How would you advise Hillary Clinton?

If you were Hillary Clinton’s campaign chief how would you advise her after Barrack Obama’s string of primary and caucus wins? With major news organizations calling the Virginia contest for Obama — pre-election polling in Maryland and Washington D.C. which also held primaries Tuesday showed them headed for Obama’s column, as well— the Illinois senator apparently will now hold the lead in pledged delegates. Clearly Obama has what political ‘experts’ consider to be that very important momentum.

So what can the senator from New York do to keep her campaign alive? Can Clinton hold on to her support, including those now much sought after Democratic convention super delegates, until March when Ohio and Texas, which are expected to be friendlier territory for her, go to the polls?

QUIT PLAYING NICE AND GO AFTER OBAMA! Obama’s slogan should not be Change We Can Believe In, it should be Change So Vague It’s Unbelievable! He’s just talking about two vague concepts of hope and change. Challenge him on the issues and knowledge.

My advice would be don’t worry! We will never have a negro president in this country. I know you pathetic democrats think it is right to tax the rich and give to the poor but wow are you wrong. How would you feel if you EARNED a college degree and had a good job that paid $100K. Then, MORE of your money goes to some thug who did not graduate high school who works at McDonalds and has 7 kids. You think that is right? Wow. Go McCain!!!

In state’s with open primaries, Republicans are crossing over to vote for Obama on the democratic ticket because they know in the general election he will lose to McCain.

Hillary Clinton will pay the price because the Republicans know Obama will never take the White House.

focus more on the topics at hand; the economy, IMMIGRATION, the military, HEALTHCARE, the diminishing middle class, outsourcing. She thinks for some reason that she has something to prove. OBAMA is too word suavvy, and his focus really isnt too much on Hiliary but on Change. She’s worried about the wrong things…oh and for the ignorant people who are able to notice rhyme schemes instead of facts Obama is bi-racia and he is NOT a muslim or terrorist. C’mon what year is it lol…

I voted for a man who happens to be African-American, not because he is an African-American man. I voted for Mr. Obama because of his character, family values, and promises of much needed change. I am an uppper middle-class African-American female.

Had Billary not thrown in the racial comments last month, I was on the fence. I heard the statements the Clintons made regarding the “fairy tale dreams”, “Jesse Jackson also won SC”, and “President Johnson was responsible for the passing of the civil rights bill” which totally turned me off.

First - Chris you are an ignorate fool - nobody but a Klan member uses the word “negro”. Hillary - you lost all credit with the thinking Americans when you “cried”. Anyone with two brain cells can see right through that little “dog and pony” show. Let Obama stand on hhis own (he can!) and let Americans vote for the best man - whether it is McCain, Huckabee or Obama.

Chris, are you serious? How many people “earn” a college degree? College is a joke if you have half a brain (unless you go into some science). God forbid you have to spend four years in Athens, drinking three nights a week and chasing pretty girls while your parents pay the bills: that is torture. Quit b**ing because your “hard-earned money” is being used to help someone who needs it. I have earned a college degree (while working two jobs) and I am currently in law school. I have been blessed; I want to share it with others, not selfishly keep it for myself.

Dig up all the dirt you can on Obama:

2 pack a day cigarette addict, why? Change to what? Does he really believe in the crazy, radical religion and church he belongs to? Why a Muslim name? Why has he not spoken out on the genocide going on in his father’s land-Kenya? Why would he pull out of Iraq and let it collapse into anarchy? Does he thin Iran is a threat? If so, what to do about it? Is the country in a recession, how to fix it? What, specifically, is so wrong with the USA that he wants to change? How is he to pay for all his promises?

The list goes on—-take him on, make him list specifics. He is going to bust rhymes all the way to the White House if she doesn’t call him out.

He is an empty suit

all i ask is chris to see the bigger picture. Despite what he thinks that thug has no face…Whites and Blacks are struggling. The middle class is diminishing. The economy is in shambbles because America is seeing white and black in this election not Rich and Poor. If we dont change our thinking then we are destined for anarchy. If the masses arent appeased revolt is inevitable. So if I have to pay extra taxes on BMW or my house im fine with it if it promotes stability and a society where my children can go to the atm without being murdered by that thug so that his 7 children can eat. Oh and im a 20yr old black male no kids, 2 jobs, in college, no debt, and I’m voting for the best candidate for the job, not just the black guy!!!

Chris - Tonight before you go to sleep you should get on your knees and pray for forgiveness. You are the very reason that we have issues in the world today. I have served 22 years in the military, fighting for things that the average American would not. I have NEVER seen a time, during my 22 years and 4 active wars. There was NEVER a time when people have looked upon me as an African American, a Woman, a Wife, a MOTHER or a DAUGHTER. No, I was simply judged upon the basis of my character, my commitment, my love of my GREAT country (United States of American) which I proudly call my home. Atlanta Georgia being my place of birth, I must say that to reading your comments really saddens me to know that there’s still people in 2008 who feel the way that you do. Tell me what makes you that you can judge another human being? Are you a silent candidate in the race? No, just someone being part PROBLEM rather than looking towards tomorrow for a SOLUTION to our many problems such as the economy, war, hunger, insurance/uninsured, immigration, race and many others. At what point are you all going to stop trying to make the election about race? It is not working.

Most Americans are much smarter than those on these boards and the media that keep trying to convince others not to vote for Obama because of his race. You people are getting left behind.

To think that Americans are so shallow that we would not vote for Barack because of his races.

Anybody still saying Barack doesn’t have substance, haven’t listen to him. But, I can understand that because the only thing I can remember McCain saying was “we are going to be at war my friends”.

I’ve had enough of Republicans. They have been terrible at governing. They won’t be getting my vote again unless the democrats perform worse than Bush. That’s gonna be hard to do

I’m appalled at some of the racist and shallow comments made. I am not surprised though, as Georgia’s appititude is hovering around last place in the nation. What more can one expect?

Moving beyond this, I think Hillary should stay the course and not be discouraged by Obama’s recent momentum. Ultimately, I think Obama has a solid and believable position. Read his literature and there you will find the details you seek on policy. He is not an empty suit as one person said. The suit paradigm doesn’t even fit him. That analogy merely shows that you are stuck in a box that reeks of comfort and normalcy; an equivocal white man who will do no more for this country than ‘W’.

First things first, Obama is half white so why is that everyone that is half white is considered black, I don’t get that. Secondly, Obama talks a good game but does not have the experience to handle being the commander in chief, I have to agree with a lot of the bloggers there are no tough questions asked of Obama, all he says is change. Okay,so go with that but tell us what you’re going to change and how your going to do it. This is a serious decision people not a “who can talk the best game”!

Bill says: Hillary never wanted to run for public office, but she did want to work at public service.

The facts are: When Clinton was considering not running for another term as Governor of Arkansas in 1990, Hillary said she would run if he didn’t. She and Bill even had me take two surveys to assess her chances of winning. The conclusion was that she couldn’t win because people would just see her as a seat warmer for when Bill came back licking his wounds after losing for president. So she didn’t run. Bill did and won. But there is no question she had her eye on public office, as opposed to service, long ago.

Bill says: In law school Hillary worked on legal services for the poor.

The facts are: Hillary’s main extra-curricular activity in law school was helping the Black Panthers, on trial in Connecticut for torturing and killing a federal agent. She went to court every day as part of a law student monitoring committee trying to spot civil rights violations and develop grounds for appeal.

Bill says: Hillary spent a year after graduation working on a children’s rights project for poor kids.

The facts are: Hillary interned with Bob Truehaft, the head of the California Communist Party. She met Bob when he represented the Panthers and traveled all the way to San Francisco to take an internship with him.

Bill says: Hillary could have written her own job ticket, but she turned down all the lucrative job offers.

The facts are: She flunked the DC bar exam and only passed the Arkansas bar. She had no job offers in Arkansas and only got hired by the University of Arkansas Law School at Fayetteville because Bill was already teaching there. She only joined the prestigious Rose Law Firm after Bill became Attorney General and made partner only after he was elected governor.

Bill says: President Carter appointed Hillary to the Legal Services Board of Directors and she became its chairman.

The facts are: The appointment was in exchange for Bill’s support for Carter in his 1980 primary against Ted Kennedy. Hillary became chairman in a coup in which she won a majority away from Carter’s choice to be chairman.

Bill says: She served on the board of the Arkansas Children’s Hospital.

The facts are: Yes she did. But her main board activity, not mentioned by Bill, was to sit on the Wal-Mart board of directors, for a substantial fee. She was silent about their labor and health care practices.

Bill says: Hillary didn’t succeed at getting health care for all Americans in 1994 but she kept working at it and helped to create the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) that provides five million children with health insurance.

The facts are: Hillary had nothing to do with creating CHIP. It was included in the budget deal between Clinton and Republican Majority Leader Senator Trent Lott. I helped to negotiate the deal. The money came half from the budget deal and half from the Attorney Generals’ tobacco settlement. Hillary had nothing to do with either source of funds.

Bill says: Hillary was the face of America all over the world

The facts are: Her visits were part of a program to get her out of town so that Bill would not appear weak by feeding stories that Hillary was running the White House. Her visits abroad were entirely touristic and symbolic and there was no substantive diplomacy on any of them

Bill says: Hillary was an excellent Senator who kept fighting for children’s and women’s issues.

The facts are: Other than totally meaningless legislation like changing the names on courthouses and post offices, she has passed only four substantive pieces of legislation. One set up a national park in Puerto Rico. A second provided respite care for family members helping their relatives through Alzheimer’s or other conditions. And two were routine bills to aid 9-11 victims and responders which were sponsored by the entire NY delegation.

Here is what bothers me more than anything else about Hillary Clinton. She has done everything possible to weaken the President and our country when it comes to the war on terror. !.

  • She wants to close GITMO & move the combatants to the USA where they would have access to our legal system.

  • She wants to eliminate the monitoring of suspected Al Qaeda phone calls to/from the USA .

  • She wants to grant constitutional rights to enemy combatants captured on the battlefield.

  • She wants to eliminate the monitoring of money transfers between suspected Al Qaeda cells & supporters In the USA .

  • She wants to eliminate the type of interrogation tactics used by the military & CIA where coercion might be used when questioning known terrorists even though such tactics might save American lives.

  • I can’t think of a single bill Hillary has introduced or a single comment she has made that would tend to strengthen our country in the War on Terror. But, I can think of a lot of comments she has made that weakens our country & makes it a more dangerous situation for all of us……..She goes hand in hand with the ACLU on far too many issues where common sense is abandoned.

She is a disaster for all Americans.

Sen. Clinton wants to receive credit for the successes of her husband’s administration, but not the baggage associated with it; the voters are too smart for that. We simply do not want to open old wounds.

And to gg - I share your sentiments exactly. Also, I will let you know why Obama will be our next president, I am white male professional and I believe wholeheartedly that Sen. Obama cares just as much about me and my family as he does about yours. The Clintons interjected race into this campaign and in so doing alienated a core constituency; a constituency that had to fight incredibly hard for their right to vote (and despite Sen. Clinton’s intimations - did so through the strength of non-violence, not through the gift of President Johnson) and takes the responsiblity very seriously.

I believe Sen. Clinton has learned that America’s presidents are elected, not crowned. It is time to step aside.

why does the AJC even waste time asking a question like this? There are way too many ignorant and racist people that thrive on comment boards like this - especially in GA (ex: muslim name, referring to Obama as a “negro” etc). Even AJC comment boards that have nothing to do with race break down into ignorant name-calling. The story of Obama sweeping the Potamac Primary speaks for itself. The voters are deciding and they are turning their backs on the type of thinking (or lack therof), divisiveness, ignorance and racism espoused on these message boards.

Anyone who votes for either of these socialists should be waterboarded just for their general idiocy. Look at the democrat voting base - the vast majority of them are cast as “victims” - the downtrodden, the “unfortunate”, the minorities suffering at the hands of the “white man”, tax cuts for the “rich” (ie - any couple making over $90 grand together, those troubled subprime “homeowners” who did cash-out refinancing 3 times to buy bass boats and take vacations (predatory borrowers all of them) - you get my drift - it’s all just such a joke. The democrat voter base consists primarily of people that really have no understanding of how our economy really works and consistently invoke the term “corporate greed” when discussing anything related to the vast majority of employers in this country. I have to say, however, that Obama is doing a good job at saying nothing while making all of you group idendity democrat voters “feel good”…..he has a great message - but no one can tell me what it is or what his positions really are or mean….in other words, he’s your guy - as long as you fell good - who really cares what his decisions will mean for the country - although Hitlery would be much worse…..have fun morons!

Free American JESUS comes from a greek word Je Zeus meaning son of the almighty God so no It is not a spanish word. The first church was in Greece and the only Greek word for almighty God was Zeus. We just happen to spell it the same way because Italian, Spanish, Portugese, German, English, Russian come from Latin which came from Latin which came ia a way from Greek.

The republicans can’t solve it alone, nor can the democrats. The divisive politics of Bush, Rove, Clinton, and Carville are for the baby boomers. this is a new day, an new generation, and YES WE CAN

You people don’t get it. Much like Reagan, Obama is a leader who provides more than solutions to issues. Issues will always change and are just wish lists. He provides people with a vision and a break from the past. Reagan provided stability from the turmoil of the 60s and 70s. Obama is providing a break and fresh start from sixteen years of Bush, Clinton, Bush, and would be Clinton. The fact that he is green is maybe what attracts people to him. He is not perceived as the stereotypical candidate.

Dirty white boy, those are jewish names. But you cannot be expected to know the difference.

Hal, democrats are socialists? I thought they supported democratic government. But you say they are socialists. Which country do they plan on running for president in? It probably need to be a socialist country. Hmmmm. But you are obviously a fair-minded and intelligent individual. You display great understanding of people in general, especially democrats with whom I’m positive you share meaningful discussions quite often, I mean, you must in order to acheive such a thorough understanding of how they view themselves. You know, as victims.

You are right. Get back to me on that socialism issue. Maybe find out what what socialism is. Taxes to pay for government is not socialism, its called citizenship, and if rich people cannot come to terms with the demands of citizenship then maybe that may contradict the logic that rich people are in such a position because of their superior intellect and work ethic.

Ignorance is alive and well in Georgia!! To the idiot who asked why he doesn’t have a “Christian” name. His last name is Obama because his father’s last name was Obama. As for the names of Abraham, Moses, etc. these were names of Jewish individuals that were here long before Christ came on earth to save sorry souls like Chris. As for Hillary, she had my vote until her husband came out of the wings like a pit bull making stupid remarks and brought race into the picture. Hillary may make a fine president. However, as long as Bill is in the picture, he will interject his influence, etc. into probably every decision Hillary will have to make. Bill Clinton is used to being the center of attention. He is a former President of the U.S. He will not permit anyone to relagate him to a secondary position. As for Obama, no matter what he says, or doesn’t say, will never really matter to bigots like Chris. Obama is a man who has African blood and that’s all Chris needs to know. The fact that he’s educated, knowledgeable, articulate and is willing to go into the fire of campaigning to lead a country that includes A-hole’s like Chris and self-proclaimed Dirty White Boy, and others, means nothing! He’s Black and that’s all they need to know. Well there is a cross section of men and women, from all walks of life in this country who feel that Obama is the better candidate. He just might make it into the White House…..If he does, Chris……Dirty White Boy……and all other hooded cross-burners out there….accept the fact that it’s a new day.

The level of ignorance and hatred that is flowing through this blog is downright scary! I can see why the right-wing talk show bunch call us names like “the great unwashed” on their daily hate-fests. The people who say this has nothing to do with race need to put down the pipe before the rest of their brain cells are fried. The sad reality is that race is - for many in our community - all this campaign season is about. When I ask my fellow African-Americans what they like about Obama and why they so wholeheartedly support him when he has told us so little about how he plans to actually implement the change he keeps promising, the majority of them do not have a clue. When I press them on the subject, they reluctantly admit that they are so excited about the fact that a black man has a legitimate chance to win the presidency that they’ve chosen to overlook the fact that we have no idea yet what he’d do if he’s elected.

What exactly does “change” mean? Is he planning to paint the White House red? Rename the Lincoln bedroom the “Change Chamber”? Undo the landmark tobacco settlement case and help rejuvenate the cigarette industry? What? Abolish Social Security maybe? In any challenging situation, the easiest path to take is to just throw rocks at the current system, enumerate all of the problems while offering no viable solutions, and then clamor for “change.” In the workplace, managers who only point out problems and complain about what’s wrong are not held in very high esteem. We usually confront them with “so what do you propose we do about it?” I think it’s time for us to peel back the layers of the eloquent oratory and the undeniable charisma of the Obama we’ve seen thus far and try to find out if he really can do the job. When my 8-year-old doesn’t like how things are going around the house, I’m sure she would love to see “change” - that doesn’t mean I’m quite ready to hand over the reins just yet.

By no means am I saying that Barack is not qualified - should he win, he might make a very good president - what I’m saying that we don’t know enough to make a sound determination yet, and he doesn’t seem to be in much of a hurry to give us any more specificity. It is just as foolish for people of color to make a decision along racial lines as it has always been when white folks did it. At the end of the day, the Black/White debate is secondary to the one color America really cares about - the Green. We need to really dig into these candidates and find out how they will impact our earning power and the quality of life for our families and communities. C’mon Obama - it’s time to put some real cards on the table…

Hillary, drop out of the race now. we don’t like you. it’s been 8 years since your old-man left the whitehouse and we’ve had time to reflect. and guess what. what should have been obvious since 1994 has finally sunk-in to the vacuous vox-populi of the Democratic Party; that is, Bill was a lousy Democratic President. The country was sick of 12 years of graft, corruption and voodoo economics when Bill was swept into power, yet in 8 years Bill never seemed to figure out where Reagan hid the bully-pulpit (GW Bush found it on or about Jan 21, 2001 thank you very much), and he lost the House and Senate within 2 years. Further, we all realize that your boy Bill never ONCE fought for the base of his party. What he did fight for was his re-election and his (increasingly sullied) “legacy”. That he thought he accomplished the first but destroyed forever his chance at the 2nd. And guess what, Hillary; you’re the same as Bill. You’re following precisely in his footsteps and we don’t want it or need it. So go back to the Senate and serve your next term. And please, take the whole Clinton Machine with you. Bury it in the back yard right next to the Kennedy machine. They, like you, can have your seat in the Senate, but never again a bed in the Whitehouse. I thank you for your graceful, and imminent, exit.

Hillary has to convince party leaders that she can put more Red/Swing states in play in Nov. than Obama. You will need Republicans spending money to defend their states. Winning only Hard Core Blue states (CA, NY, MA, NJ, etc..) may not get you to the front door but might not get you in and we have seen the last 2 elections.

Since this is for President it is really about the Electoral College(not popular vote). The Dems only need an increase of 18 Electors from the last election. Due to population movement(away from CA and NY) and immigration their are more Red states that can change to Blue than the other way around. VA is considered the most likely state to swing from red to Blue because of the large growth around metro DC. VA has 13 Electors and they elected the first Black Governor in the US 18 years ago. That would mean only needing one more small state to switch.

Maybe she can convince them that TX will be in play because of the large hispanic population. And AR with 6 Electors.

Remember, Obama can win even if most of the country is against it. Ask George Bush about election 2000.

The General Election should be very interesting. Their will probably be a battle for about 15 states. You have the 2 large swing state MO and OH. Then you have Red Leaning states that may go blue VA, IA, CO, NV, and NM. McCain will try and put blue leaning states of VT, ME, NH in play. Obama could put some Southern State and KS in play. Hillary will put red leaning AR and TX in play.

Obama would have to worry about McCain being able to take those small Blue states in a election. The Big Blue states are probably safe.

Yes, Hillary might not be the nominee, but when the smoke clears, Democrats and Senator Obama are going to face some tough times. The poster was correct when he posted that Republicans are crosssing over to make sure that Hillary will not win. Their strategy is so apparent. While everyone is caught up in crazy euphoria, they are cheating like they always do and stategizing how to win the White House. They know that too many people are watching the ballots so they have shifted their mode of operation. Then they will cross back to make sure that a black man will never win. Racism is alive manipulative, and brutal in America. May the best unfortunate person win. For me, at this point, it is so disgusting, the entire competition, that I have lost any enthusiasm for anyone.

I get up and go to work everyday, and pay my taxes and strive to do my part as a citizen, but I usually have to pay additional taxes while my own, “white” neice and nephew, who didn’t work a day in 2007 recieved income tax refunds of $3000 to $4000 dollars. And the media attacks Hillary every chance it gets. Its hard for Hillary to fight against the entire media establishment. Hillary need to pull out because we still have memory:

Hillary Clinton has been telling America that she is the most qualified candidate for president based on her “record,” which she says includes her eight years in the White House as First Lady - or “co-president” - and her seven years in the Senate. Here is a reminder of what that record includes:

    • As First Lady, Hillary assumed authority over Health Care Reform, a process that cost the taxpayers over $13 million. She told both Bill Bradley and Pat Moynahan, key votes needed to pass her legislation, that she would “demonize “anyone who opposed it. But it was opposed; she couldn’t even get it to a vote in a Congress controlled by her own party. (And in the next election, her party lost control of both the House and Senate.)

    • Hillary assumed authority over selecting a female Attorney General. Her first two recommendations (Zoe Baird and Kimba Wood) were forced to withdraw their names from consideration, and then she chose Janet Reno. Janet Reno has since been described by Bill himself as “my worst mistake.”

    • Hillary recommended Lani Guanier for head of the Civil Rights Commission. When Guanier’s radical views became known, her name had to be withdrawn.

    • Hillary recommended her former law partners, Web Hubbell, Vince Foster, and William Kennedy for positions in the Justice Department, White House staff, and the Treasury, respectively. Hubbell was later imprisoned, Foster committed “suicide”, and Kennedy was forced to resign.

    • Hillary also recommended a close friend of the Clintons, Craig Livingstone, for the position of director of White House security. When Livingstone was investigated for the improper access of up to 900 FBI files of Clinton enemies (Filegate) and the widespread use of drugs by White House staff, both Hillary and her husband denied knowing him. (FBI agent Dennis Sculimbrene Confirmed in a Senate Judiciary Committee in 1996 both the drug use and Hillary’s involvement in hiring Livingstone. After that, the FBI closed its White House Liaison Office, after serving seven presidents for over thirty years.)

    • In order to open “slots” in the White House for her friends the Harry Thomasons (to whom millions of dollars in travel contracts could be awarded), Hillary had the entire staff of the White House Travel Office fired; they were reported to the FBI for “gross mismanagement” and their reputations ruined. After a thirty-month investigation, only one, Billy Dale, was charged with a crime - mixing personal money with White House funds when he cashed checks. The jury acquitted him in less than two hours.

    • Another of Hillary’s assumed duties was directing the “bimbo eruption squad” and scandal defense: —— She urged her husband not to settle the Paula Jones lawsuit. -She refused to release the Whitewater documents, which led to the appointment of Ken Starr as Special Prosecutor After $80 million dollars of taxpayer money was spent, Starr’s investigation led to Monica Lewinsky, which led to Bill lying about and later admitting his affairs. —— Then they had to settle with Paula Jones after all. —— And Bill lost his law license for lying to the grand jury. —— And Bill was impeached by the House. —— And Hillary almost got herself indicted for perjury and obstruction of justice (she avoided it mostly because she repeated, “I do not recall,” “I have no recollection,” and “I don’t know” 56 times under oath).

    • Hillary accepted the traditional First Lady’s role of decorator of the White House at Christmas, but in a unique Hillary way. In 1994, for example, The First Lady’s Tree in the Blue Room (the focal point each year) was Decorated with drug paraphernalia, sex toys, and pornographic ornaments, all personally approved by Hillary as the invited artists’ depiction’s of the theme, “The Twelve Days of Christmas.”

    • Hillary wrote “It Takes a Village,” demonstrating her Socialist viewpoint.

    • Hillary decided to seek election to the Senate in a state she had never lived in. Her husband pardoned FALN terrorists in order to get Latino support and the New Square Hassidim to get Jewish support. Hillary also had Bill pardon her brother’s clients, for a small fee, to get financial support.

    • Then Hillary left the White House, but later had to return $200,000 in White House furniture, China, and artwork she had stolen.

    • In the campaign for the Senate, Hillary played the “woman card” by portraying her opponent (Lazio) as a bully picking on her.

    • Hillary’s husband further protected her by asking the National Archives to withhold from the public until 2012 many records of their time in the White House, including much of Hillary’s correspondence and her calendars. (There are ongoing lawsuits to force the release of those records.)

    • As the junior Senator from New York, Hillary has passed no major legislation. She has deferred to the senior Senator (Schumer) to tend to the needs of New Yorkers, even on the hot issue of medical problems of workers involved in the cleanup of Ground Zero after 9/11.

    • Hillary’s one notable vote, supporting the plan to invade Iraq, she has since disavowed.

Quite a resume, isn’t it? Sounds more like an organized crime family..

My advice is to drop out. Either that or stop being a socialist and learn about capitlism.

Profit is NOT a four-letter word. The government is not responsible for every task citizens encounter each and every day. Let people be accountable for themselves - a new government program to solve all of the world’s ills is NOT the answer. Cut the Federal government in half, cut our taxes in half - and you’ll see an economic boom unlike any we’ve seen.

Imagine that - being able to keep your paycheck and then get to take care of yourself? What a novel concept.

As to Clinton failing in the primaries, she should have shove Bill in a box and shipped him to some place far, far, far away. Everytime he shows his face in public, it just reminds people of his personal life. George Will recently said the man is genetically wired to lie and that’s the way many people see him. He does her no good and only serves to drive borderline Democrats and independents into the waiting and grateful arms of McCain.

South Park had an episode dealing with zombie homeless asking for change. Every time I see an Obama appearance and see or hear the word Change I think of that episode and laugh. “Change” is a joke — get Comedy Central to replay the episode 24/7 and everyone will laugh at his one-word campaign.

It’s funny the way the folks in front have one or two word slogans while the ones behind have charts, maps, and in depth analysis.

Mrs. Clinton lost my vote many years ago. I said that I would vote for her if she divorced her husband. She hasn’t; I won’t.

In deciding who to support for President, I only had one qualification—Who gives me hope? I am not looking for the answers to all my or the country’s questions. No candidate has them. I am not looking for solutions to all my or the country’s problems. No candidate has them. What I am looking for is a glimmer of hope that there will be NO BUSINESS AS USUAL.

I have no doubt that whoever is elected will have a complete and thorough briefing on every issue imaginable. If the next President is smart enough to understand it, we will have something. If not, we will continue to have the likes of GW, Rush Limbaugh, Neal Boortz, Sean Hannity, etc.

God help us one and all.

Get ready for four to eight years of a bad president. Either McCain or Obama. Obama is not proven and has no plan but yet people wants him to lead the most powerful country in the world.Obama the American Idol President. McCain wants to contine the war in Iraq extending the bankruptcy of the country and the lose of life of our troops. If this is the direction the we want, then so be it. Go ahead and continue to destroy this great country by voting on popularity instead of substance.

Obama has a longer elected political career than Clinton. His political experience is very similar to that of JFK. Our current president, whose name is not even worthy to mention, he was a former governor and his daddy was a president; look where all that experience has lead us.
The traditional powers in both parties are upset because their two anointed persons are in trouble. (Romney has already dropped out)The party elite have to get out of their glass houses and understand that people who are underemployed, unemployed, losing homes, balancing the rising cost of living, etc. are looking for hope, are looking for change. As someone has already posted, go to www.barackobama.com and you can see where the man stands on the issues. Think for yourself. Finally, all the narrow minded persons who have a mindset stuck in the past need to realize this country’s demographics (the type of people living here, since they probably do not know what demographics mean)is in the midst of great change. It is no longer just about black and white; we continue to have persons from all over the world arriving everyday. If you do not believe me, take a trip down to the DMV. OBAMA 08!

Remember Vince Foster, maybe the Clintons and their supporters don’t but I do. Their best friend and advisor in Whitewater Realty, a wealthy man who is supposed to have shot himself with an old used revolver made of 3 different guns with his thumb on the trigger before he was due to give testimony to a Senate committee. YEA RIGHT!

Remember NAFTA ACT, Bill signed into law and displaced 100’s of 1000’s of American workers, sending jobs both north and south of the border as well as to Pakistan and India, where consumers reaped no benefits in savings however corporate CEO’s and VP racked up MILLIONS in bonuses to their already inflated salaries.

Remember the Telecommunications act, signed into law by Bill, displacing 100’s of 1000’s of American workers and enabling news conglomerates to filter news and express their owners’ opinions as news with no chance of an editorial rebuttal. Have you seen an editorial reply anywhere? HELLO! Now you have to look outside the U.S. news sources if you want to see what truly is happening in the U.S.

Remember how for more than 8 years the Clintons promised healthcare, and we received nothing but unemployment and higher healthcare premiums with more and more under qualified doctors arriving from 3rd world countries daily to join the circling of our diseased and citizens like vultures in a money grab as our government wasted trillions in sick care.

I remember Bill lying to all of us on national T.V. and how he was not man enough to admit he had an extra-marital affair with the ignorant young interns he preyed upon.

I am ready to vote for a woman, be her black, brown, yellow, green, or purple to be President, however not that woman. I am also ready to vote for a man, any color for President. It has nothing to do with race, creed, or sex, and it has everything to do with corporate support and greed, and the continued raping of America and the blind ignorance of its population. WAKE UP PEOPLE!

Wow. I’ve read All of the comments up to this point and can plainly see that HATE is the Number 1 thing in this election. Republicans just HATE Democrats. Guess that explains Bush and his ship of idiots in office. For one blogger to say that Obama is a “Negro” that America will not vote for, shows that WE will never be a unified country. For him further to insinuate that he is taxed (by his Republican President) and that he makes over $100K amazes me at the level of ignorance he exudes. Giving our tax dollars to a HS dropout w/7 kids because he did not earn a degree. Truly, hate. This is why we need a “CHANGE.” Someone to level the opportunities of all AMERICANS. Is this even possible? I feel that if this blogger had attended my Alma Mater and he saw Black, White, Asian, Latino, Indian, African, and European students, his view would soften and his racial issues would not be as pointed. But because he probably grew up in an all white community, attended a school that was limited in racial diversity and then attended a college that had a sprinkling of students of color whom he know doubt took the time to acknowledge or even get to know, he is now predisposed against anything that represents change, and deeper, anything that goes against his “perfect world” that contradicts his preconceptions of people of color. That is exactly the bane of the Republican. Out of touch. Unrealistic. Racist. Arrogant. He has framed the last eight years of political leadership in the country. Hillary is irrelevant now. She is also clearly out of touch. Thus, the break from her by her own political base. Obama. Change. Hope. He admits the difficulty going forward. But as Americans, Black, White, Asian, latino, and others, we have embraced change and have made ours the greatest country in the world. Why can’t we change now?

My theory is that white people are voting for Barack out of white guilt. Kind of like it makes white people feel good to say “I have alot of black friends” when in reality they are just acquaintances at best. Or kind of like you have one black co-worker who you patronize because that makes you think you are not a racist.

Sorry to bust your bubble, but when push comes to shove in this country—99% of white people don’t really trust or like black people.

His family live in Kenya where they are fighting? also: I read somewhere where he and Oprah are going to put in our classrooms, the NEW AGE beliefs, which is Not Christian, but Satenism. I hope this is wrong. Please let go and Let God lead our people as He has done Before Obama and Oprah. I do have a question for Obama, Why don’t you use your LAST name Hussin ever. It is the same as Saudam Hussin…which to me isn’t AMERICAN.

To GaLiberal, please take the time to reread my post… you and the rest of your Liberal friends are the whole reason America is a Mess.
Andy Rooney said on ‘60 Minutes’ a few weeks back:

I don’t think being a minority makes you a victim of anything except numbers. The only things I can think of that are truly discriminatory are things like the United Negro College Fund, Jet Magazine, Black Entertainment Television, and Miss Black America. Try to have things like the United Caucasian College Fund, Cloud Magazine, White Entertainment Television, or Miss White America; and see what happens…Jesse Jackson will be knocking down your door.

Guns do not make you a killer. I think killing makes you a killer. You can kill someone with a baseball bat or a car, but no one is trying to ban you from driving to the ball game.

I believe they are called the Boy Scouts for a reason, which is why there are no girls allowed Girls belong in the Girl Scouts! ARE YOU LISTENING MARTHA BURKE?

I think that if you feel homosexuality is wrong, it is not a phobia, it is an opinion.

I have the right ‘NOT’ to be tolerant of others because they are different, weird, or tick me off.

When 70% of the people who get arrested are black, in cities where 70% of the population is black, that is not racial profiling; it is the Law of Probability.

I believe that if you are selling me a milkshake, a pack of cigarettes, a newspaper or a hotel room, you must do it in English! As a matter of fact, if you want to be an American citizen, you should have to speak English!

My father and grandfather didn’t die in vain so you can leave the countries you were born in to come over r and disrespect ours.

I think the police should have every right to shoot you if you threaten them after they tell you to stop. If you can’t understand the word ‘freeze’ or ‘stop’ in English, see the above lines.

I don’t think just because you were not born in this country, you are qualified for any special loan programs, government sponsored bank loans or tax breaks, etc., so you can open a hotel, coffee shop, trinket store, or any other business.

We did not go to the aid of certain foreign countries and risk our lives in wars to defend their freedoms, so that decades later they could come over here and tell us our constitution is a living document; and open to their interpretations.

I don’t hate the rich I don’t pity the poor

I know pro wrestling is fake, but so are movies and television. That doesn’t stop you from watching them.

I think Bill Gates has every right to keep every penny he made and continue to make more. If it ticks y you off, go and invent the next operating system that’s better, and put your name on the building.

It doesn’t take a whole village to raise a child right, but it does take a parent to stand up to the kid; and smack their little behinds when necessary, and say ‘NO!’

I think tattoos and piercing are fine if you want them, but please don’t pretend they are a political statement. And, please, stay home until that new lip ring heals. I don’t want to look at your ugly infected mouth as you serve me French fries!

I am sick of ‘Political Correctness.’ I know a lot of black people, and not a single one of them was born in Africa; so how can they be ‘African-Americans’? Besides, Africa is a continent. I don’t go around saying I am a European-American because my great, great, great, great, great, great grandfather was from Europe. I am proud to be from America and nowhere else

And if you don’t like my point of view, tough…

I PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG, OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, AND TO THE REPUBLIC, FOR WHICH IT STANDS, ONE NATION UNDER GOD, INDIVISIBLE, WITH LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL!

I was asked to send this on if I agree or delete if I don’t. It is said that 86% of Americans believe in God. Therefore I have a very hard time understanding why there is such a problem in having ‘In God We Trust’ on our money and having ‘God’ in the Pledge of Allegiance. Why don’t we just tell the 14% to BE QUIET!!!

Dirty White fella I know you are right.

As a black student at a white institution in Chattanooga, TN. I saw it played out during homecoming football game halftime before a crowd of 16,000 people. Chattanooga showed its bigotry when the entire crowd of white people chose not to acknowledge the crowning of a black young lady as the homecoming queen.

The only whites that acknowledged here with applause were the cheerleaders and the school chancellor. Of course the 100 or so black students stood and cheered.

That moment scarred me. I will never forget it. Honestly, I’ve been cautious ever since.

You are right a large percentage of white people might not like black people. Guess what? If you believe in salvation through Jesus Christ then there will be very few white people in heaven. I’m sure black people will not lose any sleep over it.

I left a comment but I must say one last thing. I am Not a racist. I’m as white as i can get. and My honest opinion is Hussin (better known as Obama) has a wife that would make a good president, She seems to be very smart, but it bothers me when her husband says he is for CHANGE…but NEVER describes what he means by that word. I Fear what it means when I hear what I described before, its like a the devil in sheeps clothing to sugarcoat us into believing his way.
I feel that God IS setting us up for His return. and the Devil is very real and “he” wants all he can get to go to Hell with him before Christ returns.
We must Not okay anyone to teach our children “the New Age” thing. It takes Christ out of the picture, and We are supposed to believe it. I am worried for our grandchildren and all school children, Can anyone who believes in the KJV of the Bible make a comment on this “new age” teachings? I hope what I heard is wrong as well. Be ready…God is Real and He is coming for His Children soon, He loves us unconditionally, but we Must accept Him as Lord and Savior or He will not accept us into Heaven. That Perfect place.

Perhaps if she can’t beat Obama she has no business with the Democratic nomination. He is a junior Senator, untested and unproven, yet she still can’t beat him. This speaks volumes. Where is his substance? Name a bill or a law he’s been associated with? Of course blacks are voting for him predicated only on race and race only. Why is this a surprise to anyone. Follow the black voting pattern for the past twenty-five years and you’ll see the theme is always the same: Anyone but a white man. Does anyone think Ralph Nagin was the best candidate for mayor of New Orleans or Marion Berry in DC? Look at the voting pattern in Atlanta. All of downtown other than the Governor is predominantly black. Do we have no white men that head up a police department? It’s always pick the best black and forget the rest. Obama is not winning on just the black vote, the numbers are not there for a black only victory. Whites are buying into the picture too. We will be so taxed with Obama in office people with wealth will stop investing in the US and spend and invest in other countries. I see Obama as a president that would still be giving free money to New Orleans had he been in office, some three years later. Oh my….my poor savings account if Obama wins. I’ll be in the poorhouse!

If you all think that hate and bigotry rule in the South, all you need to do is look around in your families and you will see our children are not following the script.

Our daughters and sons are marrying and making babies together like we have never seen before.

America, get ready 30 years from now we are going to have so many young people that LOOK like Barack Obama.

When you are in class in the 1st grade until college graduation and the smartest kid in class don’t like exactly like yourself, you quickly dismiss the idea that “those” people are dumb.

Freebird, are you married to a white woman?

    Here should be Hillary’s strategy:

1)Write off the black vote—no way she can win it.

2)Big blunder to replace her Latino campaign manager with a black. But she can win back the Latino vote by pushing forth a reasonable path to legal citizenship for the 20 million illegals in our country.

3)She must start calling Obama out on every single issue from taxes to slavery reperations to the genocide going on in Sudan and Kenya and make him talk about specifics. Get him off all this change s**.

4)She has get him off his best game which is giving razzle dazzle speeches that do nothing but get people all hot and sweaty. Make him talk about the dry, boring issues we are facing. He is one trick pony.

5)He is not squeaky clean as everyone might think. He has a few skeletons—-hell we all do. Get them out of the closet. Lets talk about drug use, self hatred, racial identity issues he has had.

6)Flip the race issue—-make racism a central issue and what is he going to do about it.

7)Call him out on problems that are affecting black people and force him to address specific solutions. Flip the race card on him. Unwed mothers, rotten schools, young black men genocide, subprime mortgages that are mostly affecting black people. The man can be made to look like the empty suit he really is.

8)Take your gloves off and start punching like hell—-he has weaknesses just like the rest of us. Bring them out. My guess is he has a glass jaw and can’t take too many well placed jabs. He is just a pretty boy with a smooth tongue.

    9) And for God’s sake quit crying. Everyone use to think you had a big set of coconuts—-use ‘em.

10)If you sit back and place keep playing nice—you will lose.

11)Rest assured McCain will tear Barack’s pretty boy a* apart in the general election debates. You should do the same if you hope to salvage this thing. Get junk yard dog mean and eat his a* up!!!

Let’s talk about the facts here. It’s pretty comical that when African Americans are voting for Obama it’s only because he is black. However when white males vote Republican which is always a white male the same isn’t said. If Obama was white he would be JFK-lite and in contrast John McCain is as inspiring as a card board box at the Home Depot. We all know this would not be a contest if it wasn’t for race. Close your eyes and listen and you will see what I am talking about. He is a worse flip flopper than John Kerry and nobody calls him out. The problem we have in this election is that finally we have a candidate that is obviously better than the field. Every election cycle they roll out the usual suspects and shave it down to the finalists. Thats how we get clowns like George Bush in office. This year the disparity is too great that why he is winning. People recognize an intelligent and genuine person when they see one. Hopefully he wont get swiftboated.

My advice for her would be to go sell socialism in a socialist country. The same goes for Obama. Did anyone see the Che Guevara flag in his Houston office? If that doesn’t tell you what Obama really is then I don’t know what does.

Don’t believe me? Here you go! Good luck explaining that all of you socialist liberals!

    Other Scripts: בָרָק (Hebrew)

    Pronounced: BER-ak [key]

Means “lightning” in Hebrew. This was the name of a military commander in the Old Testament

People, do your research…unless you want to go down that slippery road again with the Clintons. I’ve research the Clinton Administration on the web. There is a lot of information in cyberspace for anyone to see. We were not able to see how the Clintons gave the White House away to the Chinese. We were so tied up over his scandals that we were blinded to what was truly going on. Over the past 48 hrs, spies for China have been apprehended. The Clintons sold out America before and they are trying to do it again. Google Clintons/COSCO, the Clintons have had a long and cozy relationship with the Chinese.

There is reason why the game plan to call Barack Obama “all fluff and not substance” is not working. Because intelligent people will take the time to read his plan for themselevs. I must admit that the game plan works on the one who resfuse to search for themselves.

Instead of debating policy, many prefer to lie about the candidates stance on issues. Since some WON’T go to Barack Obama’s website here are a few excerpts from the Issues tab on his site.

Senator Obama has been able to develop innovative approaches to challenge the status quo and get results. Americans are tired of divisive ideological politics, which is why Senator Obama has reached out to Republicans to find areas of common ground. He has tried to break partisan logjams and take on seemingly intractable problems. During his tenure in Washington and in the Illinois State Senate, Barack Obama has accumulated a record of bipartisan success.

    Civil Rights

There is no more fundamental American right than the right to vote. Before the landmark 1965 Voting Rights Act, barriers such as literacy tests, poll taxes and property requirements disenfranchised many Americans, especially minorities. More than 40 years later, there are still numerous obstacles to ensuring that every citizen has the ability to vote.

    Disabilities

“We must build a world free of unnecessary barriers, stereotypes, and discrimination …. policies must be developed, attitudes must be shaped, and buildings and organizations must be designed to ensure that everyone has a chance to get the education they need and live independently as full citizens in their communities.”

    * Economy*

As president, Barack Obama will implement a 21st century economic agenda to help ensure that America can compete in a global economy, and ensure the middle class is thriving and growing. He will increase investments in infrastructure, energy independence, education, and research and development; modernize and simplify our tax code so it provides greater opportunity and relief to more Americans; and implement trade policies that benefit American workers and increase the export of American goods.

    Education

Throughout America’s history, education has been the vehicle for social and economic mobility, giving hope and opportunity to millions of young people. Our schools must prepare students not only to meet the demands of the global economy, but also help students take their place as committed and engaged citizens. It must ensure that all students have a quality education regardless of race, class, or background. Barack Obama is committed to strengthening our public schools to maximize our country’s greatest natural resource - the American people. Obama believes that we must equip poor and struggling districts, both rural and urban, with the support and resources they need to provide disadvantaged students with an opportunity to reach their full potential. Too often, our leaders present this issue as an either - or debate, divided between giving our schools more funding, or demanding more accountability. Obama believes that we have to do both, and has offered innovative ideas to break through the political stalemate in Washington.

    Energy & Environment

Senator Obama has been a leader in the Senate in pushing for a comprehensive national energy policy and has introduced a number of bills to get us closer to the goal of energy independence. By putting aside partisan battles, he has found common ground on CAFE, renewable fuels, and clean coal.

    * Ethics*

Throughout his political career, Barack Obama has been a leader in fighting for open and honest government. As a U.S. Senator, he has spearheaded the effort to clean up Washington in the wake of the Jack Abramoff scandal. In a politically charged election year, Obama acknowledged that corruption was a problem that plagued both political parties. He subsequently enlisted the help of Republican allies to limit lobbyist influence, shine sunlight into the earmarks process and promote open government.

    Faith

In June of 2006, Senator Obama delivered what was called the most important speech on religion and politics in 40 years. Speaking before an evangelical audience, Senator Obama candidly discussed his own religious conversion and doubts, and the need for a deeper, more substantive discussion about the role of faith in American life.

    Family

Strong families raise successful children and keep communities together. While Senator Obama does not believe that we can simply legislate healthy families, good parenting skills or economic success, he does believe we can eliminate roadblocks that parents face and provide tools to help them succeed. A husband and father of two, Senator Obama has promoted strong families in the Senate.

    Fiscal

“The cost of our debt is one of the fastest growing expenses in the federal budget. This rising debt is a hidden domestic enemy, robbing our cities and states of critical investments in infrastructure like bridges, ports, and levees; robbing our families and our children of critical investments in education and health care reform; robbing our seniors of the retirement and health security they have counted on … If Washington were serious about honest tax relief in this country, we’d see an effort to reduce our national debt by returning to responsible fiscal policies.” - Barack Obama, Speech in the U.S. Senate, March 13, 2006

I believe that the millions of Americans who can’t take their children to a doctor when they get sick have that right…We now face an opportunity - and an obligation - to turn the page on the failed politics of yesterday’s health care debates. It’s time to bring together businesses, the medical community, and members of both parties around a comprehensive solution to this crisis, and it’s time to let the drug and insurance industries know that while they’ll get a seat at the table, they don’t get to buy every chair.” -Barack Obama, Speech in Iowa City, IA, 5/27/07

    Homeland Security

Five years after 9/11, our country is still unprepared for a terrorist attack. From improving security for our transit systems and chemical plants, to increasing cargo screening in our airports and seaports, the recommendations of the 9/11 Commission have been underfunded and ignored. The 9/11 Commission gave the government five F’s and 12 D’s on the implementation of its recommendations. Senator Obama is a member of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee and has supported efforts to base homeland security spending on risk rather than pork-barrel politics. He has also introduced legislation to strengthen chemical plant and drinking water security and to enhance disaster preparedness.

It’s time for real leadership for rural America to extend that American dream. That’s the dream of opportunity that I’ve spent my life fighting for. I am continously amazed at some the ignorance that comes across this board. First, if 90% of black americans voted for Barack, it may have something to do with the fact that 90% of black americans are fed up with Bush! Secondly, Obama is half white, so how is this about race? Blacks only make up about 13% of the american population, so what’s the explanation for the rest of the country that’s voting for him?

Syemour Butz, you have no idea what Black issues are? I’m not an unwed mother, although you’re probably not even married? Subprime mortgages also affected whites, and latinos. I don’t have one and recently refinanced my mortgage for 5.1 fixed. Yeah! My kids go to great schools in my majority black neighborhood. Tell me, what are white issues? They’re called American issues!!!

While I voted for Bush, I think he’s screwed up royally and we need a change. I have read and listened to Barack’s agenda and I like what he’s planned. While I don’t agree with him on everything, he’s better than McCain. If Barack weren’t running I’d vote for Huckabee. Hilary is a joke. She doesn’t have any real plan, and she wouldn’t be an effective president. My advice - bow out now!

I would advise her to come out and say that due to her love for this country, and in the spirit of unity, she will be withdrawing & urging her followers to support Barack Obama.

It is clearly obvious, that while Hillary would be a perfectly capable president, should be be elected, this nation would be subject to at least four more years of life with half the country hating the president!

We’ve seen the results of the last sixteen years of such a pervasive attitude, and the mess it has us in today. And she of all people should realize the difficulty in leading, when you are attacked so venomously 24/7…..

Why are we as Americans so blind? Do you all see that other nations hate us? Do you see that the value of the dollar is going down? The time has come where we need to gain the respect of other nations, and stop trying to put fear in their hearts. We do not need anymore Cowboy Bush’s going over there to “save” the day. We need someone like Obama who can go to them with respect and make sure our countries can coexist without the threat of terrorism around every corner. When it comes to countries like Iran and China thinking about blowing up one of our naval ships, they are looking at our leaders and how they have p** them off. We need to wake up and realize that the majority of the people in this world have melanin in their skin and they do not take kindly to these conceited white leaders who think they can tell them how to run their country.

I don’t see how anyone could think that McCain will beat Obama. All the polls put Obama about 5-7 points above McCain. Hillary should do the right thing for her party and give up already. The handwriting is on the wall and she just refuses to see it.

I would tell her to keep pushing and speak more on the issues. It’s funny how now all “African-Americans” want to turn on the Clintons since Obama is running. Yeah he has good points on major issues, but so does Hilary. A few years ago African-American were crying they wish “brother” Bill could run again to stop the ruins the Bush Administration had caused, now they want to brow beat his wife because she has stepped up to the plate and done what they were wishing for all along. Please people, wake up and grow up! They are cheaters now, but many of you a few years ago were willing to go to bat for him and her when Monica L. came in the picture. Another case of divide and conquer. When are you going to wake up and grow up and see the real issue at hand. Bryant or one of the other bloggers said it so well, the Republicans are crossing over to vote for Obama because they know he won’t stand a chance against McCain. But guess what, should that happen, you will be crying for Hilary then. I hope she gets the votes of the delegates she needs for the DNC nomination. Oh by the way, I’m an African-American female also who just so happens to be able to look at both sides of the spectrum. And who I voted for is none of your business!

My advice to Clinton would be to challenge Obama to get specific and to point out when he doesn’t (because he never does)! He’s a throwback to the hippies of the 60’s who believe in sunshine, butterflies, and peace on earth. Clinton is a realist who has action plans, goals and objectives. Obama won three states yesterday 2/12/08, so I watched his speech….He’s following the Martin Luther King format to empower the people. When a nation is sad he knows exactly what they need: a pep talk, a promise of hope, a lifting of the soul. I saw the people roar of emotion for 45 minutes. Perhaps people see Hillary as just a walking suit listing the issues and how she would tackle each one but for 45 straight minutes Obama never once even touched on one issue let alone how he would solve them. It’s sad to see a nation falling for emotional peps talks from a guy who’s just dreaming the dream but has no idea how to solve them. Here is Hillary with a Masters on Health Reform from Harvard, 8 years Experience in the White House learning hand on hand with Clinton, 6 years as as a U.S. Senator and we can’t see she the best person for that job? Just because she’s actually focusing on the issues and not on our broken hearts we find her boring? I think we are in critical state, an opportunity that will never come back. It’s great to be sheered up when we’re down and some people are really good at that like Obama but when he sits in office is his job on TV regularly giving us great empowerment speeches, no his job to sit in office and solve issues and that’s when we’ll miss Hillary Clinton. The woman who actually went to school to change a Nation in her twenties which was 1970’s way before Obama decided to focus on Change 6 months ago.

The Democrats are so whipped up in a frenzy over this Obana-Clinton fight that they have lost sight of their true goal; to rid the White House of the Republicans. At the end of the day, McCain will win the White House. Hillary looks done. With that said, from the posts here I’d say alot of folks who would have voted for Hillary, will instead vote for McCain. The victories in the ‘Black Belt’ were expected. The voters in those states voted for one reason only. BO is a ‘brother’.

When you now go to the up coming primaries, voters will consider more than just the color of his skin. A warning to Democrats might be that BO will carry no southern states and will have no coattails to help get the GOP out of the Congress. Therein lies the biggest problem. He can get none of his programs passed if the Congress swings back to the GOP.

Stay in there Hillary. I’m hoping for a deadlocked convention and the Dems settle for Edwards.

Most of you who say that probably have done anything that I listed above so of course you don’t know and you won’t until you do so. I seem to know where he stands on taxes, Iraq, heathcare, and the economy. I’m not saying all people who voted for him educated themselves about him because that is not a reasonable statement to make because I don’t know them all personally. First rule of living in America:

Everything in this country is about race. Always has been, always will be.

The old white man McCain will kick Barack Hussein Obama’s a*. Like it or not, America will not elect a black man President. How many black governors are there? One. How many black senators are there? two. How many black congressmen? 30 out of 435.

Canada, England, France, Germany are all far more liberal countries than the US—how many black prime ministers or presidents have they had? ZERO.

BHO is riding the wave—enjoy while it last. Reality will bite.

I have to agree with White Male concerning surervisory positions. My latest boss was a woman who along with feedback from people I worked with had me rated in the highest group. She left and was replaced by a black who immediately lowered my ranking in order to raise some of her black buddies. When raise time came she gave her buddies much larger raises, even though I had to do their work. I mentored these workers and taught them how to do my job, but had to constantly repair the mess ups they did. They were always out on ‘team building’ trips to go shopping.

    Mrs.Clinton,

Enter reality. There are Dirty White Boys out there. You should be ashamed of yourself for using them. America is the land of the free and the home of the brave. Look at Franklin Delano Roosevelt. He did things for the country not women, blacks, or whites.Obama is the Motrin, and he is the cure. Drop out now, and save yourself. I respectfully say, that if you bring America its need, then I might support you. E Pluribus Unum!*In God We Trust!* And bigots on this blog, don’t poison the delicate minds of the USA. If Mr.Obama has a Spanish, Jewish, Hebrew, or even Muslim name, we should’nt care. We should choose the leader of the free world, not by race or names, but the real issues at stake.

I don’t think Hillary should worry to much about GA. It seems that all those “so called” black leaders like John Lewis, Andrew Young…..who are super delegates are voting for Her. Some of these men were beaten, bitten by dogs, and hosed down right along side of Dr. KING……….and they are not voting for the black man! I think this deflates the notion that all black people are voting for Obama.

Hillary Clinton needs to dump Bill as an advisor. He is a fool who, more because of luck than anything else, really believes that he is a brilliant political stragegist. Bill Clinton proved his ineptitude when he took his electon in 1992 as a mandate to make sweeping changes even though he only received 43% of the popular vote. He proceeded to introduce bad legislation and push flawed and discredited policies. The result was that the Republicans took control of Congress for the first time since the election of 1952!!! And they kept it for 12 years. The Democrats also lost hundreds of legislative seats and many governorships.

Hillary is making the same mistake that her fellow New Yorker Giuliani made - persuing a national strategy rather than going state to state and organizing at the grass roots.

Hillary also has to STOP believing her own press releases, a difficult thing for an egomaniac. She is NOT the smartest woman in the world. If she were, she would listen to the advice of others before she goes off half cocked. She needs to understand that people DO NOT LIKE HER. She also needs to emphasize how she would change things positively and not be so negative about how she approaches her opponents. This might sound sexist, but people just don’t want to vote for a witchy woman - they want strong and NICE, not shrill and mean.

She also needs to stop playing the gender card. Barak Obama has run as a presidential candidate who happens to be black, not a black who is running for president.

By the way, I am a Republican and will never vote for either one of these socialists, but that is my advice as a seasoned poltical observer.

I would tell her to stop lying to begin with ,after all shes NOT C.Tucker and she cant get away with it like Tucker does..Then Id ask her why she and Obama choose to lie to the American people just to win a OFFICE…I wonder(i know the ajc has no idea)if they know how many Republicans crossed over in the election just to bump Clinton from winning in Georgia?? I PROMISE the Dems wont get that many votes(in Georgia anyway) come election time.I really believe if Obama or Clinton win the election this country will spiral down so fast the children we have in HIghschool will never know freedoms like we do even now…I also believe McCain isnt much better either….very very sad at the selection of people we have running to become our next President…GOD HELP US…IM curious about you folks voting Clinton…do you really Believe her??? Hey, whatever excuse you need to come up with is fine with me. We all know you were never going to seriously consider the better candidates anyway—because they’re EVIL DEMOCRATS.

    This is not fair.

I went to a caucus this year, and voted my conscience.

The will of the people is expressed.

Why should some group of party elites, really nothing more than a modern version of the “politburo” be able to thwart the will of the people?

Its not fair and its not right.

Ms. Clinton should be ashamed, and our party too.

Barak Obama has run as a presidential candidate who happens to be black, not a black who is running for president.

Uh-huh. That’s why he, and his supporters invoke Martin Luther King’s name and image. If Obama was white, you wouldn’t have heard word one in comparison to Civil Rights leaders.

And how convenient he’s not running as black. It’s sheer coincidence almost 90% of blacks here in Georgia voted for him.

Oh, hey, zombieboy, how concerned are you about the voice of people living in Florida and Michigan? Don’t they deserve to have their will expressed? Obama intends to ignore them.

The people of Florida and Michigan can express their will when they vote out their state Democratic leadership who committed such a blatant rules violation and expected to get away with it.

Who do they think they are—Republicans?
