Week 1

Hey guys, sorry for this blog’s delay, and Coach Brown, who has the stats for me, will be at practice tomorrow so I can get game 9, 10, and 11s stats for you guys tomorrow.

Well, round one of the playoffs was a complete flip from our gamer against Centennial. Roswell went into the first half against South Gwinett pumped and fought hard, but with two muffed returns by Lavelle Larry, it gave South Gwinett a reason to fight, making the score at the end of the first half 14-10 Roswell. RHS came out the second half pumped, on fire, and ready to roll over the opposition unmatched. I think that the last touchdown run by Steven Peasant capped off the game nicely. He ran over South Gwinett stiff arming three defenders and made it into the endzone.

Next week, RHS plays the grudge match of the century. We play P’Tree RIdge at Ray Manus Stadium. We’ll need all the fans there to support us on friday night, and the game will be a great one.

GO HORNETS!!!!

do you have any stats through the 11 games? passing for dustin, rushing for alex, tackles for ebele, fists pumped into the air for JJ, etc

the ajc’s stat page says Roswell has returned one kickoff this season, so i’m guessing it’s not up to date.

lavelle will be fine, he’s one of the fastest players and best runners on the team. the sophomore receivers really need to step it up though; too many dropped passes in previous games. embry is playing like a true college athlete though it’s no wonder he’s goin to oregon. DT has been great the other receivers just need to be playmakers.
