4-1
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Milton achieved something Friday night that they have not done in three years, win four games. The Milton Eagles are 4-1 before the bye week and looked great in their win beating Lassiter 38-21. The offense scored a touchdown on the first possession of the game and was consistent the rest of the night. Most of the offensive production came from the running game that was wide open all night resulting from a solid game from the o-line. Andrew Matthieson only threw the ball twice and completed both passes for big conversions early in the game.
The defense had another big game friday night holding the Trojans to 14 points for most of the game. Alex Accurso broke open the game with two interceptions returning them both for touchdowns. His returns took pressure off of the offense to put up all of the points and really took Lassiter out of the game. The rest of the defense did great in shutting down the run and a quality Lassiter passing game. Milton heads into the bye week with confidence having a three game winning streak. This week they will be able to rest up before they play in their first region game away against Northview.

Congrats to the Coaches. The Team was prepared and highly motivated. The Offense finally did what they are capable of. TONEY WILLIAMS ran like a his hair was on fire. This was his best effort.
The Defense was awesome again. The 5 line backers all came ready to play, and stepped up big time. How about the 2 interceptions from ALEX ACCURSO. The block made by DREW COLLINS on the second touchdown interception could be felt in the stands OUCH !
One game at a time..
Next up NORTHVIEW
