Not Even Close

I am sure glad that somebody listened to my advice about “not letting their guard down.” I actually was not in attendance at the game but i was receiving constant text messaging updates. So this summary is based on what i was told and have read in the newspapers.

I was told that at the end of the first quarter the game was scoreless. I began to get a little worried. No more than 10 minutes later i received another text message update saying the score was 7-0 with about 8 minutes left in the half. Just minutes later, i received another text that said we were up 28-0. I was a bit surprised and much more relieved. At half the game was 35-0. The Lions scored 35 points ion a matter of 8 minutes. 2 TD’s came off of Asher Clark running, another from an 46 yard INT return by Kavoskee Simpson, a 54 yard TD reception by Matt Upchurch and a 1 yard run by Ronnie Smith. The second half the team put it in cruise control and ended up winning 55-7.

It really shows how fast we can score points. Our team is very dangerous. Check back later this week for my big preview for our game against #3 North Gwinnett.
