On Friday and Saturday, Lovett hosted the Block Party tournament, a prestigious volleyball tournament that it hosts annually. This year it drew 32 of the top volleyball programs from the southeast. Lovett put forth a strong performance winning 4 out of its 5 games.
In addition, the Lovett varsity volleyball team has gotten off to a great start. They are now 17-5 and looking to replicate their great performance which landed them in the State Finals last year. With most of the team returning from last year, they have a great chance to continue playing at this level.
