Picky eaters all in the family?

No luck getting your kids to eat their broccoli or spinach? You might have yourself to blame. A new study in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition concludes that food neophobia’s are an inherited characteristic. Neo or “new” phobia’s kick in about age 2 or 3 and are pretty normal as kids are exposed to new tastes or new foods. The researchers found that the level of phobia or picky food behavior seemed to be family related…genetically…not just environmentally. So, picky eaters are born…not made. Does this information help you? Or just make it tougher at dinner time?
