Notable landmarks in Johns Creek
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
We wrote the other day about efforts by Johns Creek to come up with a logo that symbolizes the city. The question is a stumper so far.
So here’s an easier question. Aside from the Chattahoochee River, what would you say are the major landmarks of Johns Creek? We’ll take the best suggestions and put them into a map of the city for your enjoyment.
For starters, may we suggest Autrey Mill Nature Center, Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church, Newtown Park. What else belongs on the list?

I can’t think of any more landmarks however, I see the city as being well preserved and everyone is welcome. My only suggestion for a logo would be Johns Creek, a city of notible excellence.

Why not a picture of the Fulton County Commissioners with a BIG RED X on top.
Johns Creek’s biggest accomplishment is tearing itself away from the billboards, strip-centers, 3rd world roads, and being sucked dry of local funds to improve ourselves.

How about the poor police officers who patroled the streets of johns creek since 1975, now will have to go to south fulton. They need to erect a nice picture for the outgoing police officers.
