A chance for Obama to prove his mettle
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Now Barack Obama has a chance to prove his mettle. Though he is 46 years old, the same age Bill Clinton was when he ran for the presidency in 1992, Obama is derided as too young, too inexperienced, too untested.
Now that he’s been thrown for a loop by poll predictions that were WAY off, he must be feeling a bit stressed. If he stays optimistic and continues to campaign with enthusiasm, he can regain the edge and get newfound respect. and votes

I think that Obama will now have to recognize that this is a race. Hillary has played her “woman’s” card with the emotional breakdown. I think the issues will now need to be addressed going forward and she’ll need to stop talking about what she did when Bill was the prez. Obama will now need to fully focus on his strengths and push the hope agenda that has served him well. He still finshed well in N.H. I think he still is the favorite.

Obama has the best chance to be President of this country. The Gop will never allow Hillary to win the Presidency if she were elected as the Democratic nominee. With so many people focusing on change, many will vote against Hillary in the presidential election just because of her name and her husband. People should be more strategic in their thinking and not vote just for a woman and women empowerment nor due to race and racial equality. it should be strictly who will be able to advance this country and get us out of this mess. if this country is to trully go into a new direction we must send the message loud and clear, WE WANT CHANGE. though Hillary is a woman and we have never had a woman President, she does NOT signify change. im sure she lives by the same morals and values as her husband, which is what and who people are trying to get away from.

Obama will win South Carolina by a landslide, Hillarity will come in third at best. Obama should cut a deal with Edwards to be vice president (Edwards as vp) in exchange for his support - they would make a good team. Edwards is young enough that in 8 years he could make his own run at the wh.

Read This: New Hampshire Democratic Primary Check out this website. It breaks down the number of votes to Machine counted vs hand counted. Notice how Clinton’s votes are inflated with Machine votes and Obama’s are deflated. This looks artificial and I think it is fraud. If they where not artificially inflated then the poll results would match the outcome from last nights primary. This needs to be exposed. I am just concerned that if this is happening in the primaries imagine what will happen in the general election.
And no I am not some crazed Ron Paul supporter. This is just the only website I found that breaks the data down so clearly. Personally I like Thompson. Thanks.

Was John ever indited for his role in the Savings and Loan looting, you know, the Keating Five affair? Why do the Washington thieves get to walk away from their crimes? McClown is a baby burner, a thief imho, and a Washington insider who has sold out America in favor of israel, just as his pal, Traitor Joe has directed him. I can not think of two worse men to be in positions of power in this nations capital. IMHO, they should both be serving long prison terms at GITMO

If Hilary or Obama wins the presidency I believe it will be great for the Republicans. Here’s why. Both are complete shams when it comes to how to run anything. They will both damage this country as Jimmy Carter did in the 70’s which will allow the Republican party to be angered in to producing a very conservative president. It could be the end of the socialist democrat party. Woo Hoo!

It’s not over for Obama. Now that the course has been set, It’s On. It’s time for the rubber to meet the road. This is going to be a heck of a summer. In past elections, I’ve voted Republican. Obama is the only Democrat I would consider voting for. Experience is not the issue here. Obama would be respected on the global stage. He is not a kid. He is a MAN. Let’s put our feet and money where our mouth is.

Yeah we need more Republican presidents. Because the world does not have enough wars and gas prices really need to be around $5/gal and the dollar can continue to decline. You so-called conservatives have been suckered into believing Republicans care about American citizens.
You all are so caught up in the “diehard party loyalist” crap.
Ok, what has Republicans done that makes the USA a better country? What new industry, how many need manufacturing jobs, anything?

The only question is when Edwards will leave the race so the anti-Hillary vote can come together for Obama.
He has spent the last 6 years in Iowa only to come in 2nd to a guy who was in the Illinois State House when Edwards started running for President in the run up to 2004.
If Edwards doesn’t win in South Carolina, he should end his candidacy(he won’t though). All he would be doing from that point on is artificially keeping Clinton’s campaign alive so she can attack Obama and possibly fatally damage his chances in the Presidental election.
The person to watch in the Dem race is Edwards. The longer he stays in, the longer Hillary remains a viable candidate.

“A chance for Obama to prove his mettle.”
Prove what mettle? I’m sure the guy won all the speech class awards in high school, but that does not automatically qualify him to be a leader. Anyone remember Hitler? That guy gave great audience moving speeches too, though I don’t think he would have been a good fit as commander in chief.
Here, let me save you some time Sinthia.
Everybody listen to the idiot box (TV) and vote for the Dems. There’s no need to think for yourself when the idiot box has already done it for you! And of course the TV wouldn’t lie, would it?

Who know WHAT Hillary is, or where she’s really from? I do know likes to ‘stretch the truth’, though. As far as Obama, how about some meat and potatoes regarding your positions rather than “I’m gonna change this or change that.”. Change what? What is that, and how are you gonna change it?

You are transparent, Tucker.
Previously you have been deriding those predicting Hilldabeast’s demise after just two primaries in two lightly populated states. Today you declare that Obama is in trouble after coming in second to Hilldabeast by narrow margin in one of those low-cal states.
Your fear and confusion regarding Hilldabeast’s eventual failure at the polls has made you more hypocritical than normal (and I use the term loosely) for a liberal.
Fools may think that her grifter husband was the first black president, but the enlightened voters of this nation will ensure that Hilldabeast will not be the first black (or white for that matter) malicious, unpleasant, selfish woman (get my drift?) to gain the presidency.

I voted republican before and later regretted because they did nothing. They throw red meat to the voters i.e. abortion (which they have never attempted to have overturned). This year will be immigration then they will vote for all the multi-national companies to continue to send jobs oversees and employ the very people they PRETEND to want to stay out of the country.
Republicans, provide a list of republican accomplishments. George Bush signed what great peice of legislation? Tax reform … just give us anything they ghave done.

I am so sick of people saying that the only reason Hillary won is because women felt sorry for her for crying! Speaking as a woman, I am insulted by those comments! I consider myself to be intelligent enough to decide on my candidate based on the facts and his or her stance on the issues. Right now, I am on the fence between Hillary and Obama. Their positions are similar on many issues, so now I have to do my homework to figure out which one I believe can do the best job for our country.
I cannot for the life of me understand why the majority of Republicans base their decisions on which candidate has the best personality. WHAT KIND OF SENSE DOES THAT MAKE??!!!! You all thought dubya was the kind of guy you’d like to have a beer with, and look at the MESS HE HAS MADE OF OUR COUNTRY!!!!

The Republicans have had their chance in the White House. It’s time for a change. Republicans, you are dreaming if you think you will win the election after the disastorous state you’ve left the country in. The tv (or idiot box, as you call it) isn’t deciding things for the American people. Your best bud, G.W. is making up their minds for them. You must take the American citizenry for fools. Everyone sees the mortgage crisis, the insane gas prices and everything else that shot up in price since your boy took office.

Hillary Clinton is a joke pretending to be a woman, pretending to be presidential material. Hillary Clinton does not have the Right Stuff to be Commander in Chief. No man will follow her into battle - She is fat and slow - I understand there will be mass retirements of officers and senior enlisted men if Hillarity the Clown becomes commander in chief. Hillarity can then put her dy ke brigade into uniform, that will be a real joke. Akmed and Abdul will laugh themselves silly, and Vladamir will send his tanks into Poland, and Hillary will stop them with the tears of a CLOWN.

Attention Federal Workers Posting on This Blog: If you are a federal employee blogging from your government paid for office, on your government issued computer, over a government provided internet access point, on paid government time, be WARNED. I have filed complaints with the GAO and the inspector general’s offices for HHS, Ag, Ed, HUD, and six other agencies so far regarding your misuse of Federal equipment, and work time. I can assure you that they can identify you completely based on your computer log on and server records, along with the content of your posts, the time of the post, the date of the post, and the blog to which it was posted. The penality for your crime is dismissal from Federal Service, a substansial fine, and prison time. They will be coming for you, sooner rather than later - That pesky Hatch Act is taken seriously in Washington. Ta Ta

“A rapist? Really, Sandy?! A terrorist? Really now?! Everything you just said proves that there is a major problem with our political system.”
I must have hit close to the mark to get you all riled up like that!
Joe, you’re absolutely right. Everything I said does prove that there is a major problem with our political system. NONE of these morons that are being put in front of us are not fit to hold the position; conservative or liberal. Sorry you don’t like the rapist comment. I bet you ask the girls he forced himself on during his time in the White House to classify him as either a good guy or a rapist that they would use the latter description. Sorry Joe, but the guy didn’t lose his law license for being a great leader. He lost it for doing dirty, dirty things and lying abou t** under oath. So yeah, RAPIST is a good fit for the man. As far as Obama is concerned, terrorist might be a bit of a stretch, but with Barry’s middle name being Hussein, I can’t think of anything else more fitting. Finally, am I the only person seeing Oprah getting on the stump and pandering to her viewing audience to help get Barry elected? Am I the only person seeing the media slam Bush whenever they get a chance? With so much Bush Hatred out there you comment about him making up the minds of the people is assenine. ALL of these front runners are crooks to an extent; it just happens to be more visible on the left side of the aisle.
Bush doesnt set gas prices. That is what the business world does. That is what you do every time you fill your tank. The oil industry makes 8 cents per gallon on gas while the government gets about 50 cents per gallon. The same rules of economy apply for the mortgage crisis. The lenders made bad decisions and now they’ve collapsed the market. Simple economics apparently escape past simple minds.
And frankly, yes you would have every reason to be worried for your life around me; mainly because I think for myself and I can see from your comments that you thinking for youself could hazardous to your own health. Liberalism is a mental disorder.

Does anyone ever question the election results? Could cheating be involved in the NH race given that this state was involved in this type of activity recently?
It seems quite odd that all of the exit poll data indicated that Obama won; however, when the votes were counted Hillary came out the victor virtually shocking everyone. This race closely resembled President Bush elections.
1.) Bush screwed up in the debates and in one debate he had a meltdown just like Hillary. 2.) The exit polls indicated that he lost in 2OOO similar to Hillary. 3.) The day after a Bush election everyone is in shock because many did not vote for him or like him - just like Hillary. 4.) The media will provide some dumb analysis and reason as to why Bush/Hillary won: “It was the soccer moms” or he/she cried, etc.
The only way I believe a vote is if it’s conducted like the Iowa Caucus where everyone is placed in a room and supporters are divided according to who they support.
Now I understand why results are different in Iowa and NH. IT’S CALLED CHEATING!!!!!
