Where are the best Northside holiday lights?
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Are your neighbor’s Christmas lights visible from the international space station? Does your subdivision go so hog-wild with holiday decor that you need a cop to direct traffic? We want to know where the Northside’s most decorated homes and neighborhoods are. Send us an e-mail at northside@ajc.com, or you can post a reply below to tell us your nominee.

Don’t know. However, the headline of “Holiday Lights” is absurd.

JB:
If you know of a good neighborhood where folks can go see Christmas lights, we’d love to hear your suggestion.
Critiques of headlines are welcomed too, but not quite as fun.

did you know there is a raing system for judging the quality (or lack thereof) of outdoor christmas decorations during drivebys? 1 honk for moderatly tacky decor and 5 honks for the ultimate tacky, plastic decorations. There is a house on long Island Dr. that has blow-up world for Christmas. I think they even have blow-up soldiers guarding the blow-up manger scene. I think the little Lord blow-up Baby Jesus really likes the blow-up frosty the snowman. There is another house in Brookhaven with a tiny front lawn where every available space is occupied by a blow-up Christmas something!…worth about two or three honks. Does anyone know where the Elvis Christmas house is?

West Islip in Suffolk…there’s a house off Montauk Highway…near Good Sam Hospital Absolutely beautiful. Decorated with class. Not over done, just right.
