Remembering Dorothy Felton
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Dorothy Felton, who represented Sandy Springs in the Georgia House of Representatives for 26 years, died Tuesday at her home of complications from rheumatoid arthritis.
The funeral for Mrs. Felton, 78, will be at noon Saturday at St. James United Methodist Church. Sandy Springs Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Photo: An AJC staff photo taken in March 2000 shows Mrs. Felton at the end of her last term in the Georgia House. On her desk was a bouquet of flowers from her husband and a book titled “Georgia On My Mind,” a gift from the Republican Caucus.
Sign the guestbook here for Dorothy Felton, and you can also leave your thoughts and memories below. Some of these may be used in the upcoming Northside print section.
A news article about Mrs. Felton is online and in the Friday print editions of the AJC.

My deepest sympathies go out to the family of Dorothy Felton. She represented our community in Martins Landing (Roswell) in the 1980’s until redistricting changed North Fulton. She was always responsive and had a wonderful spirit of cooperation and caring for everyone. Respectfully, Gail (Mann) Jones.
