Exercise and Eating More?

Oh great! Just when I joined a new gym and started taking step classes with weights I read this news. “When some people increase their physical activity, they also step up their eating, according research presented t the annual meeting of the Obesity Society, an organization of weight-control professionals.” I am exercising more so I can trim a few pounds before the eat-a-thon of the Holidays arrives. But, now I learn that working out is going make me work up a bigger appetite! That’s not what I wanted.

The researchers did find that diet study subjects still lose weight from exercising more but not as much as they might have according to Timothy Church, director of preventive medicine research at Pennington Biomedical Research Center in Baton Rouge.

Do you eat MORE when you exercise MORE? Guess it shows that even when you’re burning more calories with exercise you still have to keep track of caloric intake. mind what goes into your mouth.
