Long primary battle a good thing?
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
With Mitt Romney projected the winner of the Michigan primary voters in three states have now indicated a preference for three different GOP candidates seeking the presidential nomination. The Democratic race for the nomination is also far from decided. Do you like the idea that the primary battle may be long, and could just possibly extend all the way to the summer conventions?

Thank God Mitt Romney defeated that RINO (Republican in name only) John McCain. Have people forgotten across this nation the track record John McCain? That man should not even be in the race! Open borders, tax increases, McCain-Feingold, the “Gang of 14” which stopped the GOP from getting judicial nominees past Democrats and of which he was a prominent member…and also does anyone remember “The Keating 5” scandal…which featured that jut-jawed little dictator?? McCain and his counterpart from Arkansas Mike Huckabee need to be shown the door. The sooner the better!!!

I wouldn’t give two hoots in hell for any of these candidates.
It’s a dang shame that out of a nation of 350,000,000 this is the best we can do.

Ya’ know, conventional wisdom says vote Republican because of the war on terror. Dems of the past 30 years are naturally weak on defense and will not pursue Al-Qaida with any conviction. Basically, they cannot be trusted to keep us safe. Clinton and Obama both think we can sit around with Al-Qaida and sing Kum-by-yah and everything will be okay.
But then I look at the current crop of Repubs and guess what? Not one of them convinces me that they will keep us safe either. Fred Thompson is a maybe but his chances are slim to none. It’s really frustrating because it’s as if National Defense has been taken off the table. SO now because of domestic issues, I am inclined to give the Dem candidates another look.

Let’s say a socialist dem wins the white house. It’s a safe bet the country will vow never again to put a complete idiot like Hillary or Hussein in office again. Democraps don’t realize that even if they win they actually have to make decisions. Look at how much the country hates the democrat controlled house and senate. A bunch of morons. THe only thing that democrats are good at is smearing people and name calling. Oh, and blaming everyone else. Sort of like how blacks blame whitey because they can’t function like human beings.

Which goes to show how stupid “conventional wisdom” is, eh? Conventional wisdom also claims that the GOP is the party of fiscal responsibility and balanced budgets, despite years of evidence to the contrary.
Truth Hurts: You forgot something else Dems are good at… running the country! Remember eight years of peace and prosperity under Clinton, where the biggest “crisis” was a b*****?
And if there’s a “socialist Dem” running for office, please let me know who. None of the Democratic leaders even come close to that title.
Silly, silly people! I guess the anger comes out when you realize you’re backing a lost cause.

Thanks for the laugh. Jimmy Carter was so good at running the country he almost single-handedly brought it to its knees. The only thing that saved the Clinton years of shame was the Republican Revolution orchestrated by Newt Gingrich.
Sure, lets get a Democrat in office and bring back the “good ol’ years”

The sad truth is, Jimmy was right on pretty much every issue. And we ignored his message, to our cost, for WAY too long.
