht Walton has been more battle tested so I they pull it off and win by a FG.
Roswell vs Lowndes: Roswell has some problems that need to be worked out. They have to get off to a good start this time, Daniel must hold onto the ball, and they must be able to execute a FG. If they do not, Lowndes will dominate. These Vikings are big and nasty. Roswell wil have to play nearly flawless to win the game. There has been so much “focus on other things” regarding Roswell, with last week’s play, and them moving the game. All those distractions may be bad. But who knows? Who am I cheering for? I don’t really care. Who do i think will win? Lowndes. By 10.
Well that’s it, everyone have a great weekend. Go Region 7 (NG)!!!
