Now the fun begins
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Now the fun begins.
Obama has regained momentum going into Super Tuesday. He may win Deep South states with a significant black population, but can he tear any of the big states - California, Florida or even New York - away from Sen. Clinton?

Just imagine how the Klan will spin this one tomorrow.
Obama is doubling her up and Edwards is damn near into second place.
There will be much hate and animosity spewed across the land by the KKKlinton Kampaign, their stupid, mindless anger will be abundant as well scattershot.
And they will do more damage to themselves.
As We the People look on in horror.
Word up.

You are so right Cynthia. Let’s see how well Obama does in the not so heavily African-American populated states. Hillary will be the nominee. As for the KKK reference to Clinton; She’s going to be your President soon so have some respect for Madam President! GO HILLARY!!! HILLARY 08!!!

I have nothing against electing a black president or a female president. I am concerned about electing a covert Muslim as president. A political party that is so obsessed with being “politically correct” that no white males need apply, and that then nominates a Muslim, is doomed to lose in the general election, no matter who the Republicans nominate, and notwithstanding the disastrous situation the Republicans have plunged us into.

Yeah, white as the driven snow Iowa sure did jump right into the Klinton Kamp.
Same as New Hampshire, only a measly 3 point win, even after the Kampaign transported thousands of bigots from Taxxachusetts.
There is something you Klanners should really start clueing into; We the People have grown tired of your hate.
You and the KKKlintoons need to scale back and shoot for some redneck fiefdom in ArKKKansas.
Where you are welcome.

Barack Hussein Obama has a Muslim sounding name, but he is Christian for what this is worth. The U.S. voter would not elect a Muslim so soon after 9/11. Get your facts straight. If you don’t like Obama, you can argue with his politics, but don’t resort to lies.

Wow…this is an embarrassing thread. If you support a white candidate you are part of the KKK???
Get a grip. I used to be a die hard democrat but I’m over that now thanks to this kind of rhetoric. I’m an independent and the way things are going I’m behind John McCain 100%.
This election should not about race or power but that seems to be all the democrats and media are discussing. Maybe everything else is just requires too much thought. But we really should be debating much more…we are not voting for the high school prom king or queen.
We have such serious issues - social security is in jeopardy, the economy is a wreck, cost of living is out of control, terrorism throughout the world, poverty, lack of health care for so many…and all you want to do is debate about race.
Stop your KKK banter and get that chip off your shoulder.

Unfortunately, the net result of these “feel good” symbolic votes in the Democratic primaries will be the perpetuation of the failed policies of Bush. In the general election the Republicans will eviscerate Obama.

I’m with Jason … he is soooo right ! Hillary will be the victor in the end ! Call me whatever you please, but I don’t think Obama has enough years in politics and positions of power to be able to hold the job. Sorry y’all, just my little ole humble opinion.

Come on! This is not a black or white issue.
Barack is a clear well-spoken man who is by all accounts multi-racial. America has to decide if they really want a successful Havard educated man of color as a leader.
There are some serious economic issues, security issues, healthcare issues, foreclosure issues, etc.
Don’t insult intelligent Black America with this nonsense. Barack has equivalent experience look at both websites. Barack has solid solutions to issues.
Notwithstanding, Hillary does well by her own right. She has champion children’s rights for years. Both are leaders who desire more than this petty blog bashing.
No need for KKK comments; we should never lower comments to their level. As for the “negative senitments,” we hear you loud and clear. But, Blacks, Hispanics, Muslims, Jews, and the rest of this diverse will PERSEVERE.

I hate to burst your bubble, Lady, but the country is not ready for a black president, nor will we ever be in our life time….If for some strange reason Obama should win the democratic nomination, which I very serious doubt!….you can take it to the bank, that the republicans will be in the White House the next term….the American people will not allow it to happen, I included!

Interesting that when Bill Clinton was president, there was all this coronation of him as being the “first black President”, now apparently many in the black community are turning their backs on Bill and Hillary … those of you insinuating they have klan tendencies, well, you need to find something better to do with your time…that kind of chatter is absolutely absurd.

luckaduh I wish I could hit the lottery like I knew I’d get a racial response from my comment. I should be rich right now. LOL!
Let me inlighten you on one very important thing “my brother”. I’m a BLACK man who’s supporting the best and most experienced candidate for the job. I unlike others, have chosen to vote on the issues and not the skin color. I’m sure you were one of our people who were calling Hillary and Bill Clinton racist this past week. It’s ok they forgive you. LOL…Hillary is going to win the nomination so you might as well get on board and stop HATING! :-)

republicans are lying in wait… neither obama or clinton (black male; white female) will stand a chance in fall 2008 against a white male candidate - unless both are on the same ticket. with the battle raging between them, that ain’t gonna happen. too many negative comments from one camp towards the other.
also, there has never even been black or female vice president. futhermore, how many blacks or females are in the u.s. senate? until that happens (non-white-male vice president) not gonna happen in the presidential race. not being predjudice, just realistic.
dems better look hard at edwards, cause if they don’t, no shot at the white house. but instead, they insist of futher dividing their party from within and with independent voters.
just sayin’

I have voted Republican ticket since DDE in mid fifties.Obama would be the Democrat nominee if he had more experience. Hillary is a shadow of present Washington, wife who accepted adultery by her husband while serving President of USA, questionable action in White House travel office, and Rose Law Firm papers. If this is what Americans elect for their next President, our country will exhaust its own CHANGE.

I think it’s healthy that we have 2, maybe 3 strong Democratic candidates in this race. Any one of them would be infinitely better than any of the Republican candidates they will be facing.
We are seeing the end of our national nightmare of Republican administration. What an embarrassment they have been and what potentially irreversible damage they have done.
You just can’t turn the clock back to an idealized world that never was.

Since the first time I heard Ronald Reagan speak when I was in eight grade, I cannot think of another political candidate with as much charisma as Sen. Obama. I am a conservative Republican that has voted and championed my Party since Reagan. My conservative friends really like Sen. Obama. His speeches are inspirational. JFK once said that America would land a man on the moon and regardless of the conventional wisdom at the time, guess what…..we did! We Republicans cannot be so arrogant that we have this next Presidential election locked up.

JUST THE FACTS…
Hillary’s Experience started in 2000 in US Senate. Obama’s Experience started in 1996 in Illinois Senate and 2004 in US Senate.
The experience question is answered.
The slum lord story is distorted as well. Read Hillary site (FactHub) and look at the article used to validate her story. See it for yourself.
Obama did not bring up the White Water investigation or Bill’s infidelities… yes, plural! Believe upon nomination, the Republicans will. They will remind everyone why Bill was impeached.
Don’t get me wrong, I am a conservative. But, I know a great political leader when I read about him or her! Obama will be a great President! Read about him for yourself… www.barackobama.com Hillary is a respectable foe. Read about her to learn about how she has fought for the poor for years. Both candidates are the best the Democratic Party has put forth.
Let’s not fall to the “Divide & Conquer” tactics of a system that is much big than Republicans & Democratics. I only hope to inspire one soul go a bit deeper.
Applause! Great job, Hillary. Kudos, Obama.

As a Republican I must say, Obama would give us Republicans more of a run for our money in November than Billary. He’d take a lot of younger voters and independents. However, I really doubt the Dems will nominate him. The skids are greased, the fix is in, it’s Billary!

Someone else on another site said: Has Clinton successfully marginalized Obama as the black candidate? Doing so will certainly hurt her in the general as precious resources must go to defray the damage to the plantation.

The Clintons are good folk. I am a black man and will vote for Obama, have contributed to him. And do so as much as I can but I still love the Clintons and will be there for Hillary if she gets the nomination. Let’s not forget what the Clinton’s did for black folk. Getting rid of the scar of welfare. How many of us, black folk remember the way the haters, characterized our black women as welfare queens. The Clintons lifted that scar from us and we should not forget that they made the masses realize and recognize that we are a people who just want to work and be seen like everyone else.

Every economic, foreign policy and social disaster of the Bush administration should lead to a Democratic landslide in the fall. However, the Democratic primaries seem scripted to blow the opportunity of a lifetime and ensure a Republican win. Is Karl Rove orchestrating the Democrats’ campaigns?

I am a 52 year old white male, and I have been supporting Obama since day one. He is smart (ed., Harvard Law Review!) and idealistic. Although I was very young, I still remember JFK, and no presidential candidate I can remember inspires hope and excitement for the American future like Obama since JFK was elected. I think a lot of geezers like me will agree. Race? It is, finally, irrelevant.

I have felt from the beginning that at some point - probably at the convention - a last minute back room deal will be cut between Clinton and Obama whereby one becomes the other’s VP running mate. While they may be sparring heavily now, being politicians, both can reverse themselves instantly and become best of buddies. Such a combination will be hard to beat.
We’ll see.

Who needs the KKK when you got Bill Clinton comparing Obama to Jesse Jackson because Jackson also won SC primaries in 84 and 88. I cannot believe what’s coming out of Bubba’s mouth. Just goes to show you that the Clinton’s are “color blind” when it’s convenient for them. They are pure and simple opportunists looking to get back into the White House.

Let’s see. Obama is a one term Senator who has spent the past 2 years running for President.
Black people will vote for him because he is black.
Big surprise. He won’t win Florida, and will be up shiat creek. Edwards is going to stay in the race long enough to get some political favors and be a kingmaker. (Atty General post, anyone!?)
