It’s in our hands now

Hey guys, this is Chris Orf, straight from the Roswell win over Northview. The game was a Hornets victory 37-14. Key players tonight were Alex Daniels, who ran for 2 or 3 touchdowns, I can’t remember off the top of my head, Tailer Jones who made 2 key catches in the first half, and Dominique Wheeler, who shut down the receivers all game long.

The first half of the game, the Hornets walked off the field with a lead 13-7, wayyyyyyyyy too close for comfort. We came back onto the field, and just ran the ball down their throats all half long. The hornets broke away after a 20ish yarder by A.D for a TD making the score 23-14. The Hornets end their regular season against a red hot Centennial team next week, and will prove to be a good show for all. Oh ya, and if we win by a margin greater than 5, we won the sub region.

GO HORNETS!!!!

Yes Buzz In Roswell, to determine who goes to the playoofs or not is done by margin of victory, not by the whole season (dang, we’re up 268 to 61 in that) but by how high you’ve beaten the other in the 3 way tie you’re in it with, aka Centennial.

Alright guys, I’m calling the score 24-13 Roswell for the win. Centennial makes up for its lack of defense with good offense, but Roswell’s defense is averaging under ten points per game. Alex Daniels and Garrett Embry create an offensive balance that is hard to defend. Should be a great game to watch. GO HORNETS

Hold on you said lack of good defense did you see the chattochee game or the milton game or the alphretta game dont think so . our defense is under ranked .centennial is hungry we are tired of people thinking we are a doormat they can wipe their cleats on . we are out to shock Ga football to let them know that we are coming . and at that feild at the hornets nest.theres gunna be a battle and we will see who has the defense

Not sure if Centennial is much of a threat unless Roswell just does not show up to play. It has happened on two other occasions and resulted in losses. Roswell’s greatest enemy seems to be nothing less than simple boredom !

Seeing this group of young men , most of who have been together since the 6-7th grade … one cannot help but wonder if they are just tired of it. They need a new, fresh source of motivation and I dont mean coaches applying reverse psychology tactics . That has yet to work.

Motivate this crew one more time and they will go all the way . If they cannot find that spark they may not last through the first round.
