Live from Martin Stadium: It’s Northside vs. Lowndes
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Just pulled into Martin Stadium. I’ll start blogging around kickoff and let you know what’shappening. If you have any questions, I’ll get to it if I can. …
It’s 6 p.m., and it’s still 85 degrees. Had to stop by the Wal-Mart and get some cargo shorts for $7 because of this South Georgia heat. … Just had a conversation with Joe Wilson, the coach of the 1980 Lowndes state championship team. What a wealth of history he is. Wilson played on Valdosta’s state champion in 1951 and was a long-time assistant under Wright Bazemore. He wanted the Valdosta job when Bazemore retired but was passed over. He wound up at Lowndes and won the Plowboys’ first title in ‘80. Says he still likes Valdosta - ‘except when they’re playing Lowndes.’
I’ll be back later.

Man, good to hear from ol’ Joe. He was the man, beating the hated Cats 7-2 in ‘77. The 7 was an INT pick 6 that was never, ever louder since.
Wish I was there, it’s going to be epic.

I grew up with Lowndes football and have been in Gwinnett since ‘92. I went to my first North Gwinnett last Friday, and all I can say is…no comparison. I don’t mean that in a bad way. Just the way it is. Football in S. Georgia is a whole ‘nother league.
Go Lowndes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now THAT’s a band. … Lowndes High Georgia Bridgemen. About 370 members, marched in the last presidential inaugural parade, been to Rose Bowl and Macy’s parade. In December of 2006, they were televised on Christmas Day in ‘very merry christmas parade’ at Disney. … This info comes from Wanda Todd, wife of band director, Charles Todd. “Music is big in the county, just like football is,” she says. “It’s brought a lot of recognition to the county. We’re very proud of them. They feel like their the 12th man on the football team.”
OK, 5 minutes till kickoff. Maybe roomm for another 100 fans on the Northside side. Nearly packed.

Matt: You know ESPN wants to play the Lowndes County vs. Valdosta game due to the fact that Valdosta was rightfully named Winnersville USA. They had to have that game. The belief was Northside was rebuilding. Of course, we all know that Northside simply reloads.

They just punted. Lowndes has teh ball 1st and 10 at their own 41 yard line with 8:41 left in the 1st half. This is the best field position that the Vikings have had all game. It was a bad punt for Northside that bounced 9 yards.

First-half highlights …
Good, hard-hitting game, as advertised. No turnovers, only a couple of penalties, although Lowndes hurt itself with a fumbled pitch and holding call that ruined a scoring chance.
Lowndes has not attempted a pass.
Northside is driving the ball better, but Lowndes is making big plays - long runs by Greg Reid and Gerald Demps.
The big-name players have come to play - Northside’s Jones & Bacon, Lowndes’ Reid & Demps, but Northside’s Eric Fields was lost early to what appears to be an ankle or knee injury and probably won’t return.
I think the game comes down to Greg Reid, in my opinion. He’ll have to make a big play for Lowndes to win. And he probably will.

Wow, what a game! It is rare that a game with this much hype lives up to it. The first half was an example of a BIG game.
Northside will get the ball to start the 2nd half. The third quarter has been the quarter that has separated Northside. The Eagles are a GREAT 3rd quarter team! In the past 50 games (49-1), Northside has only given up 50 points in 3rd quarters. It is boderline impossible to score against Northside in the 3rd quarter. Both teams have strong coaching staffs. It should be interesting.

Lowndes’ LB Kelvin Smith just intercepted Joe Scott at the Northside 31. Smith tackled Xavier Bacon for consecutive losses on the two plays prior.
That’s the best individual effort I think I’ve ever seen in one series. Strong.

Looks like Eric Fields is back in the game for Northside. He was just jawing with Greg Reid until a teammate pulled Fields away.
Next play: Looks like interference on Northside downfield. Lowndes should have a first down around the 30.
Abry Jones and Eric Fields just missed a double-team sack.

49-yard punt return for Greg Reid to the Northside 11. He made a ridiculous cutback. If he’d cut let at the 12, he would’ve scored.
Also, Northside WR CJ Styles was pretty adamant that he caught a first-down pass on the play before. I’m not convinced CJ isn’t right.

Whatever happened on that drive that put Lowndes up 13-7 was HUGE!!! I don’t care what anyone says…something VERY SIGNIFICANT happened that has Lowndes fired up and NHS down. I know it is only 14 points, but this is unchartered territory for the eagles. Getting a pick is unlikely, and fumbling not so much either. Of course all the people in the state of GA will use this as a chance to laugh it up against NHS, which is sad…cause none of their teams can hold a candle to what this program has done in the past few years.

I hope some of yall TIVOed the game, so yall can see how bad these officials were. Very questionable pass interference call that led to touchdown, assessing a Lowndes penalty against us giving them better field position on the punt return, running into punter not called. Not saying we would have won, but we would have stood a better chance without having to play against the refs too.

Sequoyah 38 -14 over #3 Dalton in 4A Region 7A play Sequoyah scored first and Dalton immediately drove for the tying score. SHS kicked FG for 10-7 lead and never looked back… 17 -7, 20 - 7, and then 27-7 at the half. DHS stopped SHS on the first possession of the 3rd and scored to make it 27-14. DHS held SHS on the next possession and appeared to be driving again before a pick by SHS led to another score and subsequent 2 pt conversion to put it out of reach at 35-14 in the 4th. SHS picked off another DHS pass on the subsequent drive and ran the last 3+ minutes off the clock…..

the officiating in all georgia high school games is at the very best questionable. Every game I go to I see calls that make absolutely no sense. And I also see a lot of non calls.
There was one tonight at Camden’s game where one official came up from the sidline and spotted the ball and one came from the other side and spotted it over a yard different. and they stood there and talked about it until one guy one the argument. I see stuff like that all the time. It is a good thing these guys keep their day jobs!!

I know you won’t. But that statement is for a lot of people who had unnecessary bones to pick with NHS and were cheering the Vikings because of it. I don’t care what anyone says: it matters not what classification you are in, it is not easy to have a streak of wins, let alone go back to back! I am sorry if Eagle fans offended you, but instead of hoping for someone to end it, why can’t you commend them for what they have done?

No one has a problem with bad calls, they happen! But from what I read here those were game changing calls! On a punt that, from my understanding, had a block in the back call, there is…conveniently, a personal foul as well. It goes from the 35…to the LHS 21 to the NHS 41? What happens on a kick off to warrant a change like that? instead of a 7-7 game that is a struggle, it becomes 13-7, off of a questionable forward pass/pitch. Just too much to read…and not having been there I don’t know what to believe, but I certainly haven’t seen anyone contesting what Todd says he saw.
All in all, Nix reverted tonight. He just didn’t have the boys ready to play this game. Truthfully, he is good for this at least once a season, usually in the playoffs, but the pressure is off to be perfect now. IMO, he needs to work on developing a more run based offense until we get a better QB back there. Scott didn’t do bad, Lowndes made plays, but every NHS fan knew it may come down to that.

camdencat that was a general statement for a lot of what I read this week, it was not directed at you!
Jaybo They had a good game tonight, but anyone is beatable any day of the week. If the vikings pass so efficiently in the future, they better pray someone doesn’t hit that run offense in the mouth. Fields wasn’t wrong in what he said IMO. However, as most eagle fans feared, we weren’t going to RUN toe to toe with Lowndes. Scott needed to be able to pass the ball. He wasn’t, save for one play, and that was the difference.

If bacon reads his blocks better the 14 carries for 84 yards should have been, 14 carries for at least 110. Go back and watch the tape. Thats why i made that comment, those few yards could be important yardage for 1st downs. So im was not implying that he is not a good back. Great athelet, paying running back. But he played a whale of a game good job to both teams, and Coach Nix should have run him more in the second half. One loss means nothing pick your selves up and live to play another day.

NHS..you earned my respect big time tonight. As advertised an awesome defense tonight. The game was much closer than the final score. On another note tonight was the first night Lowndes played #10 Telvin Smith at Linebacker and they made that move towards the second half. I think Lowndes just found themselves a star at linebacker. Wow! He had been playing defensive end all year. Lowndes is still finding itself on defense and that is the scary part. They have a tendency to be a little soft up the middle occasionally. They shut the run down the second half and that along with Lowndes playmaking ability was the difference. Awesome game as advertised and both teams deserve a big hand. I have a feeling no one is going to want to play NHS the rest of the year as my gut tells me they will take this loss and become a better team from it. Having said that it looks like another tough trip for you guys to Coffee next week. Fortunately you get Tift at home this year.

I drove over from Jax for this game and it was intense, like a playoff game. Sounds like mostly NSWR people in here, I’m surprised how many think the refs were against them because from where I sat, Lowndes seemed to get call after call against them, don’t know how many times they were like 2nd-and-25 after some other 15-yarder while nothing was getting called on the Eagles. The Eagles were not angels. As for the call that went from the 21 to the 41, it would take a replay to sort it out but I did see NS #4 apparently holding down a LHS player and not letting him get up - then he finally got up and strutted around - everyone was yelling for him to get ejected and he probably should have been. Anyway the Eagles came into this stadium and lost, the Streak is over, and there’s no sense blaming it on the refs because it wasn’t nearly as one-sided or undeserved as some of you seem to think. Bad calls went on both sides, Lowndes just appeared to have more depth because they began to take charge along the line in the second half and they executed, NS did not. You going to blame 2 TD’s and a FG all on the refs? Get real, congrats on your AAAA accomplishments, and welcome to Region 1-AAAAA.

No John in Jax…not 2 TDs and a FG, but one game changing TD. No one is saying the Eagles were angels, but a face mask is a face mask! So the LHS player was held on the ground…okay…21 yd line of your own to the 40 yd line is still a VERY steep penalty, I don’t care who was winning at the LOS, that is feild position. What was the NHS player doing? Was the kid bleeding and hurt? that is a 19 yard penalty man, and an obvious game changing event. I am not saying NHS would have won, but that was HUGE!
And it is not cute nor becoming how everyone says “welcome to 1-AAAAA” as if these teams have NEVER played each other. As if NHS has never been in AAAAA. As if this is the first time that something like this has EVER occured and by some divine grace of GOD 1-AAAAA is the supreme authority in football. Don’t get over cocky…35 games is a lot longer than 20! But I know, since it was in AAAA it doesn’t count at all huh? If anything, as weak as this region has looked so far this year, you should be glad NHS has graced you with its presence. LHS needed the win more than NHS did, be glad it was in your favor and make sure you deserve your hype/

People can say what they want about calls but that does not explain Northside’s inability to corral and tackle Greg Reid. On that first punt return he returned the ball to at least the 35 but with the malay of the fight the refs got caught up but the penalties offset each other. Honestly, He should have been tackled inside the 5 on the catch but he made an amazing 1st move. You cannot put into words the moves he made on the 2nd punt return so I won’t try. Just know that he effortlessly made a lot of good Eagles players look silly while running 85 yards just to get 50. Fields or no Fields, the best all around player on that field and in the state was wearing 24 in maroon. That includes the RB Ealy, LB Gilliard, that kid from Cartersville, Fields and whoever else. Reid is MONEY in big games and in the clutch. Please check the resume since 10th grade. I witnessed him take a good bit of division 1 shine from fellow Viking Darriet Perry from the first time he stepped on the field. There is not a big game that kid has not shown up for in his entire career at Lowndes. Enough riding his tip though, Northside has a damn good infact great team! I could see them pulling a Gator 96’ in the Sugar Bowl on Lowndes if they get a second crack at the Vikings!

Alright I want to first Congratulate Lowndes on winning a great game last night. I am a NHS Alumini and I remember when we were just happy to beat WRHS for the city championship. No one deserved to lose that game last night but we all new a streak was coming to an end. About the referees here is what I want to say. I was not at the game last night but I listened to it on the radio and from everything I read today there were some horrible calls made for both teams. The bottom line is this you still have a football game to play and Northside clearly lost it’s composure and the game in the second half. I am sure that’s what Conrad was talking about when he said that he did not have his players better prepared. It’s time for the GHSA to start reviewing their Officials much like NFL does. There has not been one time that I have attended a highschool game when I have not quesitoned several calls made that night. I am going to blame it on lack of training and knowing the rules of football. I have personally checked into becoming a referee and was really surprised at the lack of training involved. We are all human and we make errors it’s just sad that we have adults on fields every Friday night that don’t have a clue of whats going on. Northside will bounce back and become stronger from this game. As for being welcomed to the AAAAA. Those 5 letters are just a classification of your enrollment. Classifications don’t mean nothing once you step on to that field.

Lowndes’ defense dominated the game in the second half and basically shut Northside down. Keys in the game to me were big plays by REID of course, as well as Demps and Hunter. Not to take anything away from the Northside defense cause they were stingy up the middle. Lowndes just made big plays on offense and bigger plays on defense. I thought the play of #10 Telvin Smith AKA “Q-TIP” as we like to call him was awesome. It was almost like he was assigned to #21 Bacon in the 4th Quarter. He deserved the game ball on defense to me. But as we all know there is no I in TEAM, so LOWNDES as a whole came to play and won this game. Before the game the NORTHSIDE sign read HEY LOWNDES, THE REAL CHAMPIONS ARE N TOWN TONIGHT well I must say you guys were right, only they were wearing CRIMSON But thanks Northside for a good game

You are right Steve except when you put a 1 in front of AAAAA. NHS will be very competitive every year in 1AAAAA but after looking back you will see that region champs and state champs are going to be a lot harder to come by than in the past few years for NHS. So don’t discount the fact of where you have arrived until you have been here a few years and compare the results to previous years. What I am looking forward to is watching the splash 1AAAAA makes in the playoffs this year. With NHS joining the team the splash just got a whole lot bigger. According to my records NHS was undefeated in their region in AAAA the previous 3 years. 1 year in 1AAAAA and you now have 1 loss and a few heavyweights yet to play. I don’t know about you but I can see a glaring difference in the results between AAAA and AAAAA. Now I for one am very glad you guys have joined the 1AAAAA team. Last nights atmosphere reminded me of the 90’s when Valdosta/Colquit/Lowndes would get together with each other. Good stuff!

STEVE I think you are so right about these two teams meeting again in the playoffs, and as for the refs there were times when i didn’t know what they heck was going on. Heck i don’t think even the refs knew what was going on or what to call on that penalty with the Reid punt return. But on another note the players on your Northside team were HUGE. The size of that defensive line is scary. For a minute there i thought we were getting ready to play some college team LOL. But i tell ya the atmosphere at MARTIN STADIUM was amazing, but that’s what happens when two top- notched programs get together on a Friday night for a game of football. Hey, nothing buy respect for your EAGLES. Good game. Gee, thanks a lot for making our region just that much tougher now. LOL

I expect it to be a close game, with whoever takes advantage of opportunities winning. I just hope that the officials (wherever they are from) will let the players on the field decide the outcome. I don’t want to win or lose based on some BS call by an official. That only serves to give one team or the other reason to believe the best team did not win. That was a quote from me on September 29th high school blog. Unfortunately, my worst fears came true. The first half of the game was two heavyweights battling to a draw. Then, the officials started taking over. Greg Reid returns a punt from inside his 5 yard line and is tackled just shy of the 20. Lowndes is flagged for a “block in the back”. After the play, one player from each side is mixing it up and get called for “off setting personal foul” penalties. Lowndes is penalized half the distance to the goal (inside the 11). Right? Wrong!!! The officals give the ball to Lowndes at the 41. THAT DECISION TURNED THIS GAME INTO A JOKE. With the help of another penalty Lowndes punches it in and takes a 13-7 lead. Not much later, from near mid-field, Lowndes is facing a 3rd and long. They throw their one and only pass of the night. The Northside defender is badly beaten and running to catch up. He does catch up immediately AFTER the Lowndes receiver drops the ball. Northside is called for pass interference, automatic first down near the Northside 20. At this point I WALK OUT OF THE STADIUM. It is obvious to me that there is/was no way Northside will be allowed to beat Lowndes in Valdosta. What could have been a great classic, win or lose, had become a BIG JOKE. This is not just my opinion. I happened to be sitting next to three Camden fans who had travelled from Atlanta. There was also some Lowndes fans mixed in with us. Everyone of them expressed the same feelings, NORTHSIDE GOT HOSED. This is not meant to take anything away from Lowndes football team. I knew going in there was a good possibility we would have to deal with our first loss in three years. Lowndes deserved to be ranked number one. However, Lowndes is nowhere close to being 17 points better than Northside. What should have been a great second half (to match the first) was taken from the players, AND UNFORTUNATELY THE OFFICIALS BECAME THE STORY.

One word to the wise when you come to Martin Stadium as a visiting football team. Even though we have a large band never complain to the refs about them playing when you are trying to run your offensive sets. It only gets 8000-10000 fans more into the ball game and our band is loud but never as loud as 8000-10000 screaming fans when they are angry and determined to be louder than the band.

VIKINGS RULE! I predicted to my friends that our downfall to you guys would be our inablility to pass the ball. This nothing against our QB Joe Scott who has a good arm and made good throws. Right now on offense Northside is really one dimensional at running the ball with Bacon. You guys have Reid and a few more offensive weapons. NHS is going to have to get better at throwing it for us to go deep into the playoffs. You are right we might just have the toughest Region in 5A now.

Todd…Please explain, if you can, the circumstances of the play involving Reid’s punt return inside the 5 to about the 21, and the subsequent placing the ball on the 41. That is/was THE PLAY that has all of us Northside fans upset. It also changed the entire complexion of the game.

George too bad you left before Lowndes #10 became the story. Now you are about to find out what NHS does with a little adversity. Get better from it or not? That was a very good football team Lowndes played last night. Might be missing a few playmakers on offense to be a state champ but with that defense anything can happen. In the 4th quarter before Lowndes 3rd touchdown that defense was tired and beat. I could see it in them. Slow to get up and dragging around between plays. Something they aren’t used to having happen to them. Is that going to be a Mike Tyson syndrome of now that I have been beat I am no longer invincible or will they suck it up and learn from it? Time will tell. Especially if they get in another close game where they are tested.

If I understood everything I heard about that play there were (3) fouls. A block in the back by Lowndes and unsportsman like conduct on NHS and Lowndes. Now correct me if I am wrong but the unsportsman like penalties should have off set and the block in the back should have been enforced 15 yards from the spot of the foul Lowndes ball 1st and 10. This was definitely a change in momentum. Instead of being backed up inside their own 20 Lowndes got the ball near mid field and we all know what happened after that. I just hate this because I agree with George. This was such a great game to only have the refs cheat the fans and both teams. Trust me I would have been saying the same things about the officiating even if NHS would have won. The GHSA has to do something because it’s getting out of hand.

OK - all arm chair quarterbacks and Referees. You can reply the game all week. It will be on every evening until Friday on CBS College - on MediaCom, if you have the sports package, and on Direct TV - so get with a friend if you cannot get it at your house to see a fantastic game. They showed the pass reception in question 3 times - from what they played from 3-4 angles - trapped ball. One angle you see the ball hit the ground as his arms come around - very close call by the ref it could have gone either way - with a review (not in HS football) it would have been no catch. The lateral was right at parallel.. but what a game watching here in Colorado.
Northside and Tift and Northside and Coffee should be great games!
I like the way the crowd noise came across the TV when they told the LHS band to stop playing.

YO I totally agree that by the 4th Quarter that Northside defense appeared fatigued. I really think it would of happened a lot sooner if this game hadn’t been televised. I felt all those commercial breaks gave that BIG defense of Northside time to rest. Without that i feel that defense would of showed signs of fatigue much earlier.

I am the first to admit when a game has been played well. I am the first to admit when we just couldn’t get it done. As I have stated many times before NOT THAT NORTHSIDE WOULD HAVE WON THE GAME…BUT THOSE CALLS ARE HUGE !!!
Take ur arrogant comments somewhere else please. I am not bitter. I have seen game after game slip away to Warner Robins High school in my 25 years, I am very familiar with hard fought battles and BS. For your arrogant sake…let’s hope that your school doesn’t need any game changing penalties and ball spots when they hit the road in Coffee and Warner Robins later this season. That game was won on the feild AFTERWARDS. For all we know NHS would have gone up by 14-13 with LHS so deep in their territory. Instead they get great feild position. People don’t want to give NHS any credit for anything. They see 28-14 against Valdosta and respond by saying “VHS almost came back” you south GA boys are going to get a wake up call. And it will probably be this year when you fail to make it to the Dome.
I admit that NHS didn’t get it done on the feild, the least some of your fans can do is acknowledge home cooking. Once again, no one is saying NHS would have won, but it takes the aura out of an otherwise great game. In all my years of seeing LHS vs NHS, I have loved to watch it cause I know it is a hard fought classic game, and the better team doesn’t always come out on top. I am ashamed that this happened in Lowndes, cause it didn’t happen like that when you came to WR. It didn’t happen like that when we lost in the Dome.

There is nothing worse than a sore loser. Im a former player. The play did not result in a touchdown only a first down at the 41. Buckle your chinstrap and knock someone in the mouth and get the ball back. A teams takes on the personality of the coach. Call timeout and get your composure back. No you complain and let them go down an score. Hit someone. I said all week when or if NSWR lost it will be and excuse. Suck it up the season is not over. You talked so much trash for the last 6 weeks. You better get to work if not you will be staring at another lost against Coffee. I do not hear anyone from NSWR complaing about the call in the Carver game, when Carver scored to take the lead. I watched that game on gpb.org, very questionable call. That call gave you guys a victory. If not for that call you might be looking at a third lost this week. My point in all this is, you get some breaks they all may not be in your favor, but its how you react. Its over get ready for coffee. Great defense, need more offense, more speed.

All in all, it is not surprising to see NHS lose such a big game like this. I venture to say the pressure was higher than in the past 2 championship games. In the past 2 times when NHS faces a #1 vs #2 matchup, they always seem to be the # 2…and by triple zero deservedly so.
They will be fine, but Nix is going to have the boys better prepared the next time hopefully.

TRUBLU- Your tears continue to amaze me! You are so BITTER and EMOTIONAL that you fail to aknowledge the fact that I clearly stated that your team is great as well as also clearly stating that if they met again, their was a good possibility that they could beat us and I said that we were honored to have the Eagles in the region so what more do you want?! I hope that you don’t expect me to go all Monica Lieuwinkski on Northside Warner Robins cause it won’t happen. At least some of your fans can accept defeat gracefully and admit that it was not about the refs but the plays on the field. You remind me of those BITTER Wildcats fans that have become so spoiled by consistently winning that it is hard to swallow the pill down your throat that you are no longer the bully on the block. And 25 years of calls against your crosstown rivals, man please spare me cause if I your mentality I could say the same thing regarding Valdosta. As for ARROGANCE, It was not our superstar who was all over the internet giving his big talk interviews about how he was gonna do this and that. We spoke with our play. You still can’t give me a valid response to the 100% fact that Greg Reid should have been tackled at the 5 yard line so it should not have made it to the point of needing referees to make the proper call. I’m not a know it all but after the conferring, the refs just spotted the ball to where Reid was tackled. I was under the impression that there were only the two offsetting infractions. If there was a third then you do have a valid issue. That still doesn’t justify your McCain mentality! If we did not start a war, we would not have gotten to the point where we needed a surge! But all you( should I say he) wants to talk about is the surge! No disrepect to the soldiers as I am a dependant by using that to make a contrast. If you don’t start a war that you were wrong about the whole time, don’t still be trying to talk me to death about no surge. If you make the tackle at the 5 that you should have made, no need for referee intervention. Address the real issue with your team, they did not wrap up and tackle for a full 4 quarters friday night point blank period. And the fact that we did not tackle on one play along with excellent execution is the only reason you even got 7 points on the board. Don’t make the refs the goats because they never affected the points you put on the board though in the stands that did look like a third down catch to me. From what I read here the replays on tv showed that it was a trap so…..I’m done talking you to death. On to Winnersville. Y’all go ahead and get ready for a further reality check with Coffee!!!

I’m no official and I haven’t seen the game replay, but this is my thought on the calls. The officials unclear explanation of the penalties is the problem. The initial call was offensive holding on LHS with two personal foul calls, which offset. That would have put the ball half the distance to the goal from the spot of the foul…first down LHS. But I believe the officials intended to call defensive holding on NSWR along with two unsportsmanlike conduct penalties, which offset. That gives the ball to LHS 10 yards from the spot of that foul which occurred at the 31? (ball returned to about the 21)…giving LHS the ball at the 41. That’s the best I can figure. The next penalty on that drive was an obvious facemask…c’mon. The pass interference may have been questionable, but if it was NSWR on offense, you would want that call too. Otherwise, great game. Two very good football teams, well coached got after each other and the best team that night won. LHS playmakers were the difference. That call on the punt return hurt NSWR, but was not the difference. After manhandling LHS offensive and defensive lines in the first half, NSWR just couldn’t keep it up…maybe fatigue set in as stated earlier. Good luck to both teams the rest of the season. Would be a great rematch in the dome!
