What should be Michelle Obama’s legacy as First Lady?
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
An Associated Press story notes that Michelle Obama has “been compared to Jacqueline Kennedy, is every bit as high-powered as Hillary Rodham Clinton was and has praised Laura Bush’s calm and rational approach to issues.
“So what kind of first lady will Michelle Obama be?”
The AP article continues:
“It may be too soon to know — she’s probably still trying to figure it all out herself. This much is certain: She will be the kind of first lady this country hasn’t seen in decades: the mother of young children.”
Which First Lady do you think Michelle Obama will most be like? Or do you think she will carve her own legacy?

“What will be Michelle Obama’s legacy as first lady?”
Michelle Obama’s disasterous legacy as first lady will be as a black marxist who was only proud of her country after white people voted for her and her husband’s dangerous brand of radical facist communism to spite Bush!

How about waiting until she officially becomes the first Lady. Then again maybe he is just made because he does not have the courage, fortitude, depth and will power to accomplish any of what this woman already has in her life. Go ahead and blog again and call her what you really want to call her but dont have the guts to. I keep articles and comments like that just to show young people what some of the citizens of this country think.

What about Amy Carter or Chelsea Clinton?? Were they not young when entering the White House? And OMG!, is Michelle Obama really as air headed as Jacqueline Kennedy!? What progressive moron made that detrimental comparison!!??
Come on AJC.., I mean really, do you guys even bother reading this AP crap before parroting it as your own opinion??

Hopefully Michelle will be just that.., first lady.
After all.., we’ve already seen the disasterous effects of a first lady dubiously distracted by policy.

I just hope she gets some wardrobe advice, and soon! Whoever is giving her these dresses to wear, or telling her she looks good, needs a reality check.

First Lady Michelle Obama will be just fine. She should not be compared to anyone, because we are all unique. It’s amazing how well-educated, open minded women, so-called progressive women become afraid at the site of someone that does not look like them. Neither Michelle Obama nor her husband are Marxist. Get a grip. They won’t turn you all into slaves!

I think Michelle Obama will be a very gracious First Lady in her own way..Not only is she intelligent, but has that certain poise about herself that will reflect a First Lady..and to comment on By Scrappy remarks…So far every outfit that I have seen Michelle Obama wear has been fitting her quite well. I think she really has it going on…So stop hating and move on with your life..who knows maybe you need a reality check…

O.J Kookman…we rebuke you in the name of Jesus..lol…4real though….we pray that the Obama family has a successful tenure in the White House and God will prepare a table before them in the presence of their enemies..we pray that the family unit becomes stronger by being led by example. we pray that Obama makes right decisions not by the color of his skin but by his ability to love and unite all. we pray that Obama has a shield of protection around him that no weapon formed against him shall prosper. we pray that Obama will begin to seek God in his personal relationship with GOd and that God will use him to bring this nation into a nation of peace and prosperity and that THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA will truly be ONE NATION UNDER GOD……

Michelle Obama will be a great First Lady. She will be the FIRST LADY that represents that all women in america are unique and different. She will be so different and unique that we can continue to encourage our young girls that they TOO are little queens that may one day grow up to be married to a PRESIDENT…..History has been made….Michelle Obama is a TRENDSETTER….A PATHFINDER…..A WOMAN THAT WE CAN ALL PRAY FOR AND LOVE

I think even though her background is more similar to HRC (in that they are both lawyers), I really think that when she becomes First Lady it’ll be more in the style of Laura Bush. I believe that Michelle Obama’s first priority will be the girls and being a mom to them which will in turn make her more of a kinder, gentler first lady. Most people who know her say that she doesn’t have any interest in policy except for focusing on working and military families.

Great, racial diatribe on the very first post. It must be a miserable existence to hate people simply because they are different from you.

Just my 2 cents, but….
Since there’s no safe way to say it, I’ll just say it:
How can you be a democrat and then say something like (above) “It’s in God’s hands”??
Is it in God’s hand when that abortion doctor kills that unborn baby? Didn’t think so. Now I’m in no way a democrat hater, but I am anti-Obama. All that aside, if you’re pro choice, you have no right to mention ANYTHING about “God’s way”. I don’t even go to church all the time, hardly ever in fact, but at least i don’t condone murder. If it were God’s way, the baby would die in the womb naturally if it weren’t supposed to be born.
Can anyone explain why people can claim to be so Godly, yet vote for killing unborn children?
Just my 2 cents. Oh, and Michelle’s legacy will be whatever she wants it to be, I mean, she’s finally proud to be an American after living under our blanket of Freedon for how many years? SHEESH!

To it is what it is: I don’t want my little girls to think they can grow up to marry a president, I want them to think they can grow up to BE president.

I don’t need to move on, I like her, and voted for her husband, I’m just being honest. I think she can do a lot of good, but she could look better doing it. Hillary went through the same thing when she was first lady, I think they all made fun of her hair though.
That dress she wore on election night was hideous! That red and black thing, very ugly and was distracting. The girls looked nice though.

What should it be??? It should be what she has earned when her tenure is over. Lets just hope she learns to be proud of our country, which has by the way proven to be the most racially tolerant state in the world, contrary to the rantings of the race baiters and doomsayers.
Name another significant country that has had an elected leader who’s race is that of a significant minority of said countries population This should be a proud day, lets hope our new president slides at least within arms length of the middle so he can make the most of it

I didn’t vote for Obama, but I will respect the office of president. With that said I loved the dress that Michelle wore election night..Made her look young & hip, not old & fuddy duddy…It will take us a couple of years to see how they will be as first couple, so everyone give it time..

Let’s face it… Michelle is ugly. I am not saying that to be unkind, but she is just plain homely. What is up with the deformed jaw? She needs to be dressed to the “T” to get you past her looks. And I doubt seriously that she is going to be a good little housewife and mother. She is prob going to be a terror to deal with….I see a Republican Government again in 4 years…
