Why they play the game…

As they say in football, this is why they play the game. The early BCS poll didn’t mean much. Neither did polls going into today’s primary showing Obama with a runaway lead.

With Clinton the projected winner, what happened with the pollsters’ predictions?

When I heard earlier today that there were a record number of first time registrants showing up at the polls today I jokingly said maybe Hillary had figured out a way to win this thing.

Turns out it might not have been a joke. In New Hamster you can register when you show up to vote and you don’t have to live, you just have to promise you’re going to be moving there.

If these numbers hold up some reporter needs to go check the tags on some buses that are lined up to leave the state jammed full of “future residents.”

~~~~~~~~
The first BCS poll this year had Ohio State 1 and LSU 4, so they were pretty close. Perhaps Cynthia should stick with writing about….well I was going to say things she knows something about, but that wouldn’t leave her anything to write about, would it?
Well, well, look at this.
The libs are rejecting the black man and choosing the hate instead.
I guess Obama should have chosen the Republican path, he could have joined Condi and Colin in the history books.
But no, he’s a pinko, and pinkos are not that smart, they want the “wife” of some failed ArKKKansas redneck.
Good for them.
God Save Us from the demon-crats and their stupidity. Voting for this vile, disgusting woman who will no doubt nominate her disgusting husband to the Supreme Court where he can extol his twisted liberal values and support of homosexual causes on our nation until his death if he so chooses. Lord, forgive these liberals, they know not what they do, and deliver this country from the hands of the evil demon-crats that are trying to destroy us and further the terrorists hatred against us by supporting the homosexuals. God Hates Gays! God Hates America! The Iraq War is the retribution of an ANGRY God on America for the tolerance these liberal hate mongers show for the homosexuals.
Hillary! I cant believe my blogs didn’t knock her out. I must retreat into my cave and devise another fiendish attack of ridicule and mockery to finish her off once and for all and for the common good. That lady who asked her about how she was doing yesterday and then threw out the word, “personal” had to be a plant. A Hillary plant, because “it’s personal” was the phrase Edwards used so effectively in the debate. Hillary saw that on replays and stole it. That lady was a plant, who used the word “Personal” in her question to Hillary so that Hillary could use it in her lugubrious reply.
I think McCain is too old and I don’t trust Hillary Clinton. Hope things get better in the political arena down the road. Tonight is not looking so good. Still trying to learn more about the other candidates. I do hope that we can all work together to bring about a positive change in America irregardless of who is in the White House. There is no room for progress when you have so much negativity and hatred.
I need Hillary to lose the nomination. Her only unfulfilled goal in life is the presidency and she will surely use her unspent millions to mount an independent campaign. Hopefully Bloomberg will use his $billion$ to run also. Then the dems and repubs will have some competition for the White House and potentially for state houses and Congress as well. We need more parties.
I think Barack Obama at 46 yrs old should concede in this presidential primary election. We are running the risk of believing an illusion that has massive repercussions. I remember back when Cynthia McKinney(D) was running and the Republicans crossed over and voted in a Democratic election in support of her opposition and she lost. I’m not comparing McKinney to Obama, but I’m comparing that folks are crossing over to hoist Obama over Clinton.
We still live in a time where race, sadly stills plays a major role in today’s society (just do a review in the news for 2007 and see how blacks are still being mistreated).
My theory is that Obama will get the nomination at the convention which is what the other side wants, but he will not have a chance to win against a white republican. The wins that are coming now on this primary trail (go back to McKinney) is just to make sure Clinton or possibly Edwards don’t get the nomination. We all would love to see an intelligent black man in the white house, but look at what we have at stack if he gets the nomination and losses another 4yrs of a Republican president.
This country was founded on race then politics. What we must consider is that some democrats will not vote for him due to he is black. And a no vote is a yes vote for the opposition. At least with Clinton we still have the democratic vote, the woman vote, minority vote, and she is associated with prosperity for minorities in this country.
I mention Obama’s age because it’s not like he can’t run again. I think we shouldn’t chance another 4yrs of a Republican president. Let’s allow Clinton or possibly Edwards win the office and then in 4yrs we send Obama after her or him. In turn this allows him more experience and a force to be reckon with. It’s just too much at stake and too many factors to be considered to think he will beat a white republican. Along with at least if Clinton or Edwards win we have a 4yr reprieve from misery.
Who is Barack Obama?
Something that should be considered when you make your choice.
If you do not ever forward anything else, please forward this to all your contacts…it is very scary to think of what could lie ahead for us here in our own United States…better heed this and pray about it and share it.
We checked this out on ” snopes.com”. It is factual. Check for yourself.
Who is Barack Obama?
Probable U. S. presidential candidate, Barack Hussein Obama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii , to Barack Hussein Obama, Sr., a black Muslim from Nyangoma-Kogel, Kenya and Ann Dunham, a white Athiest from Wichita, Kansas .
Obama’s parents met at the University of Hawaii. When Obama was two years old, his parents divorced. His father returned to Kenya. His mother then married Lolo Soetoro, a radical Muslim from Indonesia. When Obama was 6 years old, the family relocated to Indonesia. Obama attended a Muslim school in Jakarta. He also spent two years in a Catholic school.
Obama takes great care to conceal the fact that he is a Muslim. He is quick to point out that, “He was once a Muslim, but that he also attended Catholic school.”
Obama’s political handlers are portraying him as not being a radical and state that his introduction to Islam came via his father and that this influence was temporary at best. In reality, the senior Obama returned to Kenya soon after his divorce, and never again had any direct influence over his son’s education.
Lolo Soetoro, the second husband of Obama’s mother, Ann Dunham, introduced his stepson to Islam. Obama was enrolled in a Wahabi school in Jakarta.
Wahabism is the radical Islamic teaching that is followed by the Muslim terrorists who are now waging Jihad against the western world. Since it is politically expedient to be a Christian when seeking major public office in the United States, Barack Hussein Obama has joined the United Church of Christ in an attempt to downplay his Muslim background. Also, keep in mind that when he was sworn into office he did not use the Holy Bible, but instead the Koran.
Barack Hussein Obama will NOT recite the Pledge of Allegience nor will he show any reverence for our flag. While others place their hands over their hearts, Obama turns his back to the flag and slouches.
Let us all remain alert concerning Obama’s expected presidential candidacy.
The Muslims have said they plan on destroying the US from the inside out, what better way to start than at the highest level - through the President of the United States, one of their own!!
As New Hampshire has an open primary and anyone could have voted for anyone, I think that the only takeaway message from this is that it is time to retire this state’s motto - “live free or die.”
When a man who wants to restore freedom, restore the republic, restore the constitution, and restore the Bill of Rights loses to this crowd, it is hard to believe that there is really any hope left for america.
Ron Paul is in this for the long haul, and maybe as the economy worsens folks will start to realize what all of us freedom fighters have been saying at least since Nixon, and manybefore that, that the problem is with government and our national rejection of the constitution.
It is obvious that freedom won’t be taken away from this country. The majority will happily vote it away on the false hope of security.
MrLiberty,
New Hampshire doesn’t have an open primary like Georgia. In New Hampshire you can be registered to a party and you’re bound to that party or you can register as undeclared and choose whichever ballot you want.
The undeclared are roughly 40% of the voters and the reason it isn’t higher is because when you go to the primary undeclared you have to change your registration to the party whose ballot you want to take.
After you vote you can get back in line and change your affiliation back to undeclared, but that’s really a pain in the butt IMHO.
Frankly the system in Georgia seems ideal and has definitely gives more freedom in your voting choice.
It was very sad to see Hillary and Bill play the race card in New Hampshire.
It worked very well in the heavily populated areas full of “white flight” Boston suburbs.
The anti-Hillary vote will carry the day at the end for the Democrats, but the Clintons will likely doom Obama’s Presidential chances with brutal assaults on his character that will come from them over the next two months.
4 more years of the GOP at least, thanks in part to the Clintons.
Tough break for Obama, given that he was projected to win by double digits by some. Good comeback by Hillary. Some might reasonably argue that it’s Obama who came back from a double digit difference with his post Iowa “surge”, but really, all of that stuff was mostly manufactured fantasy anyway.
It appears Hillary dominated the womens vote, and also won the over 40 voters. Obama didn’t have enough independents and youth to overcome that mountain.
Next stop SC. Hillary will now reacquire the front-runner label. Ultimately, super tuesday will be the showdown. Get ready to be inundated with requests for money and/or support. This is a fight.
Maybe now black people should realize that the deck is stacked against them in the democrat party and that they will forever be a distant second to the party machine.
“Change,” ha.
Name one thing the democrats have done for you- fought against civil rights, created the perpetual poverty of welfare, dumped your children into overcrowded third rate inner city schools that are not there to educate but are instead pension factories for the Teacher’s Unions.
And now when one of yours steps forward to lead the party, look at all the anger from the white powers that be, calling your legitimate success, your hard earned climb to the top, a “fairy tale.”
They are dismissive of you.
Maybe they will “apologize” to you or offer reparations, you reckon?
So claim your token prize, pack away all of your hopes and all of your dreams, and take your seat on the back of the democrat party bus.
Where they think you belong.
~~~~~~

The polls-

Were taken on Monday among the residents of New Hampshire.

10 point lead Obama.

Tuesday, the people from neighboring Taxachussetts, who were not a part of any poll in New Hampshire, boarded their buses and headed towards the nearest poll.

Bus fare paid by the Klintoon Kampaign.

~~~~~~
How many of the anti Klintoon votes will were hardcore and will eventually come back as Republican in the general election?
And how can we sweeten that pot?
Vice President Obama?
Clinton’s divisive, attack mode were right out of the Rove play book. Combined with her phoney, calculated “emotional moment”, she won the female vote in large numbers & pulled victory from defeat.
As a life long Democrat, I would pass on the election before ever voting for her. After twenty years of the Bush/Clinton partisan garbage, it astonishes me that anyone wants another sequel. Please, Barack, save us.
You obviously aren’t that bright. Do you believe that Hillary, if she wins, will actually nominate her husband to the Supreme Court. The Constitution doesn’t expressly state that one must hold a law license to be a Supreme Court Justice but who thinks that Bill Clinton would be approved by the Senate, especially since he surrendered his law license — a result of the hearings held at the end of hs Presidency.
YES, YES, YES,YES, “GO HILLARY” Now maybe some of you Hillary haters can stop being so miserable and ignorant. All of you are going to have a heart attack or high blood pressure if you don’t quite down. Get over it. This is not about the race factor as some of you would like it to be. It is about change and trying to get the Nation out of a terrible mess that “Bush” got us into. If Queen Elizabeth can run her country why can’t we give a woman (Hillary) a chance to run ours. We haven’t had a man to be able to do that for a very long time so now lets give a woman a chance without having to critize them.
Now on to “BYAlexis: You miserable nut. It is people like you that has so much hate in the world. I would love to meet you and your parents so I could see and try to figure out where they went wrong in raising someone with so much hate. What kind of a person are you. God does not hate Gays, nor do he hate America only people like you hate gays and America so if you have so much hate in your miserable life why don’t you do us all (American) a favor and put a gun to your head and pull the trigger. That is if you can take the time to pull your head out of your A*. You are such a sad, sad person. I hope you don’t have any kids and if you do I hope they don’t have so much hate as you do because if they do then some poor person or family will have to sufer a lost because sometime in their life they will probably go crazy and kill someone because of what you believe and teach in them. Thank God not everyone thinks like you or else we would really be in more of a mess then what “Bush” has done for this Nations. You really need help and I hope you will seek it soon or else someone is going to die at your miserable hands.
It is just two states and someone is acting like Hillary is president.
I am voting for Obama and will continue to support him until he states that it is over.
Then I will support Edwards
Very sad results. A decent, law-abiding candidate (Obama) with real ideas for the future is defeated by a treacherous, fake, vile candidate (Clinton) who played the race care and used scare tactics to deceive the voters. As it was mentioned above, “Hillary is the epitome of class” - only if you remove the first two letters of “class”.
It’s a very sad day when we are being faced with another Clinton in office and another run for McCain. We need some fresh blood in there, not just the same group of “good o’boys” who know where to scratch and whom. Just give it a rest and lets focus on some real leaders with a real direction and conviction to do what’s right, not just what people want to hear.
GO HUCKABEE!!!!!
Zo, we DO need Obama. As a progressive white male from south georgia—and I’m far from the current definition of liberal, although a liberal thinking person—i reject the cynicism and bitterness that has become so fashionable. I do hear JFK in Obama’s voice. In your heart of hearts, do you not think that hope is true?
Maybe Chief Executive is an overrated position—and with the experiences with this last administration, we might want to curtail its powers even more—but they set the tone. They have to convince us why we should support or reject what congress moves to enact. And dammit, we need someone who knows how to TALK to us! As shallow as that sounds, part of good leadership is communicating with your people. A few choice words at times of great import are tiny things, but let folks realize the power to move mountains. W sure can’t do that. Hillary’s words sound tired. Obama has that presence, that confidence.
Yeah, he doesn’t do much, but what he does isn’t important—it’s what the rest of the people do that matters. Like JFK, what can YOU do, and you believe you can.
My ideal ticket is Obama/McCain, or McCain/Obama.
You are transparent, Tucker.
Yesterday you were going off the deep end about conservative radio talk-show hosts finding a new target to bash if Clinton were too lose in New Hampshire. Today you are as giddy as little girl about pollsters and pundits underestimating her. Admit it though, you were scared yesterday and you still are today Why? Because you know deep in your heart that the fool Democrats might give Hilldabeast the nomination, but she won’t win the general election.
You see, the majority of Americans aren’t as stupid as she thinks. They have no desire for a third-term Clinton presidency. They won’t buy all the denials and the claims that Bill will simply be a “house husband” ready to soothe and console her after a hard days work in the Oval Office. The image is laughable and false (not to mention unsettling) as is everything with the Clintons.
Plus, there is no third-party spoiler candidate to enable her to “sweep” into office as a minority president as did her grifter husband.
You know all this to be true, so weep now, Tucker, or forever hold your peace.
It doesn’t matter which side you’re on - the reality is that two families have had control of this country for the past 19 years (even longer if you believe that President Reagan was becoming impaired during his last term and vice-president Bush had increasing influence on national matters). If Hillary (spit) is elected by you people, this two-family dynasty will continue - you call this change? Let’s give Obama a chance and choose a good middle-of-the-road Republican, put these two men up against each other and have an adult election for a “change”.
Why would anyone who is in favor of change vote for Hillary?
She has given Bush a blank check time and time again.
In addition she had the gall to tell people not to believe in hope, as it is not practical.
I hope Hillary will be our next President and chose Obama to be Vice-President and if she doesn’t win and Obama wins I hope he will ask her to be our Vice-President. Either way that would be two great minds leading out Nation out of the mess that “Bush” and his party has got us into. Either way it goes maybe it will shut people up and a black man or woman can run our Nation. Because it cannot get any worst off then what we are in now. Guess what “Bush” just gave me a raise of 1.25 out of 3.5 for this year and guess where the rest of it is going, yes his war. I do not support this war (but as a Veteran I do support the Military and work with them everyday at my job and witness 9/11 first hand and thank God I lived thru it) and now my money that I work so hard to earn is being split into to support his war and not the Military because he could care less about our Military. He sits up here in the White House everyday and he has never taken a moment out of his day to attend someone child funeral because it would take him away from his launcheon or his run along the potomac. We have several funeral a day at Arlington and you would think that he could attend at least one or two aweek. So I say to you Mr. President bring our kids home now. Quit playing God with someone else child or send someone in your family over their and see how it feels day by day and wonder if they will come home alive. By the way did you “Bush” supporter no that not one of “Bush” family member including Uncle, Aunts, Cousin ect. ect. are in the Military. Course not they are not crazy. They don’t want to die and why should they, they have our kids to do it for them. Two many lives have been wasted and I am tried of attending family member funeral as well as friends that I use to work with. For the ones that support his war try going to a funeral and waitness what the family is going thru especially when it is the only child. It is not a happy time. Children should not die before parents. It is just not fair. So I hope who ever becomes our next President except for McCain, because he wants the war to continue because he is on “Bush” bandwagon will say enough is enough and bring them home. These foreign countries will always be at war with one another because that is how they have been raised. We should not be expected to fix something that is never going to be fixed. BUSH STOP THIS WAR NOW AND BRING OUR KIDS HOME.
Leon - what language are you speaking? It certainly isn’t standard American English. Maybe if you paid more attention in school and learned your nation’s language, you would be receiving better raises. Blame yourself, not the president.
Folks- What does it say about a candidate who, at 60 years of age, wants to run one of the greatest nations of the world, and claims that she’s “finally found her voice.” At least Obama, at age 46, knows what his voice is and does not question his convictions or motivations for running for president. What this country needs is a true leader, not someone who is still finding themselves a la Hillary Clinton.
Leon - I’ve been a government employee since 1989 and I remember back in the ‘90’s during the CLINTON administration when federal employees got no raises at all for two years! This was all to finance his mismanaged policies and to falsely claim to be lowering the federal deficit when all he did was divert expenditures from the beginning of his administration to the end to make it look like he wasn’t spending money.
By Leon
By Anyone but Hillary: I don’t no what Government you worked for but I guess in Atlanta area only. I have been in the Government since 1966 and we have always gotton a raise every year plus a locality for the area that we work in (DC) maybe not as much as we would like but we got one and by the way President Clinton did give us a raise each year he was President so go back and check your information. Bush has been the only President that has cut out pay raise into just to support his f&&&* War.
This is for By Teacher: for what little money you make as a Teacher you should not be talking. You should want a President who will give you more money and it is not the Republican. I make more money a year ($106,904) then you will ever make as a teacher, and yes I went to a great High School in Georgia and by the way I graduated with a 3.0 grade average and went to a great College and I am tried of Republican trying to take it away. I work nine and ten hours a day to have something that provides me with a great retirement pension, and as a teacher on your salary, bet you can’t say that. So you go a head and be a critic of my laungage and continue to live off the money you make ($60 thousand a year and be happy) and having to live pay check to pay check because you will never have anything and continue to complain about your salary.
Sorry, Leon but you are dead wrong about the raises during the Clinton administration. Here’s an excerpt from a federal employee’s website:
Based on a law signed by former President Bush and pushed by a Democratic Congress in the early 1990s, federal workers were supposed to get automatic pay raises designed to “close the gap” between the same jobs in the federal and private sectors. President Clinton had the first opportunity to implement the new pay law in 1993 – which he promptly responded to by proposing a zero federal pay increase. In fact, Clinton actually proposed a lower pay raise than called for by the pay law every year of his administration.
Now everybody take it easy on Leon! He has to support the HillaBeast. Putting somebody in charge that actually has some fiscal responsibility might mean cutbacks in government personnel, and I think we can all tell by Leon’s impressive writing skills that he, probably above all others in his department, has to be shaking in his little “I love the HillaBeast” boots about that. Leon has to do what is right for him; protect that 100k he makers per year to post to blogs and rest of the nation be damned! I hear ya’ buddy! Everybody just lay off!!! :)
Yes, I believe I know how the votes were fixed
Did anyone take notice of the CNN Election Center’s list of ALL of the candidates that were on the New Hampshire Ballot? Minor candidates, that someone must have known, and helped get on to the ballot, even if the only had one vote, which they would have cast for themselves, there would have been at least 25 or more. Add those votes to the number of votes that could have been cast for Tancredo, who had previously withdrawn, but his name would still have been on the ballot. And what about ALAN KEYES; yes he IS in the race, and has been since September 2007; and in the Iowa Debate, and campaigned all over the state of New Hampshire. Do you think he would not have garnered at least 1,000 votes (which still unto this very day the amount has not been revealed by the GOP…his own Party)
And then throw into the blender secret Sample Ballot amounts) computerized projections, and early voting numbers?
But lets concentrate on the actual number of candidates on the ballot which we KNOW will not be reported.
Someone mentioned “shades of Al Gore” 2000. It was not until it was announced that Gore was ahead, that the Bush Camp began to cry fowl, and insisted that the votes be COUNTED BY HAND. You see, I do not believe it is the voting that is corrupted, it is the MECHANICAL AND COMPUTERIZED TALLYING that is stealing the votes that can not be registered, and are being distributed subversively to the popular candidate (of choice).
How can that be done you say. “GIGO”; Garbage In, Garbage Out. The way the twig is bent, so the tree shall go.
Do you recall when the Networks would show us the “red” and “blue” state results on election night. How could it have been that winners were announced of all votes cast NATIONWIDE, TWO to THREE HOURS after the polls had closed, and yet counties of 50,000 and less had not either started or completed COUNTING THEIR VOTES?
I recall when I was in Detroit, Michigan, as a Delegate to the Democratic Convention. The Party Nominee had already been selected. I rose to the floor and requested that all of the candidates be reconsidered, because our caucus had been supporting a 20 year veteran of the community. I asked for a secret ballot, and though the all would be for nothing if we lost because the chair asked for a secret vote to, to have the secret vote. Well the short story is we voted, and our Candidate won, the Primary Nomination.
We hit the streets campaigning in the rain, sleet and snow. On the night of the General Election, Around 10:pm, an announcement came over the radio (in those days) that the count had gone to “0”; for all offices, including our Senatorial Candidate’s.
You know the rest of the story. All of their candidates in all races came out winners. That is why I have always been suspicious to the “exit poll” projections.
Finally let me leave you with an example: If 50 electors go to vote for a ballot containing 25 candidates, and one vote is cast by each elector, (5 being well publicized by the Media and 20 unknown) fifty votes were cast, but the computer was skillfully PROGRAMMED to assign 5 extra votes to candidate A, 10 extra votes to candidate B, and 3 votes each to candidates C,D,and E;
The result would be A=6; B=11; and C,D,and E with 4 votes each. B of course would be declared the winner.
But that still does not add up to 50 votes cast. That is no problem the excess votes were listed as VOID, CAST IN ERROR, or any other chosen designation. No one would know to whom the votes were cast, the other vote could just as well be legitimate votes cast above the suggested 1 vote per candidate.
Point number 2. How could Clinton gain the upper hand over Obama, look at the position on the ballot. How many of the unknown names were between “C” and “O”. I rest my case, and Please do not forget ALAN KEYES IS ON THE BALLOT IN GEORGIA. Talk about him BEFORE Feb. 5th. Remember He had not dropped out in 2000,when the Headlines should have read BUSH,KEYES, and McCain. And remember although he was defeated by Barak Obama; that only goes to show that of all the candidates of both Parties, no one would know their opponent better. For information spread the word, www.alankeyes.com. and COUNT THE VOTES….
ALAN KEYES IN ON YOUR BALLOT
America is Missing Out on a Great Man January 10, 2008 12:00 PM EST
America is missing out on Alan Keyes. Many conservatives have told me they didn’t even know Keyes was running for President. In fact, Keyes has been running since September 2007.
The media and Republican party doesn’t hesitate to leave him out of debates or the spotlight even though he has declared he’s running and has not dropped out of the race.
Iowa’s caucuses were on Jan. 3rd. Iowa’s Republican Party has yet to disclose the number of votes Alan Keyes received in Iowa.
John Lund of the Des Moines, Iowa Republican Headquarters said, “We didn’t have the electronic means to record the tallies for Keyes, so we can’t yet report to the public how many votes Keyes got.”
What an excuse! This is a VERY important election and we are already seeing major election problems.
Another gaffe came on behalf of ABC, as the network left Alan Keyes and 3 other candidates (Duncan Hunter, Dennis Kucinich, and Mike Gravel) running for president out of the New Hampshire debates Saturday. These men didn’t reach the appropriate “benchmarks” in terms of garnering much support, therefore they were cut.
When ANY candidate is left out of a debate and ignored, it is ultimate disrespect, not only to the candidate running for office but to the voters. The people of this country deserve better than that. ALL candidates who are running for president (who don’t intend on dropping out) should be acknowledged and allowed to speak before the American people.
Getting back to Alan Keyes…
Mr. Keyes is man who I believe best represents the American people. When he talks about America’s moral foundation, the importance of the Constitution, and this nation’s prior leaders’ strength and reliance on Almighty God, you know he’s being truthful with you.
The top tier Republican candidates have changed their stripes while campaigning to sound more conservative. Some of them waffle on important social issues and others are lackluster in regards to national defense. Alan Keyes has maintained his strong stance on God and country, shows a balance in terms of how he would deal with national security issues, and is very conservative in regards to social issues.
Alan Keyes is a man conservatives have been looking for. He served under the Reagan Administration as Assistant Secretary of State for International Organization Affairs and Ambassador to the Economic and Social Council to the UN.
Reagan is quoted as saying, “I’ve never known a more stout-hearted defender of a strong America than Alan Keyes.” Keyes has served in other US departments as well and has more remarkable accomplishments to add to his resume:
He was host of Alan Keyes is Making Sense, a commentary show on MSNBC in 2002. His show had a diverse audience tuning in, but it did not last. Before that he hosted The Alan Keyes Show: America’s Wake-Up Call a syndicated radio show in Arlington, VA in 1994. I can’t fail to mention his conservative activism work as he heads up Renew America and the Declaration Foundation online.
On a lighter note, Keyes was featured in Sacha Baron Cohen’s Borat movie. Ah yes, I wonder if I have grabbed the attention of a few more people with that one. Keyes also has been known to jump into a mosh pit of young folk who were jamming to the music of Rage against the Machine back in 2000 during the primaries.
It appears Keyes also has a light-hearted side, not always stern and opposing. He is a Republican candidate however who will not waver from his conservative views.
Another interesting fact is that Keyes was a military brat…something we share in common. And as he has served under Reagan, a president known for strengthening the military, I know that Alan Keyes will hold the military in high regard and fully back our men and women in the US Armed Forces.
When you see a candidate with determination and grit to tough it out (regardless of trailing the front runners) and continue on the path toward helping America, you know you have a great leader. Keyes could easily bow out and say that he doesn’t have the support necessary to continue with his campaign for president. But he’s not.
Keyes is genuinely concerned about the state of America as it exists today and needs your help and attention. On Alan Keyes’ website RenewAmerica.us, there is a pledge for America’s Revival…or rather America’s comeback from the darkness and mire we’ve been bogged down in.
I ask that the American public doesn’t count him out as they consider their next choice for America’s president.
Alan Keyes, he’s the ultimate underdog.
  • I wish a presidential candidate was not a politician… till we can find one of those, we won’t have a good president, just the lesser of many evils.
  • Lincoln did far more for black freedom (I purposely don’t say “african-american”) than Martin Luthor King Jr. Yet, he is overshadowed for the color of his skin. Talk about reverse racism… make sure you recognize people for the color of their skin, it’s all they have.
  • I have decided that a “good citizen” is someone who breaks the law less than police. Between speeding, illegal parking and backing out onto a major road from the police station, they’ve broken more laws than I can in my lifetime.
