Whenever you two schools based in the same city, there is bound to be a rivalry. Starr’s Mill and McIntosh are perfect examples. For as long as I can remember, Starr’s Mill has never lost to McIntosh in football, but the rivalry lives on. This year, however, not only will this be a big game because of the rivalry, but also because it has been named the Starr’s Mill homecoming game.
Most students seem to agree that the Panthers have a better team, but McIntosh has been playing much better this year compared to past performances. This has many Panthers fans worried, but I still have faith.
McIntosh might be playing better this year, but I still am not convinced that they are better than we are. Also, since the players know the importance of this game, there is no doubt that they will do everything they can to make sure they are at the top of their game come Friday night.
Now you know my prediction, but I guess only time will tell.
