Norcross takes the lead 2-0

Norcross travels to Northview for the second away game; the Blue Devils battled the Titans on an astroturf field. The game began slow, with the Blue Devils making a quick three-point score. A bit of time passed when the Titans suddenly squeezed in a touchdown. The home side of the stadium roared at their little victory. But unfortunately for them, their spirit quickly diminished as that would be the only touchdown the make in the game. The seven points for the Titans was a quick wake up call for Norcross. With the “away” side of the stadium extremely packed with devoted fans, the band, and Blue Crew for the big N, the Blue Devil Varsity team went above and beyond their already high expectations. By half time, Norcross was finally in the lead. That left the band to play a fantastic half-time show, with an excited feel of beating the Titans. After the marching show, things only went uphill for the Blue Devils.

As the game approached the final minutes of the fourth quarter, the Blue Devils took down the Titans 31-7 and is currently undefeated.

The devil did what they had to do but they started slow. Against Grayson, they will need to start much faster and find their passing game.

Grayson has a good defense and special teams so the devils will have to play smart and agressive like they did last year against North Gwinnett.

This was a solid win. No matter how long it took to get rolling we still got the W. We need to look forward to a big defensive game next week when we play Grayson. They run the wing-T which is what killed us against warner robins. We need to stop the run and let nick air the ball out to devonta and brice. Their DBs are slow.

We need to quit the two quarterback system. Nick is the starter because he is the quarterback we need in this offnese. He has the better arm that can hit brice and devonta on a go route which will work about everytime. Then when thats not working he can hand it off to DJ. I dont think its that hard of a system to run and nick deserves the job because he didnt leave the school last year and then show back up after he spent two years behind bryce.

Mr or Mrs whoever you are,…If Norcross quit the two QB system Nick wouldn’t get to play. That is why we have the two QB system, so that Nick can get on the field and play. YOU obviously don’t know football. Brice and Devonta needs an athletic QB that can move and throw while someone is chasing him. So, quitting the 2 QB system would really hurt Ya Boy, not sure you want to go around recommending that.

Yea, I agree with you Doug boi. King clearly has the more upside and stronger Arm. I saw that in the spring game when he threw 60 yds and antoher 60 yds to Brice against Grayson. What game were you watching. Maybe you had too many Bubba Burgers and was a little delirious or maybe someone was blocking your view. You don’t want to go down the path of stopping the two QB systems otherwise you’ll be painfully disappointed.

I think YOU need to SHUT UP about the 2 QB System and let it play out. The two of them don’t seem to mind if they do they don’t show it. Norcross is winning with it and the team is coming together. So why don’t you get off the message board and stop causing problems for the Devils 07 Championship run.
