First Football Game Tonight
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
The Harrison Hoya footballers will play their first game tonight as they travel down to Valdosta to take on the Lowndes County Vikings. Kickoff is at 8 P.M. There is no doubt that the team is well prepared, so hopefully our Hoyas can pull off the victory. A win here would certainly give Harrison momentum and confidence to start off the season. The score of the game will be updated after every quarter on the ajc.com High School Sports main page. Feel free to post any comments or thoughts that you have about tonight’s game or about this year’s team in general.

I am very proud right now. Going down to Lowndes and coming back with a W is a tremendous achievement. I heard their radio announcers mention that they could not remember the last time Lowndes lost their first game or got shut-out. Nonetheless, I hope this result becomes a trend, and the hearts of the citizens of Hoya country will have hearts filled with glee.

Fantastic game. As an veteran follower of Harrison football this team has a lot to be proud of. Keep working boys….lets go All The Way To State! Nothing can limit you but yourselves. You can do anything you put your mind to. Determine it and do it.
