DEL.ICIO.USMcIntosh vs. Starr’s Mill this Friday

This Friday McIntosh High School plays Starr’s Mill in a game possibly more anticipated than homecoming. The Chiefs will be heading to Starr’s Mill to play against them in their 2007 homecoming. In past years, McIntosh has been considered far inferior to the all-powerful Panthers, but this year the two teams are pretty evenly matched.
McIntosh holds a 1-3 record and Starr’s Mill holds a 2-3 record. Last week Starr’s Mill lost to Banneker 27-40, a team they were supposed to win against. The week before the Chiefs also played and lost to Banneker 0-20. These records give the faithful McIntosh hope that we can win against Starr’s Mill.
Last year, McIntosh lost 0-21 against Starr’s Mill on October 6th, one day after they are scheduled to play them again this year. Hopefully this year the outcome will be different, but the only way to find out is to wait in see. All that we can be certain of is that the McIntosh fans will show up at Starr’s Mill just as spirited as if it was our homecoming.
