This debate is NOT FAIR to McCain! 9:00PM has to be past his bedtime!
Obama will serve McCain up in short order tonight. One maverick going down.
Seriously folks, I have been serious here…McCain is toast.

The Obama camp is using the Keating deal against McCain, what a joke. McCain has already said that was the biggest mistake of his life and he was found to have done nothing wrong. At least he admitted it was a mistake to be associated with the deal.
Obama on the other hand has made (still making) many questionable choices, Ayers, Wright, Rezko, Johnson, ACORN and on and on. The difference is, he isn’t man enough to admit his mistakes and instead tries to defend them.
I want a President that is associated with a man that bombs buildings that are paid for with my tax dollars and then not only admits it but is in a recent photo stomping on an American flag. I want a President that has had a spiritual advisor that is as anti-American as anyone can get. I want a President that has advisors on his economic policies that have ridden their financial institutions into the ground.
- NOT -
If that’s what you want, punch the Democratic ticket in four weeks. Your choice.

The problem with this whole mess is that people don’t have a good memory. All the mess we are in was not started by George Bush, but by Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton. The Democrats cannot run this country. Okay, let’s pull out of Iraq, and let’s lower our defense’s. That is what will be the downfall of this country. We are deteriorating from the inside and will be vulnerable from the outside, just as the Romans were, just as the Germans, just as the Soviet Union, just as the Greeks, just as the Japanese. Read your history books, if you can get away from this BS.

Tonight McCain will force Obama to tell the truth. No more lies.
Obama is for higher taxes and bigger government. With a trillion dollars in new government programs someone has to pay the bill and it is not just the those earning over $250K per year.
Wake up America, Obama already has his hand reaching for your wallet!!!.

This Ayers thing about Obama is downright stupid. People, please! Obama sat on a board with Ayers along with several other people, INCLUDING REPUBLICANS! It was a board to help children in poverty. He is not friends with Ayers and Ayers has become a solid citizen. If he wasn’t he’d be in jail. McCain/Palin are just trying to distract the American people to get them away from the issues. Wise up, people. McCain/Palin are a joke!

Lou - Great comment!
McCain - Palin 2008 - You’re an idiot!
How could anyone in their right mind vote for a man who has voted 90% of the time with the jacka** who’s responsible for the mess our economy is in? McSame keeps preaching change, but if he was so interested in change, he wouldn’t have voted with George W 90% of the time. I wouldn’t care if Obama was black, white or Smurf Blue, as long as he can get this country back on track or somewhere close to it. Myself, like a lot of homeowners, are stuck with homes we can’t sell and adjustable rate mortgages that we can’t refinance out of. Not to mention the huge unemployment rate. That has affected me as well because my employer sent my $15 per hour job to some guy in India who could do it $2 a day. I’m sick and I’m tired of the way things are. McSame isn’t offering anything that will benefit me because I don’t make over $250,000 per year. I want, no I NEED a change that’s going to benefit ME.

No one can understand why this war needs to be over until they have a loved one over there. Carrying the phone with you everywhere, even to the bathroom, because you don’t want to miss one of the very few calls they can make. Obama’s political career was launched in Ayers’ livingroom. It is more than a casual friendship.

Has anyone noticed the economy has really taken a nose dive since Obama started gaining in the polls? Just a hint to the American people. Fix the economy by electing John McCain. The people that invest want John McCain to be president. When Obama started surging in the polls the confidence of those people went down and they pulled out of the market. Lets get real could our economy really take Obama as President.

Oh the way the Democrats operate - disagree with someone so you call them names. Typical.
Now to your comments, I guess I would rather vote for someone that disagrees with his President 10% of his time than someone that is afraid to vote against his party. By the way, Obama voted over half the time (when he voted something besides “present”) with Bush.
Nice try with the McSame name too. I guess maybe I can lower myself to your standards and remind you of how close Obama Biden sound to Osama bin Laden….

Would you want the government who created and runs the IRS and allows financial irresponsiblity like Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to also govern your health care? Just think, with government sponsored health care you would have to wait for approval for medical treatment. This is socialized medicine. Countries with socialized medicine have more people dying from non-life threatening illness than other industrialized nations. Vote Obama and you’ll move our country into socialism and have government (socialized medicine) health care.

McCain funded the Taliban, helped Iran get arms, and help torture people. Let’s face it, he is loosing on the real issues so his last result is try and bash character and associates. That’s like saying I am a terrorist, when I only met Huey Newton twice as a kid. What McCain is doing is a diversion and those with small minds and homes on wheels will believe that crap. He has stated that he doesnt understand the economy so many times I lost count. I guess economics is not a subject taught at the Naval Academy during that time, or maybe he was to busy being a “Maverick” to learn economics.

Obama is so desperate now that he is not only lying about McCain but Obama is lying about himself. For example, he has a friend in Bill Ayers and now says he doesn’t.
No one likes a liar. Obama changes his story in order to get votes. How do you know what he’ll do when IF in a leadership position if he is so desperate to lie now. If his plans are so great, he doesn’t need to lie about the plans of his oponent. But, Obama doesn’t have any plans until his oponent does. Then he just takes the plans of his oponent and calls them his own. Next he lies about his oponent. I thought this only showed up in the movies. Oh, but now, it’s in the media and in Obama’s story everyday. Vote McCain — no need to lie, just tell the truth.

McCain - Palin 2008 - That’s cool. I’ll be an idiot. An idiot for the next president (Obama) and you will just have to deal with it.
Debbie - Obviously you haven’t done your research on socialized medicine as you call it. In government run health care systems, the health care providers (doctors, nurses, etc.) actually get bonuses based on the how many patients they make and keep well. Everybody loves bonuses so of course you do your job to get one.

To anyone who is commenting against Obama, you have to be white! Sorry, but i’m the to type who gets straight to the point and not beat around the bush. In all honesty, the reason why most Caucasians are so against him is because of his ethnicity. I believe that if Obama was white, Mccain wouldn’t even be up for discussion becuase Mccain has a terrible vice president (who by the way has an irresponsible daughter), and they never speak upon the main focus.. which is the economy. They are always attacking Obama! We as americans need to know what is best for our country. I don’t hate Mccain/Palin but i dont believe they are meant to bring a better America. Tom, Get It Right is only telling the truth. Sometimes the truth hurts. This is coming from someone that is educated and is a veteran of the United States Navy. Yes, white people are voting for Obama but a large percentage of white people are supporting McCain/Palin only because they cannot bring themselves to vote for a person of color (since Obama is half white and black). Face it there are still racist people and yes there are those that are black that will vote for Obama because he is black. So there you have it from an educated person as you call it.

As for race being a factor… well let’s just call a spade a spade. Yes there are some white people voting for Obama and I applaud them for being able to look past race and focus on who’s best to get our country back on track. It has already been said and confirmed that a lot of white people will not vote for Obama just because he is black, not even acknowledging he is half white. These white voters do not agree with McSame, but they are willing to let this country suffer even more just because of something stupid like race. Democrats And Editorials Have Criticized Barack Obama’s Statements On Pakistan:
Joe Biden: “The Last Thing You Want To Do Is Telegraph To The Folks In Pakistan That We’re About To Violate Quote ‘Their Sovereignty.’” Question: “Senator Obama said in a speech today that he would send troops into Pakistan. Do you think this is a good idea or does this show inexperience in foreign policy?” Sen. Biden: “Yes.” Question: “Does this show inexperience?” Sen. Biden: “My answer was yes to the question. … The last thing you want to do is telegraph to the folks in Pakistan that we’re about to violate quote ‘their sovereignty,’ putting Musharraf in a position that makes it virtually impossible for him to do anything other than what he’s done.” (Sen. Joe Biden, Remarks At The National Press Club, Washington, DC, 8/1/07)
Senator Hillary Clinton: “Senator Obama Said, Yes, Last Summer He Basically Threatened To Bomb Pakistan, Which I Don’t Think Was A Particularly Wise Position To Take.” Clinton: “And on a number of other issues, I just believe that, you know, as Senator Obama said, yes, last summer he basically threatened to bomb Pakistan, which I don’t think was a particularly wise position to take.” (Sen. Clinton, NBC Democrat Presidential Debate, Cleveland, OH, 2/26/08)
Los Angeles Times: Barack Obama’s Vow To “Violate Pakistani Sovereignty And International Law” Could Possibly Show That Pakistan Is A U.S. Puppet And Could “Empower Radical Islamists.” “Second, the best way to empower radical Islamists in Pakistan is to offer proof of their views that Musharraf is a U.S. puppet and that the United States is a fair-weather friend with no respect for the Pakistani nation. Democratic presidential candidates Sens. Barack Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton did our national interest a disservice last week when, to score political ‘tougher than thou’ points, they recklessly vowed to violate Pakistani sovereignty and international law. Pakistanis of many stripes were outraged.” (Editorial, “Strategic Silence,” Los Angeles Times, 8/7/07)
Daily News: Barack Obama’s Statement That He Would Bomb Pakistan Was “Not A Display Of Presidential Wisdom.” “It would not be unreasonable, under the right circumstances, to bombard an Al Qaeda aerie in Pakistan. But saying so outright is not a display of presidential wisdom. Pakistan is, after all, a nuclear-capable ally under intense pressure from Muslim hard-liners.” (Editorial, “Bumbling Obama,” [New York] Daily News, 8/3/07)

Well done Fact Check! Unfortunately, people have their minds made up period. Nobody likes to think for themselves or seek out truth today. As a mass public, we are weakly unintelligent. But individually, we are extremely smart.
Those who have done their homework and are voting on the pure issues and how it affects their own lives are the people who I respect the most. I respect you for thinking on your own regardless of the candidate. I hope every registered voter votes on each and every election. Good luck to both candidates.

Ha Ha Ha - Like CNN (Comunist News Network) cares about facts.
Just remember that Obama will be the second coming of Jimmy Carter. If that isn’t enough to change your vote then I don’t know what would be. Bush may not be the best but he is stll better than the worst we have had (Carter)
You have been drinking the Kool Aid if you think McCain is the same a Bush. Listen enough to the lies that you are believing them.

Posting on the blog is a waste. All you are doing is giving free press for the AJC. Stop doing their work for them, they already do nothing anyway.
