I’m never wrong, sometimes — take Roswell
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
My published preseason prediction: Peachtree will struggle to live up to the hype and will finish 7-3. I also drafted LaDainian Tomlinson with my first pick (No. 3 overall) in a fantasy football draft.
Clearly, I’m never wrong.
The hype that surrounded the Ridge stemmed from a team filled with D-I talent. The struggle would come from a team that had has its fair share of infighting. From players getting in fights and yelling at coaches to passionate parents griping about playing time, Ridge coach Blair Armstrong has dealt with it all. Even if he loses in Saturday’s 5A final, he’s coach of the year hands down. Yet, on Nov. 21, I failed to even list him in the candidates for Gwinnett coach of the year.
Clearly, I’m wrong a lot.
I’ll let you decide which I am this week — Roswell, 24-13

I like your pick! I also agree that the Ptree Ridge coach deserves a look for coach of the year honors, but that Roswell coach with all those juniors and sophmores playing this year deserves a look also.Roswell wins with more offense/24-14

I think it will be closer, more like 14-7 or 10-7, but I pick Roswell.

I just was doing my daily reading and I never look at what you write because you’re always reporting the incorrect information…not to mention your lack of prophetic predictions. You’re still the same after 13.5 years in the business. Please go back to providing us with the crossword puzzle answers. You know your crossword games. Peachtree will win this one.

Neil … Thanks for reading, but I’ve only been in the biz five years. So in this case, it is you reporting the incorrect information. Secondly, I don’t have the patience for crosswords, but I’m very good at telling you where pro players went to college.

David, I say they should tie so that these two “feel good” teams can feel good forever. Yet, I’ve a gut feeling that Roswell will win, too. Also, I see you’ve been covering Peachtree Ridge/Roswell but you’ve no picks for the rest of the finals? C’mon! You’ve gotta have some!
Neil, is a loser.
