Dunwoody Place and Roswell Road: Finally, some action
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Earlier this week, AJC writer Cynthia Daniels reported that crews went back to work this week on improving the intersection of Roswell Road and Dunwoody Place.
The work, which would’ve created dedicated bike lanes, new traffic signals and improved drainage, was originally scheduled to be complete in December 2006. The date soon changed to June 2007, and then never — a result of delayed utility relocations and issues between the state Department of Transportation and project contractor the Lions Group.
Mark McKinnon, a GDOT spokesman, said the Lions Group will also complete work on the intersection of Roswell Road and Northridge Road — which was also scheduled for improvements.
Both projects should be complete by spring 2008, McKinnon said.
