Hey GHSA and state of GA, having attended the games friday and watched on tv saturday, I am convinced that the state finals belong in the Dome!!! No worries about home field advantage, parking, seating, weather or field conditions. Plus the goal of getting to the dome for the state title is just better than the goal of getting to the dome for the semifinals. Leave it at the dome ghsa…that’s where the sate championships should be!!!

ECI was garbage.

Early acted like a primadonna. Moody rarely hustled and was only aggressive after the whistle was blown.

Plus, the coaches relentlessly attempted to use a power wing T formation with no wide receivers even though they had a little bit of success with some other formations.

They ran too many slow developing plays that weren’t successful, yet they rarely attempted anything different.

I thought I was going to watch Early and Moody put on a show displaying their talents, but instead the only star I saw on the field was a sophomore, Wesleyan’s Kyle Karempelis.

Ok now I can say it,Grayson is the better team, and now Ptree RIdge knows how it feels to make too many mistakes. I really hate it for them, Dont care much #7 on their team, hes another one of those guys that tackle then keeps driving his legs and feet after the play and tries to hurt someone. He got a penalty for doing that to Ian Pemberton last week. He drove all the way up Little Ians body until he put his cleat through his helmet into his face, dirty! Hey south, dont take these northern boys to lightly next year you won this one Camden, but it wasnt by far a run away.

Great team and a great game….I don’t know what some are talking about regarding the officiating…they called a good game!! …and this is from someone who didn’t have a dog in the fight!!! Hey on a lighter note….I’ve been to a lot of games through the years, but I’ve never seen two fans bring their own hornes(trumpets) to a game to get their fans fired up…THAT WAS TOO FUNNY, but I enjoyed it…LOL!!! Those two guys from Tucker fired the crowd up all night with those hornes and I was dying laughing…good stuff!!!! I can hear them now GOOOOO TUCKER TIII-GERS!!!!

Ok all you bloggers who were not impressed with Camden where are you now? It was said the reason Camden won the games they won was because the teams they played just had bad games. Well maybe they had bad games because of who they were playing. Except for a very impressive 94 yard run and a fumble right before half Camden dominated the game. Camden is the 2008 class AAAAA state champion and will end up in the top 5 in the ESPN national pole. Not bad for a team from a weak region who was unimpressive.

To Bobbylee Buford isnt ready for AAA. I think in my opinion they wouldnt have beaten Cairo or Flowery Branch. Dont get wrong Buford has excellent program I would just rather see them play up and class just like Marist does. Before you go calling out Camden I dont think Buford can beat the big dogs in Gwinnett like Grayson, Ptree, or N.Gwinnett. And freshmen and j.v doesnt count everybody knows you use you best players in a varsity game. And for Camden Co man is that defense is just awesome. Besides that one breakdown on that big run it was lights out.

Hey Graysonfan2, I heard that Camden will play Grayson next year in the Corky Classic. Hopefully it will another good one like the game in 07. I know most of your team will be back next year. Unfortunately for Camden it will be a rebuilding year team was set with a lot of seniors. Hopefully they still can make it a good game. Camden also has Nease from Fl and again state runner up Hoover from Alabama. And they say Camden doesnt play anybody and they just ran through the state best.

Greetings Bloggers,

Congrads goes out to a well deserved win To Coach Jeff Herron, and the Camden County Wildcats. From the beginning of the season I said that Camden County was for real and I didn’t believe that ANYONE in the State would beat them.

From the State Of Alabama to the State Of Florida, These group of champions ran the gamut through out the entire schedule decisively. They were non believers like Eagle Nation Rising, VikingFan that didn’t believe that Camden County was good enough to be beat them.

However; EagleNationsRising saw and felt the pain as Camden County beat a good North Side Warner Robins Football in the second round of the Playoffs.

Although Camden County didn’t get the opportunity to play the 2007 Class AAAAA State Champions Lowndes County, I believe the turnout would have been that Camden County would have beaten them as well.

For the bloggers that also didn’t believe that Camden County was for real, and stated that Camden County was in a weak Region, well my question is now what do you have to say? Camden County have beaten everyone’s best in the State in Class AAAAA and now you have no choice but to believe.

This 2008 Camden County is by far the best program that I have come to know. They are a perfect team this season, and for this, everyone should send their congrads out to them.

Again Kudos to a GREAT Camden County team. Oh, and by the way, the State Title comes to Region 3-AAAAA for all of the non believers in the other 7 Class AAAAA Regions to eat crow.

GO Wildcats you made the entire county and region 3 AAAAA proud of you. And BI and the rest of the region this title is for the entire region. Weak region but the champs come from this region, And will finish with at least a top 5 rankings in the land. Camden is losing a lot of seniors but have you seen the kids that come in and play. Those kids can start on most teams, and they got game time experience. They are ready to step in and play. Where are all the Camden haters at now. Its Basketball and the champs will probably come from region 3.Thanks to the wildcats fans you are the best. And to all north ga fans since 03. 5 of the last 6 state champs have come from south ga. Camden 2 Lowndes 3. Roswell and PeachtreeRidge shared one.

I would like to say that handing out a second place trophy is the most rediculous thing I have seen. Not one of those teams went to the Dome to get a 2nd place trophy and I am sure it didn’t make them feel any better to receive it!! Just another part of the liberal world we live in where nobody is a loser!! Well guess what someone has to lose in order for someone to win. That is what competition is all about. Before you know it they will stop keeping score so nobody’s feelings get hurt. Just like some of the pop warner games now!! You know in racing they call the car that comes in 2nd the first loser. I just think it is silly to give out a trophy to the loser!! I mean they already know what they have accomplished just to get there so GHSA quit trying to make your selves feel better!!
When these boys get to the real world their is no reward for 2nd place you either got the promotion or you didn’t! they don’t give you a raise just to make you feel better!! Am I right?

If your coach can say on live TV that Ptree Ridge was a great team and gave them a great fight, then you guys come on here and say they aint s*, that is why im saying your comments are stupid. your coach knows football over your Azzes. he knows how hard it was to win that game, you guys just sat on your butts and watched.
