Home Brewery

You know holiday season is here when the Neiman Marcus Christmas Book arrives.

Yesterday after flipping through pages and pages of jewelry and clothing I couldn’t afford, I landed on Page 79…which featured one of the yearly Fantasy Gifts…

pub.jpg

An authentic Guinness Home Pub.

Imagine never having to leave your home to get served a pint of stout.

For a whopping $250,000, RiRa Pubs will design and build a fully functional Irish Pub for your home in honor of the 250th anniversary of Arthur Guinness’ brewery founded in 1759.

They’ll even use authentic Guinness artifacts in the design, supply fresh Guinness stout for a year, and send you on a luxury VIP trip to Ireland (how nice!) to visit the St. James Gate Brewery where it all began.

Here’s a formula to help you decide if you should invest in a home brewery:

((# trips to local pub per week)x(cost of gas used to get there)+(yearly bar tab))/$250,000

If your answer is 1 or greater, go for it…

(Click here for a gallery of more fantasy items.)

What fantasy gift for your home would you love to have this holiday season?

For the holidays I would love to see Ron Paul somehow win the presidency and for every incumbent in every elected office in america to lose their jobs, either through election or impeachment.

America needs a fresh start with someone who has the right answers.

Without such a wonderful present I am afraid that 2007 may have been america’s last joyous holiday for a long time.

May peace be with everyone this holiday season and please take some time to educate yourself about the economy. The media and the vested interests are just perpetuating lies.

Why all the Doom and Gloom for Obama. Get used to it folks— There is no stopping him at all. It is all but impossible now for him to lose! The republicans will not turn out in large numbers on election day. Democrates are aready out vting republicans 3 to 1 in early voting.

Merry Christmas to President elect OBAMA!!!!!!!

Tamika only wants Obama to win so she can be part of his welfare, I mean wealth distribution.

Take from the responsible hard workers, and give it to the unresponsible idiots who refuse to get a job. Ya know, WELFARE.

Tamika - it has VERY little to do woth Republican vs. Democrat. No need to label. And this election also has not a DANG thing to do with GWB. What we Anti-Obama CAPITALISTS believe in is fiscal and personal responsibility. Instead, what we’re about to enter into is a welfare state that goes against everything our Founding Fathers stood for.

As Abraham Lincoln said, “Property is the fruit of labor; property is desirable; it is a positive good in the world.” Now, why would any American think it’s OK for the Government to take such property (in this case, referencing Obama’s tax plan, with “property” being my income) and give it to someone else? That’s good for no one. It breeds laziness and it punishes achievement and success. How is it right, just and fair for me to pay into a tax system that will give an outright check to a person who hasn’t paid a dime in federal taxes? That’s what will happen under this BS “95% tax plan.”

I have worked my entire life for what I have. Get that? I HAVE WORKED for what I have. No one has given it to me, no one has helped me along the way. I REFUSE to vote for an inexperienced junior senator who wants to take what is rightfully mine and give it to someone else. Just because he can stand behind a lecturn and give a really great SOUNDING speech does not mean he’s the best man to run the most powerful and influential country in the world. And THAT’S what it’s about.

NOBAMA.

Republicans are going to show up like you wouldn’t believe just to make sure that the muslim doesn’t win. God help America.

Man, this is hilarious. I love how she is so completely inept that she can’t even respond to actual issues! You know why? Because she has no idea how to respond to actual issues. She’s just voting for her “brother” because he is one. And that is just as bad as someone NOT voting for him for the same reason.

“Now, why would any American think it’s OK for the Government to take such property “

Because somebody over 100 years ago said “40 acres and a Mule”—-and those somebodies still think they are owed that.
