First Game Ends with a Big Win

What an amazing game Saturday night! The first quarter was a little rough with Mill Creek scoring a touchdown after the first five minutes, but as far as I could tell, that just pushed the Wolverines even harder. They held off Mill Creek until about 7 minutes into the second quarter where they pulled ahead with one touchdown and an extra point. At halftime the score was West-7, Mill Creek-6. I want to send out a special thanks to the West Forsyth marching band for putting on an awesome halftime show. Third quarter was graced with a touchdown by the Wolverines about 5 minutes in, followed by a another extra point kick which brought West up to 14, leaving Mill Creek down by 8 points. Fourth quarter was mostly uneventful, until the last few seconds where the game ended somewhere around the 50 yard line with the West Forsyth Wolverines winning their first game ever!

Congratulations to the Wolverines and their coaches!
